“We were so pleased with our service! Ebonnie kept our dog Foxy and she treated her super special. Our dog doesn't eat when we first drop her off. Ebonnie kept in contact with us regularly providing a status update. I love the Foxy was the only pet she kept, as our dog can be a bit kiddish around other animals. We absolutely loved Ebonnie!!!”

“Melissa was absolutely wonderful with my baby. I immediately knew that Mama was going to be in good hands at our initial meet n greet. Melissa is very professional and has a lot of experience. Melissa sent regular updates via text which was comforting. She also responds promptly to any questions. If you are looking for a safe, clean, and loving environment for your pet, Melissa is the way to go!”

“Joseph did an amazing job watching my two puppies while I was away on vacation. He sent lots of picture updates and kept me informed on how they were adjusting. It really put my mind at ease and my puppies really enjoyed being there. Definitely a 5/5 experience.”

“I’ve found someone I can trust with my fur baby! I’m so happy to have randomly found her on Rover. She’s been The best choice for us b/c she’s very reliable, flexible, safe and kind to our dog! What more could we ask for! My dog was happy in all the pictures she sent everyday and he was very happy when I picked him up! Will be using repeatedly!”

“Rhian is amazing. I had a last minute request and she was exceptionally accommodating, flexible while responding appropriately. During Lexii's stay, Rhian sent many updates and pictures. I Will absolutely use Rhian again. If you need someone to watch your pet, I know a gal, and her name is Rhian.”

“Michelle was absolutely incredible with Dolce—five stars across the board! She sent me detailed updates and adorable pictures every day, which gave me so much peace of mind because Dolce can be anxious in unfamiliar places. He warmed up to her so well, and it was clear from her thoughtful updates that she genuinely cared about him and spent quality time with him. She took amazing care of my little guy, and I will 100% book with her again and again!”

“Hayeon watched my frenchie this past weekend and everything went great! She is extremely friendly and sweet! Kept me updated the entire time, sent photos and videos, and did a phenomenal job caring for my baby. Will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“AMY WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!! She watched shadow for 3 days and it was our first time with her. She was fairly new to house sitting but she did INCREDIBLE. Her family and her dogs are great! Will definitely book her again!”

About: Anyone that knows me knows how much I love animals in general espiecially dogs. I am always the go to person when a friend needs someone to pet sit or simply come play with their animals. I am big on communication so I am open to last minute bookings. I care for pets as if they are my own. I am kind, knowledgeable, yet open to advice from owners. I care and as the owner you know your dog best. I am also very active with a lot of energy so never fret about dogs that are very excited and active because I have the energy to match. I am organized, responsible, friendly, and excited to meet you and your dog companion. Hope to hear from you! I work from home so my schedule is pretty open for walks and pet sitting. A 2 weeks notice is ideal but I am open to last minute situations because life happens. I have a playful dog that loves making friends. My living room is his play domain and my apartment complex comes with a dog park as well as plenty of room for walks.
“I cannot brag on Courtney enough! If you want a sitter to literally treat your dog like her own, you’ve found her. She is so sweet. Provided plenty of updates and videos my Mello! My dog was literally crying because he didn’t want to leave her 😂 He had a great time and this was the best experience I’ve had on Rover thus far with a sitter and with such short notice. Her dog is also a super sweet cutie and I’m pretty sure my dog missed him too. I’m adding her as ny top choice now! Will recommend and definitely return!”

“Ayanna was amazing! Our Foxy usually doesn't do well with fireworks so we were concerned, and Ayanna let us know that she did great! She kept us well informed with updates so we were able to breathe easy while away.”

“Every time our dog Hendrix stays with Heather, we know he is in good hands. Heather is extremely reliable and is sure to follow Hendrix’s care plan to a T. We had an unexpected emergency come up that required us to stay away for an extra night, and Heather was able and willing to keep Hendrix. It gave us such peace of mind during a very hectic time to know that Hendrix was well taken care of. We appreciate Heather’s frequent updates and patience with our pup!”

“Our second time booking with Stacey and we couldn’t be happier. Our dogs are happy and safe - she keeps us posted throughout their stay and even had a “doggie report” this time around recapping summaries of their stay. Would recommend again and again.”

“I couldn't be happier with Dianica as my cat sitter! This was my first time using Rover, and she was incredibly helpful in assisting me through the process and even helped me extend my kitten’s stay. Her place was spotless and well-equipped with cat amenities like her water fountain, which my two-month-old kitten loved. I have to get her one now. We were debating between her and someone a little closer, but all the good reviews led me to choose her, and it was definitely worth it. Dianica provided frequent updates, giving me peace of mind knowing my kitten was in good hands. It was clear my kitten enjoyed her time with Dianica and her cats. I highly recommend Dianica to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter!”

Melissa did a wonderful job with Scout! We had a meet and greet a few days before Scout stayed with her, and this made us feel very comfortable when Scout went to “camp”. Melissa sent a video of Scout playing with a couple of other dogs a few days into her stay. Fantastic experience!!

Anna was amazing with Bronnie! She was on top of making sure we had picture updates throughout the week and she made sure our boy was taken care of! Her pup, miller, seemed to have the best time with Bronnie and it made it so much more fun for him to have a friend to play with! We would absolutely use Anna again in the future :)

David was an amazing sitter, would give 10 stars if I could. Great communication and sent me plenty of pictures and videos. I was impressed with his ability to get my energetic dog to stop running and take a posed picture! Will definitely be using David in the future. Highly recommend.

Amy always takes such good care of Kona when I’m away. It’s so nice to find a local sitter that I can trust and who is so communicative. I always get the best photo and video updates which puts my heart at ease. Kona always comes back to me so well loved and taken care of. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great sitter :)

Karen has sat my older pittie maple twice now and has been great. She’s communicative and treats maple like her own. Maple can be stubborn on leash and hard to deal with on walks but Karen was able to handle it smoothly. Very grateful that maple was with Karen so I could enjoy my vacation. Highly recommend!

We left for a week long vacation and didnt want to board our dog that long so Chandni took him in and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was so nice knowing he was cozy and loved on while we were away! We'll definitely be sending him to camp Chandni again!

Another great stay. Stark looked comfortable, relaxed and seemed to enjoy Rahul’s company. Rahul responds promptly to our texts and takes amazing portraits of Stark :) I appreciate how accommodating Rahul is with schedules. Thanks for taking great care of Stark so I can travel peacefully!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
