About: My whole life i’ve grown up with different kinds of dogs so i have lots of experience. I just love to spend time with these furry babies! I currently work part-time so I have more availability to play and care for your baby! I usually also have some help from my mom! I always make sure these pups are comfortable in my home, I have a spacious yard so they are able to play. I usually walk dogs at least 3 times a day. All dogs are welcome to sleep on beds and couches with no problem.

About: Hi! I’m Alyssa and I grew up with all the pets, which were mostly cats and medium-to-large dogs (a golden retriever, a mut, a doodle, a husky!). I also fostered 6 month+ old kittens for 2.5 years in college (15 total, and I only kept 5!). For my day job I teach preschool art. I have four cats myself whom I love very much! I am happy to come spend time with your fur babies and am able to walk and house sit part-time. I’m available afternoons and overnight (3 p.m. - 7 a.m.). I have four senior cats that all require special diets. Two and two are separated. One cat is medicated (not contagious/ kidney-related ). They all get fed (and the one medicated) twice a day. Between that and the litter boxes, it’s a daily routine. When I am pet sitting, my mom (and roomie!) takes care of the kitties. I can’t keep pets at my place because my cats are scaredy; but I’m happy to come house-sit at yours. I have a large spacious FENCED yard to provide essential exercise and play time. My dog is great with other dogs and loves playing! I will have lots of time to spend with your dog, as I am a stay at home mom. You can be at peace knowing your pup will be loved and well taken care of while you are away. I do have a 7 year old so I request that your dog be socialized and comfortable with children. My child follows basic safety rules with new dogs we meet. But if your dog has never been around children for an extended period of time, it’s probably best that another sitter handle your stay. Thank you! I work part time and have lots of free time for your pets. I have 4 pets of my own, an English Bulldog, a hound mix, and 2 cats, a husband and a child in highschool. I am a worry wart and will never let my guard down while caring for your pets. I am very comfortable with cats and dogs, and have had them my entire life. Due to working full-time at a veterinarian hospital, some planning may need to be done in advance, but otherwise we can work something out when needed. Madison was absolutely wonderful! This was our first time using a pet sitter and the experience was great. Chewy is a nervous little boy and through the pictures Madison sent we could see his progress daily. By the end of the week he looked just as happy to see her as he does us. 100% recommend!!!

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
