About: Now that I am retired from special education, I can pet-sit full-time! I’ve had dogs all of my life. I got “my” first dog when I was 11. He was a Jack Russell named Patches and lived to be 15. In college, I got a terrier mix named Claire. She lived to be 16. After Claire passed, I adopted June Bug and Ryder, two lab mixes. Ryder and I trained to be a therapy dog team and worked in assisted living homes cheering up the residents. I have gone through many hours of training with both June Bug and Ryder and am now considering working for a dog trainer. Ryder passed away in May 2026. I recently retired from the field of special education, and I’m ready to care for four-legged babies! I know how stressful it can be to find someone to watch your babies or to board them, so I’d just like to help. That’s my main focus. My pups are my kids. I’ll treat yours like family too. I am a recently retired (but still young!) special educator so I am extremely flexible these days. I’ll keep my calendar up to date for availability. If I am in town, I can often take last minute requests. When I come to your home, I will treat it like my own. I am responsible enough to follow all directions you leave. I can administer oral medications, feed, check mail, water plants, etc

About: I am a dog mom of 15 years! In addition to providing a safe, welcoming home for my own furbaby Tinky, I've also had experience with long term care of my sister's dog during necessary times. I have experience with medication, allergies, upset tummies, and all of the ups and downs that your baby may experience. I will treat your dog like I do mine, and they will get lots of cuddles, love, and attention. I look forward to welcoming your dog to their favorite home away from home! I'm currently working from home, so I will always be here during your pet's stay. If there is a time that I am away from home, it is usually no longer than 1-2 hours for errands or necessary appointments I have a sizable closed in patio where your dog can sit and enjoy the weather or sunbathe. The door will remain open at all times so they can choose when they're ready to come inside. If you prefer to crate your pet I have a crate available for use (just bring a pillow and blanket :) *I have 1 dog (Tinky) that will be in my home at all times.* The other dog attached to my profile will not be in the home, she is my sister's dog and is currently back home with her mommy :)

Stephanie was very kind and loving to our two dogs while we were on vacation in Florida. She played with them, cuddled, fed them and made sure they had water. We loved her pictures she took of our two doggies. It was a comfort knowing Stephanie was taking good care of our sweet dogs.
I had to find a new dog sitter after the one that I had moved and after seeing the reviews that Miranda had, I had zero doubt that she would do an amazing job and that is exactly what she did. Miranda went above and beyond and provided the care to my Zyra which gave me one less thing to worry about while I was having surgery in another state. Her communication was excellent and her experience taking care of dogs clearly showed.. If you need a dog sitter, I would highly recommend using Miranda. There is no one else we trust with our elderly dogs than Julie. We are so grateful for her kindness and attention to our sweet dogs when we are gone. We hate leaving them as they get older bc it can cause them stress but not with Julie. They aren’t stressed at all! THey have so much fun and are at ease when we get home.
