About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I'm passionate about providing safe, compassionate, and personalized care for every pet. I'm a third-year University of Georgia student majoring in Animal Biosciences on the pre-veterinary track. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for pets in both veterinary and boarding settings. Throughout high school, I worked as a kennel technician, caring for more than a dozen boarding dogs at a time. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, bathing, and administering oral and topical medications. I also earned a Fear Free Handling Certification, strengthening my ability to recognize and appropriately respond to both canine and feline body language. I'm currently an intern at a veterinary clinic, where I'm gaining hands-on experience with patient care while practicing medication and injection administration under veterinary supervision. I also regularly volunteer as a trainer with the Guide Dog Foundation, where I continue developing my skills in positive reinforcement and canine behavior. At home, I care for my own German Shepherd and Great Dane/Labrador mix, giving me extensive experience with large, energetic breeds and senior pet care. About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, and even chickens, which gave me a deep understanding of animal behavior and care from a young age. In recent years, I’ve personally raised and cared for my cat Skully and pittie puppy, Kora, taking on the day-to-day responsibilities that come with raising a happy, well-adjusted dog. I recently completed a puppy training program with Kora, where I learned hands-on training skills focused on basic obedience, leash walking, and positive reinforcement techniques. This experience has taught me patience, consistency, and how to adapt my approach to each dog’s unique personality and energy level. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize safety, clear communication, and creating a calm, positive experience for both pets and their owners. I work from home, which allows me to be flexible and attentive to your pet’s needs throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and extended care, and I’m free on weekends as well. My schedule allows me to provide reliable, consistent care and give pets the time and attention they deserve. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits and focus on keeping pets comfortable in their own home and neighborhood. On walks, I follow your dog’s usual routine, use positive reinforcement, and always prioritize safety. During drop-in visits, I take care of feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I’ll always send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing.
