Loving Temporary Home for Your DogVirginia-Highland, atlanta, GA

**I am now CPR and Emergency First Aid Trained**

Hey there! I would really like to start by saying I love watching dogs and I will usually take my regulars last minute (in other words, I will most likely have more than just your pup during my stay!). That being said, if I do have more than just your pup, they still get a lot of attention, snuggles, and exercise! Because of this, I cannot take any dog that has tendencies to be aggressive. One that is a grump from time to time and might growl is fine...but if your dog is truly aggressive and will go after and fight another dog, I unfortunately will not be a good fit for you. I am one of those people that truly wishes she could watch every dog on the planet, but it must be a safe environment for all.

Please also let me know if your dog has severe anxiety or gets really upset when you leave....it will be beneficial for all of us to do a trial afternoon or evening.

I would love to give your dog a loving home while your away. I have a small fenced in backyard and a lot of parks nearby! I work close so I can come check in on your pup at lunch. I enjoy dogs so much, and will make sure to send you plenty of pictures of your pup while you're away! I am responsible and dependable, and will take very good care of your dog.

I am covered with insurance in case there is a medical emergency. I am also willing to travel a reasonable distance.

Please reach out to me and see why you will be very happy to leave your dog in my hands. I am more than willing to provide references as well.

My experience administering medication

I have done it all- shots, eye drops, oral medication, topical medication. There is nothing I won't do, but I ask you walk me through your pup's special needs.

Welcome to our doggy hotel. I have experience with all shapes and sizes of dogs. I have always had dogs in my home and taking care of dogs is one of my passions. I understand how important dogs are in a family and will honor any request to make your dog's stay as comfortable and close to home as possible. In our home, we have a completely fenced back yard, with tons of space for our guests to run around. I currently live with two male terrier mixes that are very playful and friendly. My husband has experience training dogs and will be available to all clients. Dogs will not be left alone for more than 1-2 hours at a time. I look forward to becoming a part of your dog's family.

Full-Time Professional Pet Sitters!Adair Park, Atlanta, GA

Our Services:

We are full-time pet sitters so we are able to offer a very flexible schedule for walks and house visits as well as daycare/boarding in our home-like facility, 365 days of the year! We love all pets and are happy to provide home visits for dogs, cats, birds, fish, other small animals, as well as livestock/farm animals.

Our Place:

My husband (Jawad), our dogs (Howard & Ares), and I recently purchased a new space in Adair Park down the street from our house. It is set up exactly like our home was with a huge fenced backyard, "doggie bedrooms" for hanging out/sleeping, a "doggie living room" for playing/hanging out, and plenty of couches, dog beds, toys etc. It is very home-like and one of us (myself, my husband, or one of our amazing pet-loving employees) is always there. While it's great for active and playful pups, for our older or less active guests there are plenty of quiet spaces to relax!

Hours: By appointment only between 7am-9pm. Extended hours are available between 6am-7am and 9pm-10:30pm for an additional charge of $10.

For Boarding/Daycare: We ask that all boarding/daycare be fully vaccinated including Rabies, Bordatella, Distemper, as well as regular heartworm and flea medication (we will need a copy of records on file). We are able to accommodate dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, and can provide separate play areas/hangout spots for small dogs, senior and more fragile dogs, or dogs that prefer human companionship only. Let us know your requirements and I'm sure we can make the best arrangements for you and your pet! Our packing list is very short: Food and any necessary meds! We have plenty of beds, bowls, toys etc so we prefer that you not pack these (dogs do not usually respect each others individual belongings very well lol).

For Walks/House Visits: We are able to offer these services during our normal or extended business hours (extra charge applies). You are welcome to indicate a preferred time, however, please be aware that due to scheduling changes and Atlanta traffic visits may fall up to an hour before/after the preferred time. Pets with incontinence problems, time-sensitive medications, etc will receive scheduling priority.

For Meet & Greets: We do not require these but you are more then welcome to schedule one. Please be aware that for meetings at our facility you may bring your dogs but we will not introduce them to other dogs during the meet and greet as it is much easier/safer for us to do this in a more calm, controlled setting. Additionally, we cannot always allow you to walk through every inch of our space for a number of reasons...the most important being that we are trying to maintain a calm, home environment and a new person/dog walking through just causes way too much excitement/barking/jumping.

About Us:

My (Lauren) personal background is filled with animal care experience. I have a bachelors degree in Animal Science, have volunteered in numerous shelters and animal-related organizations, have worked in a small animal veterinary office and at a boutique doggie daycare/boarding facility. With this lifetime of experience, I have developed the ability to care for pets of various breeds, activity levels, ages, and medical or behavioral concerns.

