“Wesley took great care of our dog! He was very communicative throughout the stay - we received prompt responses to all messages and he sent frequent updates with lots of photos.”

“Mackenzie and Ryan were absolutely lovely and made me feel so at ease while they took care of my sweet girl Izzy. They are so warm and friendly with an amazing backyard that had plenty of space for Izzy to run and play in. Their dog Astro is also a sweetie who is warmed up to immediately! Thank you both for taking such great care of my baby!”

“Excellent communication. She provided pictures and updates regularly. My pets are comfortable in her clean and very tidy home. Definitely will book pet sitting with Ashley again!”

“Colbi truly is an awesome sitter. Who communicates effectively and provides value not only in the care of your fur baby but their overall well being. Colbi provided updates via pictures and video. I highly recommend his service as your fur baby will be supported throughout their entire stay and you still feel connected to them. Thank you Colbi!”

“Edward was phenomenal, very accommodating and went above and beyond for us. Don't hesitate, dont search any further, he is the solution for your pet needs. I enjoyed images of the pet walks and field trips they took during the stay. His communication is top notch and immediate. We will absolutely book with Edward again.”

“Heather did amazing with our dog! We loved getting updates, especially since it was our first time leaving Atlas overnight in a while. I will definitely use Heather again!”

“We were so pleased with our service! Ebonnie kept our dog Foxy and she treated her super special. Our dog doesn't eat when we first drop her off. Ebonnie kept in contact with us regularly providing a status update. I love the Foxy was the only pet she kept, as our dog can be a bit kiddish around other animals. We absolutely loved Ebonnie!!!”

“AMY WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!! She watched shadow for 3 days and it was our first time with her. She was fairly new to house sitting but she did INCREDIBLE. Her family and her dogs are great! Will definitely book her again!”

About: I have had my own dog for 12 years! I love having pups over and he loves friends. I work from home and take great care of the babies: consistent food, water, tons of soft chewy toys, multiple walks a day, and lots of playing! As long as your pup is friendly and gets along with others, they’re more than welcome! I work from home and have my own dog. He loves friends and company. My dog is not neutered and is 12 years old. He is very loving and friendly. I believe in making the dogs feel comfortable and at ease. We will go out multiple 3+ times a day, walks around the neighborhood, food and water always available, tons of soft chewy toys. I allow the pups on the couch. They’ll be taken care of, always considered, and loved on always.
“Ling was clear and communicative, and very understanding. My sweet cat had a wonderful time in her care, and I would gladly book with her again and recommend her to anyone.”

“Amanda and Alexander took such wonderful care of our 6-year-old golden retriever, Doug, while we were away for a week. They sent multiple updates every day with lots of pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind and let us see how much fun he was having. Doug loved getting to play with their dog Reiko, and it was clear he was treated like part of the family. We never had to worry because we knew he was happy, safe, and incredibly well cared for. 😊 We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be booking with Amanda and Alexander again. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring, and communicative pet sitters!”

“She kept my son for about 4 days, kept me alert of everything he was doing & he looked like he put on a few pines when I picked him up so I know he ate good. When I came to get him he acted as if he didn’t want to leave so I know she took good care of him. Will be booking again, I highly recommend her services!”

“We left our cavalier King Charles with Ashli for 2 days while we were visiting from out of town. I think our dog was very happy, and Ashli sent lots of photos and videos to reassure us all was well. She really seems to know what she’s doing and made it work well for our pup to be there with 3 other little dogs.”

“Jada was great. My pup Bandit was happy and healthy when I picked him up. Jada sent regular updates while I was away to six days. I will definitely be asking her to sit again”

“Bianca took exceptional care of Pancho. She kept me updated throughout the stay with photos and videos, which gave me real peace of mind. This was my first time leaving him overnight, and I truly appreciated not only her professionalism but also her kindness and support with me as an owner. That made a big difference. I’m very grateful for the level of care she provided, and I’ve already booked her again for my next trip. Highly recommended.”

“Cannot say enough great things about Cheyenne! She was beyond accommodating and helpful when there were sudden hiccups in my plans for travel and I could not be more grateful! She provided daily updates with lots of great photos and treated Roxy just like she was one of her own.”

“Brenda and her family were absolutely wonderful! Ruby stayed with them for 5 days and I could tell that she was being well taken care of. I received multiple updates with photos and comments everyday and Ruby definitely was having the best time. I would 100% recommend Brenda and will most certainly be leaving Ruby with them again :)”

Anna was amazing with Bronnie! She was on top of making sure we had picture updates throughout the week and she made sure our boy was taken care of! Her pup, miller, seemed to have the best time with Bronnie and it made it so much more fun for him to have a friend to play with! We would absolutely use Anna again in the future :)

Amy always takes such good care of Kona when I’m away. It’s so nice to find a local sitter that I can trust and who is so communicative. I always get the best photo and video updates which puts my heart at ease. Kona always comes back to me so well loved and taken care of. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great sitter :)

Karen has sat my older pittie maple twice now and has been great. She’s communicative and treats maple like her own. Maple can be stubborn on leash and hard to deal with on walks but Karen was able to handle it smoothly. Very grateful that maple was with Karen so I could enjoy my vacation. Highly recommend!

We left for a week long vacation and didnt want to board our dog that long so Chandni took him in and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was so nice knowing he was cozy and loved on while we were away! We'll definitely be sending him to camp Chandni again!

Another great stay. Stark looked comfortable, relaxed and seemed to enjoy Rahul’s company. Rahul responds promptly to our texts and takes amazing portraits of Stark :) I appreciate how accommodating Rahul is with schedules. Thanks for taking great care of Stark so I can travel peacefully!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
