“Caroline did a marvelous job watching my two dogs. She was very communicative throughout the entire process and I am eager to use her again in the future. I couldn't recommend her enough as someone who will take great care of any furry friends.”

“We had a fun play date with Amber. She was very patient with kiko and established a good rapport with him on his first official sitting. Thank you so much for taking time to come for meet and greet as well.”

“Alexis has a great energy and my babies took to her very easily. She’s pleasant, timely and has great communication which leaves me with peace of mind when they are in her care. Definitely will be re-booking 🙂”

“Nelly is a wonderful and incredibly thoughtful sitter. She came to our meet-and-greet well prepared with a notebook to make sure she didn’t miss a thing, which immediately put me at ease. She took beautiful photos of my cats — just the right amount — and kept communication clear and reassuring throughout my time away. Nelly was also very flexible and always available when I needed to extend visits. I truly appreciated her care and attention, and I would absolutely recommend her.”

“Yoli is Great!! So glad we found her to take care of our baby. She’s so wonderful with following directions and is so sweet with our baby. We are very lucky to have found her. Thank you so much Yoli!”

“Felicia has been awesome! She’s taken great care of our two cats while we’ve been out of town and sent us photos, too. Super easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!”

“Peyton is amazing!! I’m glad I was able to hire her. I didn’t worry one minute while I was away about if he was being taken care of. I highly recommend Peyton and I will be booking her again in the near future. Rover made it possible to find great pet sitters such like Peyton!!! Thank you”

“Five Stars for punctuality and response time. We were in a bit of a crunch and needed a sitter and soon. Vienna had dutifully updated her availability, which is part of why we selected her.”

“Elyse, was a reliable, kind, daily visitor to my 2 cats. I was overseas, and didn't worry a bit about the cats. Elyse made my trip that much more enjoyable by sending me daily pics of Zell and Luna. I actually think it was good for my cats to socialize with an outsider, and Elyse was the perfect person to do that.”

“Anh was great with my pup! She made sure to ask great questions before the visit, and gave plenty of updates afterwards. I can tell that Panther had a great time with her. I will definitely be booking her again.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Abby! She took excellent care of our cat and fish while we were away and made us feel completely at ease. We’re so grateful and would absolutely book her again. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Suwanee
Hailey has looked after our cat Cookie wonderfully. She's very caring and has really reassured us that someone is looking after our cat very well. Cookie obviously loves her visits! Hailey is very detailed with her photos and report for the visit card. We highly recommend Hailey and we will look to book her for our next vacation.

Nelly provided very special care for my pet, timely and consistent care each day, spent time with my pet, and gave me comfort knowing Master Bruce was in “good hands”. Also, Nelly provided other services; collecting mail, watering potted plants, filling bird feeders and other detailed focused tasks! And, tons of photos of my pet each day! We look forward to Nelly caring for Master Bruce in the future!

Deborah did a good job taking care of our two elderly felines. They are both a bit skiddish so making sure they came out to eat was important as one has to be given medicine at each feeding twice daily. We received daily photos and short updates to keep us posted through the time we were away which was much appreciated.

Elyse is so wonderful! She’s so gracious and patient with my noisy yorkie, and the only person who can coax my fussy feline boujee to come out and play. I feel so comfortable traveling knowing she is there to take care of my fur babies. Highly highly recommend!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