While Jawad was not raised with animals (except for a parrot), he has always loved them. When he was young he tried to sneak a husky puppy into his house and was hoping it'd go unnoticed by his mom...he was successful for about 2 weeks haha! Now, he takes great care of Howard and Ares and is a bit of a softy about letting them snuggle on the couch with him. In the past few years he has assisted me with walking and sitting pets of all types...from a sweet, cuddly Japanese Chin, to a young, playful and not entirely potty trained puppy, to a sassy and very chatty cat, to a rambunctious, fully-grown, Bernese Mountain Dog. He's a natural!

Our boys:

My pup Howard is the most relaxed and calm dog I know, and often gets along with dogs that no other dog does. Ares is young and playful, but also very sweet and good with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have never seen a dog so gentle with pups smaller than him!

Howard, Ares, Jawad and I would be thrilled to host or care for your pets at our "home" or in the comfort of yours. We will be happy to provide as much attention, activities, snacks, and snuggles as possible!

Your dog's home away from home!Tucker, GA

I've always had dogs growing up and enjoy their companionship and energy. For the past seven years, my husband, Skylar, and I shared our home with our four-legged kid named Shoy. We adopted him at about six-weeks old from the Atlanta Humane Society. Shoy was friendly and energetic, loved to play, take walks, and snuggle with his mom. We lost Shoy to GI cancer in October 2019 and miss him dearly. In January 2020, we adopted a new puppy named Leia. She's still growing and learning, but loves all the new friends she meets through Rover!

We have a spacious home with a deck, as well as a fully fenced in yard, perfect for sun bathing, running and playing fetch. Your canine companion will love it here!

Why I love dog sitting

I have been a dog lover as long as I can remember! Growing up, I had several dogs named Muffy (or so my parents tell me) and a Pikengese Chihuahua mix named Erica. My grandparents also had several large dogs that I helped to feed and care for. My husband Skylar and I have been dog sitting with Rover since 2014.

About my yard

Our backyard is spacious and fully fenced in. There is plenty of space dogs to run and play. (The previous owners had 6 dogs!) Most of the yard is gently sloped and grassy.

About this sitter:

I am a Dog Lover and Enthusiast. I will care for your dog as if it were mine. I understand the need for your pets to have exercise and human playtime to have a happy and healthy time while you are away from them.

Why I love dog sitting

I have loved dogs and animals since I was born. I have been fortunate enough to grow up all over Asia and Europe and have always saved and cared for any animals i found.I had my first dog Princess in Japan who had a few litters that I would care for as a young girl. I love dogs and more importantly dogs love me......

Meet my pets

My 6 yr old mixed breed is the active one and will keep your playful pups busy running around the yard and play wrestling till all they can do is nap.

About my yard

My yard is completely fenced in like a fort. I do like to allow my dogs and their guests to play outside as long as they like. I have a window overlooking the back yard so I can always watch them & capture all the fun moments via photo or video. I do allow my dogs to sleep on the couch and on my bed, if your pup is not allowed just let me know and i will be sure to keep your rules in my house so as not to create any doggie bad habits for you. I also always have treats (some homemade) for your pups if they are allowed.

My experience administering medication

Yes, I am able to give shots as well.

Home FT, Fenced Yard & Vet TechStone Mountain, GA

Hi, I’m Trasi and I love dogs! I have had pups my entire life and am currently the proud owner of two dogs, who are absolutely spoiled. Kairo Barkley is a four-year-old German Shepherd and Chance Barkley is six-year-old Border Collie. I’m also the proud wife of Raye, a Vet Tech who will be around to lend a helping hand to our furry visitors. We cannot wait to have new furry pups join our pet posse!

I became inspired to become a pet sitter because I wanted to give parents another option, rather than just the normal boarding process. I have been doing this for fun since I was a kid, but professionally for 10 years and know how nice it is to leave your furry pal with a loving family, rather than alone in a boarding facility. With our family, your pup gets interaction all day, as well as some furry playmates.

I have experience with many breeds of dogs and feel comfortable around all personalities and sizes of pups! In addition to my personal experience with our canine counterparts, I’m a volunteer with pet rescues and have assisted with adoptions at various shelters. At our house, we want to give your pet the home away from home experience! We will offer overnight stays, play time, nail trimming, baths, and anal gland expression. As I stated before, my husband is experienced with more than ten years experience and formal education.

