“I couldn't be happier with the incredible care Kmer received! Yuliia & Igor have a big backyard where Kmer loved roaming around, and he also got plenty of great long walks. They kept me completely in the loop with photo updates and messages about how he was doing. Their 4-year-old son is absolutely amazing with dogs, one of my favorite moments was seeing a really cute picture of him laying on the floor right next to Kmer. Kmer also had a couple of accidents in their home, and they handled it with so much grace, patience, and understanding. Kmer came home completely worn out from all the fun and has been sleeping and resting ever since. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Kmer, i will absolutely be rebooking”

“Grateful, yet again for Alfonso’s services. He was flexible with the winter storms coming in. The one time Alfonso was not available to watch Lionel I found another dog sitter and Lionel did not do as well with her. I always try to book with Alfonso first.!!”

“Lin was great with Winnie! She provided consistent updates which really put me at ease knowing that he’s in good hands. I would 100% recommend and if I need a sitter in the future I won’t hesitate to rebook!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have years of experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m a dog mom myself, so I understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your pets. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual routine, personality, and needs, and I’m happy to provide plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and updates while you’re away. I’ll care for your pups like I would want someone to care for my own. I work from home full-time, which gives me a lot of flexibility and allows me to be home with your pets throughout the majority of the day. I can easily accommodate regular potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime, and lots of attention. Because I’m home so much, your pup won’t be spending long stretches of the day alone while staying with me. I have a fenced-in yard and a small friendly Yorkie of my own. I take introductions seriously and want every pet to feel safe and comfortable in my home. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, feeding schedule, crate preferences, and any specific instructions you provide. I also know how nerve racking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I’m happy to send regular pictures and updates so you know how they’re doing.
“Gunjan and Saurabh always take care of Jimmy with the best possible care. They are extremely responsive, and Jimmy loves staying at their place. We can’t think of any other place for Jimmy to stay when we are out. Recommended 1000%”

“This was our first booking with Teresa and we will absolutely book her again! I appreciated her updates with photos and videos. Our girls felt right at home and were so happy with all of the extra attention.”

“Talisya was absolutely AMAZING! she kept my dog for 3 nights. She kept me posted with photos of her and she made the whole process so easy and delightful. I’d recommend her to everyone I know!!!”

“Peyton is awesome! She took great care of our cocker spaniel on short notice. He was very happy at her house. She sent me photos every day. She is very reliable and responds quickly to request. I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for a nice place to leave your doggies!”

“Jennifer was caring and loving with my older dog and gave her the attention she needed. Appreciated her daughter playing with Pepper too and taking them for walks. Loved getting feedback everyday with a photo. We will be back!!!!”

“This was my second time having Dan watch my dog, and I was able to truly relax while on my extended vacation knowing he was in great hands and had wonderful company with Dan’s other dogs. My only regret is not finding her sooner!”

“I highly recommend Tyiesha! I needed last minute boarding for my dog Basie while I was away for 9 days, and she was able to take her on such short notice, which was so helpful. She was communicative throughout the stay, sent daily photos and videos, and always kept me updated on how Basie was doing. She was also incredibly kind, patient, and understanding, and I really appreciated it. I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Alpharetta
Mihye and her family are wonderful. I didn’t have to worry about my little sweet pea at all with them. Although, I missed him terribly. They took care of him like he was their own. This was my first time meeting them, but I feel like I know them. They are very kind. My pup even took a nap with their cat and he’s never been around cats. She sent the cutest photo of them napping together. The communication, photos, and videos were like presents every time they came. Please trust Mihye. She and her family are very good people and will take care of your little ones with ease.

Pedro was so great with Oliver! I love that Oliver had structured freedom and a big back yard to play in. Pedro is super nice and sent pics or videos almost daily and even helped re-train him to potty outside when he got confused being at a new house. Oliver and Bella, his dog hit it off after a few days and ended up sharing the same crate by the end. I will definitely use Pedro again. Thank you for taking such good care of Oliver while I was away!

10000000000% recommend this loving family to care for your furbaby. They assess each dogs needs and are very communicative, kind, considerate, and flexible. Dublin was happy, comfortable, and surrounded by care and support. The photos and updates were very encouraging and also sweet. I’m very grateful for these kind hearts!

Susan and her family were so incredible! My pup had an accident that hurt his leg the night before I was meant to drop him off. The vet prescribed meds for my dog and Susan was on top of it. Sent me updates. My dog unfortunately hadn’t improved and Susan took him to his vet and then the ER since that’s what the vet prescribed. She was so incredibly helpful through this experience! It was so hard to know my dog was at the ER while I was out of town, but Susan made me feel so good about him being in good hands.

Sara has taken wonderful care of our older dog Bucky in two occasions in the past year. She administered his meds, brushed his teeth, fed him according to my instructions, and sent frequent updates with photos and videos. Bucky did not want to leave her house, and clearly felt like he was always at home with her. She was also very flexible about pick up time when we returned from our trip the weekend of the ice storm. We will always book with Sara in the future now that our dog has a second home!

Birdie had a great time staying with Lorena for an extended weekend. Lorena was very responsive throughout the booking process, meet/greet, etc. and was excellent about providing daily updates and many pictures. Highly recommend her and Birdie will definitely be a repeat guest at some point in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
