“I had such a great experience with Min! She went above and beyond in caring for my dog—going on frequent walks, being super attentive to their needs, and making sure they got plenty of love and exercise. I especially appreciated how often she checked in and sent me tons of adorable photo updates. It gave me such peace of mind knowing my pup was in great hands. Highly recommend!”

“Jada was the best. She sent me photos without me having to ask and kept me updated. She sent me photos of Reese snuggling. It made me feel reassured that he was taken care of. I can be a worry queen when it comes to my dog, but she reassured me that he was in good hands. She was VERY flexible. I traveled out onstage and there was significant traffic that caused me to be delayed by several hours. I apologized and she accepted. She was very nice about the entire situation. Thank you Jada. 10/10 will return.”
“I’ve found someone I can trust with my fur baby! I’m so happy to have randomly found her on Rover. She’s been The best choice for us b/c she’s very reliable, flexible, safe and kind to our dog! What more could we ask for! My dog was happy in all the pictures she sent everyday and he was very happy when I picked him up! Will be using repeatedly!”

“Our little Sadie loves Melissa so much that she gets excited even before we’ve pulled on to her street! She is not only a natural with dogs, but her resident dogs are fun playmates too. Melissa is warm and easy going, quick to respond to questions/requests, and her home is very dog friendly. She walks the dogs outside and her backyard has lots of space for them to explore – which Sadie absolutely loves. She is also great at keeping us connected with texts & photos while we’re away. We’re so happy to have found someone we can trust to take great care of our pup!”

“Heather did amazing with our dog! We loved getting updates, especially since it was our first time leaving Atlas overnight in a while. I will definitely use Heather again!”

“Rhian is amazing. I had a last minute request and she was exceptionally accommodating, flexible while responding appropriately. During Lexii's stay, Rhian sent many updates and pictures. I Will absolutely use Rhian again. If you need someone to watch your pet, I know a gal, and her name is Rhian.”

“So happy to have found Hayeon! She took such great care of my 3.5 year old mini golden doodle while I was away. It was so helpful to have had a meet and greet prior so Winnie could see her place and become familiar beforehand. She was super responsive leading up to and during my trip and shared such great photos, videos and updates! I could tell Winnie was having a good time. I’ll definitely be reaching out again for future dog sitting needs.”

“AMY WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!! She watched shadow for 3 days and it was our first time with her. She was fairly new to house sitting but she did INCREDIBLE. Her family and her dogs are great! Will definitely book her again!”

“This was my first experience boarding my dog through this service and Michelle was exceptional. She is excellent with pets, and really cares for them like they are her own ans provides a safe and clean environment for the pups. She is an excellent communicator and kept me updated with various pictures and videos throughout the day for the duration of Murphy's stay. Halfway through the stay Murphy wasn't feeling well one day, and she let me know ASAP, and helped me set up an action plan if we needed to take her to the vet but thankfully she got better the next day( and several laundry loads later)! It was Overall a great experience and I know Murphy had a lot of fun and meeting new friends. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is considering her services.”

About: Anyone that knows me knows how much I love animals in general espiecially dogs. I am always the go to person when a friend needs someone to pet sit or simply come play with their animals. I am big on communication so I am open to last minute bookings. I care for pets as if they are my own. I am kind, knowledgeable, yet open to advice from owners. I care and as the owner you know your dog best. I am also very active with a lot of energy so never fret about dogs that are very excited and active because I have the energy to match. I am organized, responsible, friendly, and excited to meet you and your dog companion. Hope to hear from you! I work from home so my schedule is pretty open for walks and pet sitting. A 2 weeks notice is ideal but I am open to last minute situations because life happens. I have a playful dog that loves making friends. My living room is his play domain and my apartment complex comes with a dog park as well as plenty of room for walks.
“We had a wonderful experience with Stephanie! She was responsive from my initial outreach and friendly throughout. She and her family were very welcoming to Molly, and she provided regular updates about how things were going. I felt comfortable that Molly was in good hands the whole time, and we would happily let Molly stay with Stephanie again in the future.”

“Brenda was the best pup sitter ever! She took great care of our little doggie. She constantly sent photos of him while we were away. He looked so happy and consistently like he was having the best time. She made us feel relaxed on vacation, as we knew he was in really loving hands. When we went to pick him up, he was excited to see us, but also wanted to go back and play with Brenda. It was super cute! We will definitely be using Brenda again next time we go out of town!”

“I felt very comfortable leaving Frankie with Ashli. He had playmates and a fenced yard to roam around. Ashli sent pictures regularly. I plan to rebook with Ashli for future trips!”

“I cannot brag on Courtney enough! If you want a sitter to literally treat your dog like her own, you’ve found her. She is so sweet. Provided plenty of updates and videos my Mello! My dog was literally crying because he didn’t want to leave her 😂 He had a great time and this was the best experience I’ve had on Rover thus far with a sitter and with such short notice. Her dog is also a super sweet cutie and I’m pretty sure my dog missed him too. I’m adding her as ny top choice now! Will recommend and definitely return!”

“Ayanna was amazing! Our Foxy usually doesn't do well with fireworks so we were concerned, and Ayanna let us know that she did great! She kept us well informed with updates so we were able to breathe easy while away.”

“Got it! Here’s the updated version: “Fantastic experience with Ike! He took great care of my dog and kept me updated again. It was clear my dog was happy and comfortable. Highly recommend Ike for anyone needing a reliable and caring sitter!””

Melissa did a wonderful job with Scout! We had a meet and greet a few days before Scout stayed with her, and this made us feel very comfortable when Scout went to “camp”. Melissa sent a video of Scout playing with a couple of other dogs a few days into her stay. Fantastic experience!!

Anna was amazing with Bronnie! She was on top of making sure we had picture updates throughout the week and she made sure our boy was taken care of! Her pup, miller, seemed to have the best time with Bronnie and it made it so much more fun for him to have a friend to play with! We would absolutely use Anna again in the future :)

David was an amazing sitter, would give 10 stars if I could. Great communication and sent me plenty of pictures and videos. I was impressed with his ability to get my energetic dog to stop running and take a posed picture! Will definitely be using David in the future. Highly recommend.

Amy always takes such good care of Kona when I’m away. It’s so nice to find a local sitter that I can trust and who is so communicative. I always get the best photo and video updates which puts my heart at ease. Kona always comes back to me so well loved and taken care of. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great sitter :)

Karen has sat my older pittie maple twice now and has been great. She’s communicative and treats maple like her own. Maple can be stubborn on leash and hard to deal with on walks but Karen was able to handle it smoothly. Very grateful that maple was with Karen so I could enjoy my vacation. Highly recommend!

We left for a week long vacation and didnt want to board our dog that long so Chandni took him in and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was so nice knowing he was cozy and loved on while we were away! We'll definitely be sending him to camp Chandni again!

Another great stay. Stark looked comfortable, relaxed and seemed to enjoy Rahul’s company. Rahul responds promptly to our texts and takes amazing portraits of Stark :) I appreciate how accommodating Rahul is with schedules. Thanks for taking great care of Stark so I can travel peacefully!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
