About: Animals are my passion. I’ve spent many years caring for and loving on other’s animals as if they were my own. I have experience working in a doggy daycare, and I am currently working as a veterinary assistant! I am comfortable working with all pups and kitties, special needs or not! As I mentioned before, I am working as a full time vet assistant so my hours are slightly limited. I am free to visit your babies on my lunch break or after my shift I am comfortable handling all sorts of pups, varying from the young, spry ones, up and all the way to the sweet older pups who may need some more care.

I’ve been using Chelsea less than a week to help with walking my four-legged best friend. She keeps an open line of communication which I find to be very important. My dog seems to enjoy her walks with her?. I would recommend Chelsea if you’re looking for a dogwalker. Definitely 5 star service.

I hope to meet you and your furry friends VERY soon. Please don't hesitate to call, text, or message via the Rover app. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day! :) I am currently a stay at home mom so I have plenty if time to care for your fur baby. I will always make accommodations in my schedule to fit every dog/ cat I am sitting. Packing list: **Food **Treats are welcome **Bowls(preferably non glass bowls) **If your dog is crated at home bring a crate! **Blankets and Beds are welcome if not brought one will be provided to them **Medication (if it applies to your dog) **No Toys as we provide them! Or reviews last posted from 2022. A few years ago we got off Rover and became private sitters due to us gaining enough loyal clientele. Taking care of your babies would be my absolute honor and bring me joy to provide a peace of mind for you to enjoy knowing your family is in good hands when you can’t bring them along. About: I have been a pet owner, dog and cat lover all my life. I can't remember a time when I didn't have a pet.I have cared for dogs, cats, birds and other pets for family and friends and also as part of my duties at a former employer. A warm greeting for your dog , a good workout, or a leisurely walk. Your pet's safety, security, and happiness are of utmost importance to me. I will provide daily reports on time of walk, length of stay, bathroom habits, check food , water. I will always place the keys in a secure location and lock the house when leaving. I am available for pet sitting in your home as I believe pets are more comfortable in their own home. I'm open most days. I'm semi-retired and my schedule is pretty flexible. For daily walk and visit 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Mon-Fri . I will care for your pets, and try to closely match the routine you have for your pet. Will crate them if that is your preference after a daily visit. Feeding walking etc to fit your needs

About: Hi! My name is Sydney and I would love to be able to share my love for animals with you and your pet. I do other services such as wag for about 4 years. I also have done Rover before with my mom for 5 years prior. I know how to administer medication, due to the fact one of my own fur babies had diabetes. Very comfortable with senior care and their special ways as I had a baby that had doggy dementia. Also 3 years ago I got a puppy and he’s now 4 but this is to say I’ve raised and trained him (along side my mom) to sit, high five and be potty trained. I've had a dog since before I was even born, so I have a strong place in my heart for animals. I promise to be beyond patient and gentle with your pet because I would hope someone would do the same with mine. I also love to take pictures so l will always send you beautiful pictures of your baby while they are in my care. If you choose me, I would be so grateful to take care of your fur baby while you're away. Thank you! I currently only work from home and attend college online. Im basically always home and always here to take care of your baby. I can take them on walks 3 times a day and if I do anything else outside I always bring them with me downstairs so they can have some extra outside time in the backyard. I also have a fenced in backyard with tons of space so they can sniff and roam freely whenever they’d like. I allow all animals on my furniture so they are always either in my lap or right next to me on my bed! In your home I will abide by whatever rules you have set to ensure your pets safety and make sure you’re comfortable. And if I have any questions at all I’m not afraid to give you a quick call so we can make sure we’re on the same page In my own home, if you would like me to ever put your animal up I do have an extra room in my house where I can put them so they don’t have to be in a cage and they have some more space. I also turn on animal music so they aren’t just sitting in silence while I’m not there. But animals usually have free rein here as I love animals being near me as much as they love being near people!

