About: I have had over 30 years of experience with a variety of pets. I worked in a family run pet store during high school and college, spent many years as a vet tech and have owned cats, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles and numerous other small animals over the years. Finding someone to care for your smaller animals can be challenging, so I am hoping to be able to provide that service to my community. I currently work full time from home but have incredible flexibility with no strict work hours. I tend to be a very early morning person (up at 4am to exercise) and early to bed by 9pm. I understand the importance of keeping your pets in the same routine as you would if you were not away so I will do my best to be flexible. Cats need fresh food, water and litter box cleaning daily, and even multiple times daily depending on the situation. I am also able to give medications (orally, injections, etc.). And of course, if your cat bonds with me, I'm happy to hang out and give him/her some love. I also realize some cats may not take well to strangers and having volunteered at Furkids, I know it may take a lot of patience and time to build that bond.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and i have taken care of others dogs for years. I have my own fur babies and I can’t imagine my life without them. I have such a deep love for all animals which is so important when owning and caring for pets. They are part of the family. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily life because I have a flexible schedule and genuinely love spending time with dogs. I don’t have a traditional work schedule, so I’m able to give pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve throughout the day. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, giving them plenty of affection, and simply having them around while I go about my day. I’m able to be flexible with their individual routines and make sure they get regular bathroom breaks, meals, exercise, and lots of attention. I know every dog has their own personality and comfort level, so I like taking the time to get to know each pet and make them feel safe and at home. My goal is for every dog in my care to feel like they’re getting a fun, comfortable visit with a friend rather than simply being away from their family. I have a comfortable, dog-friendly home where pets can relax and feel at ease. What’s mine is theirs. I don’t have a fenced-in yard, so I always take dogs outside on a leash and make sure they get regular walks and bathroom breaks. I’m happy to adjust walks and activity levels based on each dog’s age, energy level, and individual needs. My home is also all on one level, which makes it a safe and comfortable environment for dogs of all ages and abilities. I’m especially mindful of dogs who may have mobility limitations or breeds that are more prone to back problems. I have dogs of my own(one being a mini dachshund), so I’m very comfortable caring for pets and understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’ll give each pet plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and supervision while they’re in my care, and I’ll do my best to make them feel like part of the family while they’re here.

If you are looking for the best sitter for your dog, then I have to tell you that Vanessa is who you are looking for. Vanessa keeps small dogs in her home and she loves them to death. She sends updates and pictures so you can see how your dog is doing so I can have peace of knowing he is fine. She is the only one I would consider leaving my precious dog with. Vanessa also kept my older dog who was blind and I was so reassured by her that he was doing OK.
We booked with Hilary for the first time, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! Since my dog is sweet but a bit fearful in unfamiliar environments, she looked a little tense on day one. However, as the days went by, her expression completely changed. By days two and three, she looked so happy and relaxed in every photo. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wish I could give Carly more stars She made me feel more relaxed and comfortable when I left our senior rescue Maltese named Rocky with her. I had to schedule from 700+ miles away. We live in Dallas and were meeting some of our family in Athens for Georgia football game. I was not going to leave Rocky in a hotel room all day. Or board him at a vet. Mijung is the best! She was very patient with my dog and very loving which is all i can ask for. My dog is quite active and she took her on multiple walks during the day. My dog came back happy and healthy, she honestly didn't seem like she wanted to leave which is very telling of how great Mijung is!