I think everyone will love the fact that I am detail oriented, friendly and easy going. I know how hard it is to be away from our furry friends so I am always available via phone call or text. I love to send pics and videos of your pup enjoying their time with me. Anything you need - I will do my best to provide it to both you and your pet.

I live in a wonderful home in a large subdivision with its own lake, which both I and my pups love. It’s so relaxing and very dog and family-friendly, so your dog will be able to meet and greet lots of new friends. Our home itself is very cozy and large with a fenced-in backyard where your dog can enjoy playtime, sunbathing, and potty breaks! My home is completely animal-friendly and we even have a “dog room” where the pups go in to play and sleep.

We are ecstatic to get to know you and your pet!

Dependable, professional pet care.Decatur, GA

Hey! I am an experienced kennel tech, house sitter, dog handler, and all around animal person with the skills and personality to interact with all types of pets. I provide pictures and videos for ALL customers!! (Not sure why the profile says otherwise?) House-sitting, overnights, boarding, drop-ins, simple walks... I do it all! I have many years of experience as a technician at three separate dog daycares and boarding facilities. My four-year-old Bassett Hound mix, Boris, and his housemate Holly Bird, a cattle dog mix, are both in love with other dogs and would provide great company to any pup who spends time with us. ***We just recently added a THIRD rescue pup to our pack!! Tutti is an adorable 7 lbs Chihuahua mix, who is in love with life!*** I cannot stress enough how important socialization is in the development of dogs and their behavior. It is crucial and very important to us in the environment we want to provide for our animals. Observing dog behavior is also very important to us. We watch dogs closely to ensure there is no bullying or negative behavior in our pack. My extensive experience helps us understand our and other dogs personalities.

About this sitter:

Experienced dog handler and volunteer, passionate about animals, and just generally a "dog person". I'm very active and spend lots of time engaging my own three dogs. We love to hike, camp, take long walks, and even a simple game of fetch makes us all happy. Socialization is very important to me in the process of raising my dogs so fostering and dog sitting is a huge part of my life. We provide a comfortable, safe, and fun environment for any dogs in our care.

I have experience as a dog owner, dog handler, and a shelter volunteer! I have been trained in administering medications. Pack building and monitoring of behavior are skills I have gained from working with large groups of dogs at one time.

Why I love dog sitting

My interactions with animals started at a very young age, from fostering to volunteering. I was raised always with pets. This sparked my interest to work and volunteer with them as an adult.

Meet my pets

I have two dogs of my own. Boris and Holly are an inseparable pair who pack up easily with new dogs. They have an insatiable desire for affection and attention from all dogs. Socialization is extremely vital in the raising of our dogs so they have no problems sharing their yard with new dog friends. Boris is a Bassett-Hound mix who is very driven and playful. Holly comes from a questionable upbringing so we are working on her confidence when it comes to new playmates, she takes a little bit to warm up to people and new dogs and plays the submissive role in the two's relationship. They are an absolutely perfect balance for each other.

***Little Tutti is the new addition to our pack and is as well socialized as our other two! He has a very sad beginning story of being abandoned but is currently killing it at life with his two siblings!!***

About my yard

Our fully fenced in backyard is half shaded and half exposed, making it great for sunbathing in the summer and also providing relief if it is too hot. We have a shallow doggie play pool for hot weather when we play outside!

My experience administering medication

My extensive experience working with animals has given me training in administering medications to dogs.

Barks and RecreationTucker, GA

My husband and I have been dog-sitting professionally for more than three years. We welcome all dog breeds, but we make a priority to match our guests by size and personality. We also work from home and have flexible hours so we can usually provide 24/7 care.

We live in a large dog-friendly house with a big fenced-in back yard and a few acres of woods with trails and a stream behind the house. We take dogs for daily walks and always have play-time in the back yard. We have an extra living room in our house dedicated as a doggie play area, which comes in really handy on a rainy day. Our neighborhood is nice and quiet with almost no car traffic, so your pup can have a relaxing time on their daily walk.

We prefer to have a meet and greet whenever possible. We like to learn more about your dog's likes and dislikes, and their eating, sleeping, and walking schedules so we can make them feel as much at home as possible.

We currently prefer to have only four guests at a time unless they are same-family dogs. We are very flexible about pick-up and drop-off times, but we ask that you plan to come before midnight or after 6:30 AM. We may decide to charge for an extra night if your dog comes very early the first day and leaves very late on the last day, especially on weekends or holidays.
