“Daniela was wonderful taking my puppy, Brody into her home and taking such good care of him. Being a puppy, he is certainly a handful and Daniela worked on his training skills and kept him comfortable safe and plenty of love and attention time. I think my little boy Brody really enjoyed staying with her and I was comfortable and felt secure leaving my little baby with her while I was away. Daniela sent me daily updates, photos and videos which were fantastic! No worries, no fear, just relaxed knowing that he was well taken care of. Thank you, Daniela! You’re wonderful! Brody and I really appreciate you.❤️”

“Daphne continues to provide a 5-star pet sitting experience to my Sandi. Her professionalism, quality of care, responsiveness, and cleanliness have not wavered since our first visit in 2023. I never worry about Sandi in her care and Sandi is also very pleased.”

“This is my second time boarding my pup at Richard’s house and once again, he has been absolutely amazing. He worked with my pup when he was being a little difficult and kept me in the loop the whole weekend. Can’t recommend him enough!”

“Yari did a great job taking care of my 3 dogs. I had an emergency come up and I wasn’t able to pick them up at the agreed time and she was very accommodating. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to date for their dogs while they’re away.”
“Let me start with Rosie Mae is a 7 month puppy with lots of energy. She was not fully house trained and a finicky eater. It was the first time I had to leave her and I was a little worried. James and his wife was very patient with her. They text me and ask if he could try different kinds of foods with her to see if she would eat. I got updates and pictures about Three time a day. They made it a lot easier leaving her. If you need a ONE sitter use James . HE IS THE BEST !!! ,”

About: You're not looking for a pet sitter. You're looking for a second home for your furchild. I get it — leaving your fur baby behind is the hardest part of any trip. That's why I've built the kind of setup I'd want for my own dog, because my chihuahua lives here too, and he has very high standards. Here's what your fur baby's stay actually looks like: 🛏️ Cage-free, always. Your fur baby sleeps in the bed. On the couch. Wherever they're happiest. Zero kennels, zero crates, zero lonely nights. 🏡 A real home, not a facility. Large fenced backyard with security cameras throughout — so I can watch over your fur baby around the clock. 📸 Daily photos + on-demand updates. Want a mid-afternoon "she's napping in a sunbeam" photo? Done. I send updates before you even think to ask. 🚗 Free pickup and drop-off within 20 miles. One less thing to stress about on travel day. 👩⚕️ Small dog specialist. I own a chihuahua and know the medical, dietary, and emotional needs of small breeds inside and out — from temperature sensitivity to feeding schedules to the big personality packed into a tiny body. ⭐ Intimate by design. I only accept 2 guests at a time, so your fur baby always gets personalized attention — never lost in a crowd. ⏰ 24/7 care. I work from home. Your fur baby is never alone. MY PROMISE You'll spend your trip actually relaxing — not refreshing your texts hoping for a sign of life. I'll send you a photo before you even land. SEE IT FOR YOURSELF Not sure yet? Come tour my home before you decide. Meet my chihuahua, see the backyard, and get a real feel for where your fur baby will be staying. I want you walking away with complete confidence — not just hope. Message me to schedule your free home tour today. 🏠 Spots fill up fast around holidays — message me anytime to check availability. No question is too small when it comes to your fur baby. 🐾 I'm home full-time, so caring for your fur baby fits naturally into my day — it's not a side task, it's my lifestyle. I'm with my own chihuahua almost all day, every day, which means any fur baby in my care gets that same level of presence, consistency, and attention around the clock. No rushing home between meetings, no leaving them alone for hours — just a calm, steady routine that keeps your fur baby feeling safe, loved, and right at home. Your fur baby is treated like family from the moment they arrive. There are no cages, no crates, and no isolation — just a warm, welcoming home where they're free to roam, play, and relax just like they would at home. Every fur baby gets my full attention throughout the day. We start with a morning walk, followed by playtime and relaxing in my large fenced backyard. If your fur baby enjoys outings, I can take them to one of two nearby parks — Lenora Park or Alexander Park — for extra exercise and fun. In the evenings, it's wind-down time — cuddles on the couch and a good night's sleep in the bed, never alone in a crate. I follow your fur baby's existing routine as closely as possible — feeding schedules, nap times, medications, and any special needs are all taken seriously and never overlooked. As a chihuahua owner, I'm especially attuned to the needs of small breeds, from temperature sensitivity to portion sizes to reading their mood and body language. Throughout the day I send photo and video updates so you always know how your fur baby is doing — and I'm always available if you want to check in. I only host 2 guests at a time, so your fur baby always gets personalized, one-on-one care — never lost in a crowd.