About: I’m a daycare teacher and babysitter who absolutely loves caring for both kids and pets! I’ve dog sat twice so far, and it’s quickly become something I really enjoy. I love being around different pets—their personalities are so fun, and I’m always learning something new from each one. I’m very patient, loving, and attentive, and I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I’d love to keep growing in pet care and make this a regular part of what I do! I work full-time as a daycare teacher Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, but I’m still able to balance pet care reliably. When house sitting, I stay in the client’s home to ensure consistent care. I take care of pets in the mornings before work, check in during breaks when needed, and give them full attention once I’m off. I make sure they are fed, walked, and comfortable throughout the day, and I always prioritize their safety and well-being while maintaining a structured routine. On weekends I’m 100% available! I don’t have pets of my own yet! But When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help the pet feel comfortable and safe. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, and get regular potty breaks and walks. I also spend time playing with them, giving attention, and making sure they feel calm and not lonely. I keep the home clean by picking up after the pet and following any specific instructions the owner provides. I also check in with updates when needed so the owner feels reassured while they’re away.

About: Raised with 4 dogs as a kid and 10+ outdoor cats, I love animals. I figured why not get paid to care for my friends. I currently work for myself at home so I have plenty of time to bend my schedule as needed. Very flexible to accommodate unique services needed. I currently live in a spacious apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood. No backyard but very big park just a walk away. Fenced entrance. Air conditioned. Non smoker.

About: I’ve been a proud dog mom for over 10 years and have spent my life around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Being with dogs comes naturally to me, and I genuinely love getting to know what makes each pup unique. I’m always learning and adapting to your dog’s individual needs, because providing loving, attentive care is my top priority. When I’m caring for your dog, whether we’re playing, walking, or just hanging out, my focus is fully on making them feel happy, safe, and loved. I’m more than happy to take your pup to the dog park for fresh air, exercise, and social time with other dogs while you’re away. I also have a dog of my own, my “biological child”, a 6 year old black Lab mix who’s still full of energy and keeps life fun and active. I work as a photographer, which means I’m home about 80% of the time. This gives me great flexibility for drop-in visits and allows me to accommodate last minute bookings when life gets busy or plans change. When caring for your pup, I aim to keep their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. Whether that means walks, trips to the dog park, or sticking to the activities they already love, I’m happy to follow what works best for them so they feel right at home. I work as a photographer, which means I’m home about 80% of the time. I typically work 1 wedding every weekend and I will be out of the home for about 6-8 hours. Every other day I will be working from home. This makes tailoring my schedule to fit your pups need very easy for me. I live in a wooded area that has a lot of grass, which is perfect for those long (leashed) walks. I do have a dog of my own, Leia, who can be a great companion to your pup while you are away. My condo is a 2BD (1200 sq ft) which provides ample room for your pet to explore. There is even a balcony :) I also have a crate for Leia and she is crate trained, in the event your dog needs a break from her.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life, from smaller breeds to large. I’ve worked at two dog daycares before, working with training dogs; grooming( nail trimming and bathes). My love for animals is very endless, they are better than people sometimes XD! I care for my own animals, so pet care is already a part of my daily routine! I work part time, otherwise my attention is focused on my fur babies at home. My apartment complex has an designed area with ample room for activities that my small dog enjoys and could be offered to my clients. I am flexible, and am great at accommodating to the many different personalities that animals may possess. I have worked at multiple dog boarding facilities that have allowed me to practice caring for many dogs at once and assessing each of their needs individually and accordingly.

Meghan has been a pleasure to work with and help me with my dogs. I have one rambunctious dog and a giant scaredy cat of a dog. She has worked with both well! Making friends with the scared one and controlling the naughty one. Highly recommend. There is no question she cares about animals and is thinking about their welfare, which is the most important thing in an indivdual you are trusting with your pets.

Maggie did a wonderful job in every way with our beloved Sadie. Maggie is a natural with animals and she connected with Sadie’s personality on day one. When Sadie sprained her leg during a walk, Maggie spent extra time to comfort her and take care of her, and kept us well informed. I think they both found a new friend in one another. We have complete trust in Maggie and give her our highest recommendation!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
