“We left our dog Barney for over 10 days with Telly and Carlos while on an overseas trip. This was our first time using Rover on a recommendation of a friend, first time leaving him with a stranger, first time for an extended period. Lots of firsts and we were a little nervous. This whole experience could not have gone better! Telly and Carlos visited with us once before the stay to meet and make sure they all click, and to see him interact with them and other dogs. Right after we left him they made Barney feel obviously completely at home, wholeheartedly embraced him, all whitnessed by daily funny pictures and updates. And while he can get aggressive with big dogs he does not know, he made friends with a bigger dog while there. Overall great experience. Truly wonderful dog lovers and dog sitters. We could not give a higher recommendation.”

“Nikki took great care of my dog Annabelle. She even administered her medication as well as had my dog not wanting to come home due to the luxury treatment lol. I would definitely book her again!”

“Karen couldn’t have been more perfect!!! I’ve never felt comfortable leaving our fur baby with anyone until now. I’m so happy she was so well taken care of! Karen is truly a dog whisperer and cares for others pets like her own!”

About: I've had a special connection to dogs and cats ever since I was a little girl. Before the days of the internet, when I was in college, I would spend summers as a live-in pet sitter (dogs and cats) for several of my friends. They then recommended me to their friends and word spread that I was a reliable, friendly and trustworthy pet caregiver. I am now semi-retired and have returned to pet care for other people's four-legged children. I have a dog and 3 cats and I can't imagine my life without them. I have a deep love and respect for animals and I give the same level of care and attention to other people's fur babies as I do with my own. If you are a new Rover customer, please use my promo code for $20 off your first booking: KIMO78301 I am self employed and currently work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I have good availability on both week days and weekends. And I am available for last minute requests. I am excellent at following instructions. I will respect your home and take care of your precious fur babies as if they were my own!
“Delmina and her family did a great job taking care of my pup during a business trip! She provided regular updates and photos/videos along with lots of play time, walks, and cuddles. Her house has a good setup for pets with a comfortable layout and a huge fenced in backyard. Addie loved running around an chasing toys there. I would definitely book again.”

“Felicia was great. Her house is super clean and very nicely decorated, I might add! Oliver looked happy in the pictures I was being updated with and came home smelling cleaner than before! She was great with communication also, I will definitely be using her services again.”

“Anita was amazing with my Jimmy. She sent constant photos and he loved all the interactions with her dogs. With a new baby at home, he sadly doesn't get much play time so the throughly enjoyed his stay and hopes to do it again next time we leave! Couldn't promote Anita more :)”

“Oreo had the best time with Oscar and Kellie, so much fun that she didn't want to go home after staying with them for 6 nights. We received messages and videos each day about how Oreo was doing, this made us feel comfortable leaving Oreo with them. Oreo has tons of energy and they took her out for walks every day, which she enjoys very much. Thank you for keeping our Oreo safe and having fun. We'll consider y'all for future bookings! Again, thank you so much!”

“We have used Carlos and his wife Jessica 4 separate occasions this past year and they have been great . My dog loves going there and I have peace of mind knowing she is well taken care of during her stay !”

“The sitter was nice and so was her daughter. I wanted to receive more pics and videos of Skylar. I only received a couple upon request. My dog was happy upon returning, which is a great sign because she struggles with separation anxiety. She didn’t seem shaky. The sitter informed me another dog used her bedding, which I didn’t appreciate. However she also informed me that she washed it and I appreciate that. Overall, it was a nice experience.”

“Once again I came home to a happy well kept dog. Yanjin is truly a blessing. I don't have to worry about how my Sasha is being treated while I travel. I highly recommend her. ❤️”

“James and his wife De were wonderful. They took such great care of Bentley. Loved all the pictures and they kept me up to date as to how Bentley was doing. Hopefully we can do it again soon. Susan and Bentley ☺️”

About: Hi! I’m a dog mom to a friendly poodle Bichon mix. I’ve cared for dogs for over 10 years and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. Because I work from home much of the time, your dog will receive plenty of attention throughout the day. I enjoy taking dogs for long walks in park, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away. I know every dog has a different personality and routine, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel safe and happy. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or a senior, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I’m an educator WFH part time. My household just me and my poodle. No kids. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. My schedule is especially flexible during evenings, weekends, holidays, and academic breaks. I live in a clean, pet-friendly new construction townhouse with a nice dog park. Pets in my care will be treated like my own kids. They are supervised, have access to fresh water, comfortable resting areas, and plenty of attention. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special requests. I also like taking too many cute photos and videos :) and give updates so owners won’t be worry about their pets while they’re away.
“Kathryn was wonderful with our dog, Sadie! She was so responsive and kept us updated through out the weekend with photos. They played fetch, cuddled on the couch, and had the best time. Will certainly reach out again in the future!”

This was my first time using Rover. I was very hesitant because I didn’t know if I would feel comfortable leaving my fur baby anyone. I thank God for Samantha she is the absolute best! I mean the pictures she sent me her text messages let me see my Hercules was happy and she was taking good care of him. I know now that when I leave and go out of town who I can TRUST to leave Hercules with. Again thank you Samantha so much for caring for my Hercules! 🙏🙂
Laika had an amazing time playing with the other dogs and spending the night. Adriana was soooo nice and sent lots of updates and photos. We enjoyed reading them during our night out. I only met her briefly, but you can tell she’s an amazing person and really cares for her animals. I’m sure Laika was just as spoiled here as at home. Will definitely be back again to play!

Marilyn was by far the best pet sitter we’ve ever left Gizmo with. Very sweet and caring with my little pooch. I’m so glad we met her. Gizmo loved being there with her and the kids. I pray that God continues to bless her and her family, Thank you so much we are very grateful.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