“Winter loves JR. He is our go-to person whenever we need we need to stay with someone overnight. He’s always so caring and sweet with winter that winter comes back home super happy and is always excited to see JR again!”

“Lulu was absolutely amazing! When my brother dropped my dog off he said she ran into Lulus home like it was her own and that alone explains how comfortable she was around Lulu and her family! This was our first time leaving our Nala with someone other than family and it was amazing. Lulu kept in good connection with us and sent pictures just when we needed them most! Definitely using Lulu again anytime we leave town!”
“We were so appreciative that Nikki took great care of our fur baby!! Our pug is usually a little picky when it comes to people, but our pug loved her. We could tell right away that she was loved and happy when we picked her up. We will absolutely use Nikki’s services again!!!”

About: I’ve always adored pets growing up and both of my parents are certified veterinarians so I pretty much grew up around animals my entire life! I’m currently a college student doing online classes so I am at home majority of the time taking care of my own personal pets day to day I monitor them really the entire time with them by my side, but I also have two veterinarians with me in my household every day
“Diana and her Family took great care of our Koko! She sent pictures and kept us updated as this was his first time with her. We are truly grateful and will definitely schedule with her again.”

“I highly recommend Alexander for larger dogs. He and his gf took great care of our husky who is 13. They have extensive experience with dogs and huskies, so it was a good fit for us. They even helped me figure out the best way to give him his meds. He's a stubborn dog and they graciously accepted the challenge when it comes to his meds, and they succeeded. I received regular pics while I was away and Alexander is very responsive with communication. I will definitely board with him again in the future.”

If I take longer at work my husband usually comes home before me to care for the pups. I have a big fenced in yard which your pets will love. We have 3 dogs that will keep your pet company. We do have crates if needed for your pet as well.
“Nakeisha was great! She’s super organized and Zeppelin had a great time! She sends photos so I knew he was happy and playing outside with the other dogs! He will be back for sure!”

“Beth was absolutely phenomenal! We were completely comfortable with leaving our Bodhi with her and her fur baby. She communicated well during his stay, keeping us up-to-date on various things he was doing. That provided an extra layer of comfort. Upon picking him up, I noticed how comfortable he was with them so I knew that he was happy there, as well. We look forward to next time!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Grayson
She was absolutely amazing. We were in a bind and needed care for Boots immediately and she was so accommodating with us. She sent pictures everyday and kept us updated on how he was doing. This was his first day away from home so we were very concerned on how he would settle in.

We were lucky to find Pamela and Barry. They arranged a meet and greet and you can tell they are true pet lovers! Their home is super pet friendly. They sent of videos and pictures of our fur babies while we were away. Our fur babies had the opportunity to socialize with other pups as well. If the need arises to have our doggies looked after again, I would not hesitate to leave them with Pamela and Barry!

Laika had an amazing time playing with the other dogs and spending the night. Adriana was soooo nice and sent lots of updates and photos. We enjoyed reading them during our night out. I only met her briefly, but you can tell she’s an amazing person and really cares for her animals. I’m sure Laika was just as spoiled here as at home. Will definitely be back again to play!

Maria was fantastic! This was the first time Buddy was in her care. Buddy has some medical issues so Maria knew that I was worried about him eating and taking his medications. She made sure to send me plenty of pictures so that I could see that he was taking his meds and eating. Even though english is not Maria’s first language, there were no issues with communication. I will definitely contact Maria when needed in the future.

Marilyn was by far the best pet sitter we’ve ever left Gizmo with. Very sweet and caring with my little pooch. I’m so glad we met her. Gizmo loved being there with her and the kids. I pray that God continues to bless her and her family, Thank you so much we are very grateful.

Loved loved loved Ariadna. She made my first time user Rover a great experience. In the beginning I was So hesitant but she answered EVERY question that I had about the process and reassured me each time. Ariadna stayed in constant communication the entire time sending pictures and videos. Thank you so much!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
