About: I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages. I have cared for a three-legged dog, a blind dog, and a deaf dog. Our family dog we adopted when he was 2 years old, is now 15 years old, so I have cared for him throughout his life. I am currently on summer break from college, which gives me flexibility to be available for pet care. My schedule is completely open for the summer. I would first get to know each pet and spend time with them so that they are comfortable with me. As I have plenty of time - because I don't have another job - I can take my time and make the pets feel comfortable.

I spent this past summer living at, and helping out with, a dog mushing kennel. This taught me a lot about working dogs and about dealing with many dogs (20+) at one time.
