I believe in making the dogs feel comfortable and at ease. We will go out multiple 3+ times a day, walks around the neighborhood, food and water always available, tons of soft chewy toys. I allow the pups on the couch. They’ll be taken care of, always considered, and loved on always.

Pet care experience
I have had my own dog for 12 years! I love having pups over and he loves friends. I work from home and take great care of the babies: consistent food, water, tons of soft chewy toys, multiple walks a day, and lots of playing! As long as your pup is friendly and gets along with others, they’re more than welcome!

I really do love leaving my dogs with Aaron, he keeps me updated at the most random times and he knows how to make them comfortable.
Aaron is so amazing. He took such wonderful care of my Shemitah. Shemitah is always skiddish when meeting someone new, but it did not take her long at all to warm up to Aaron. I was so grateful for how Aaron sent pictures and communicated with me, letting me know how great Shemitah was doing. I have already booked Aaron for my next trip. I highly recommend Aaron to watch your fur baby. You will be glad you did and so will your fur baby!!! Thank you, Aaron! 🥰

Aaron was great with copper and sent photos keeping us updated! Would love to use him to watch copper again in the future.

I had an extremely disappointing experience using Rover. I booked a sitter through Rover and gave one very clear instruction: my Cane Corso, Charcoal, was to be crated anytime the sitter left the house. The sitter admitted he chose not to follow that instruction because my dog had been behaving well and wasn’t damaging anything in the house. I had only been in Aruba for two days when, on the second day of my trip, I received the devastating call that my dog was missing. While the sitter was away at the grocery store, another dog attempted to get out, and Charcoal escaped as well. According to the sitter, Charcoal ran down the stairs, and he was unable to find him. I had to immediately cut my vacation short, lose money from my Aruba trip, pay for an emergency flight home, and spend additional money searching for my dog. My boyfriend also had to pay unexpected expenses, including my flight back to the U.S. and drone experts to assist in the search. All of this happened because the one safety instruction I gave, to crate my dog whenever the sitter left the house was ignored. Some guy reached out to the sitter on Nextdoor and said he’d love to locate my dog and that he had all the equipment to find him. He found where my my dog was located which was in the sitter apartment complex but couldn’t get hands on the dog. I was able to come from my Flight and get him myself. I told the sitter to look in the woods look in the trees he’s around there, he couldn’t Locate him. It had to take someone else to find him and me to grab him. What has been even more frustrating is what happened afterward. The sitter has not reimbursed me for any of the financial losses caused by this incident, and from my perspective, Rover has done very little to make the situation right. Although they communicated with me and offered flyers and information about their Guarantee, I learned that many of my out of pocket expenses including my interrupted trip and emergency travel costs were not covered. To make matters worse, the sitter’s Rover profile remained active while I was dealing with the aftermath of this incident. That was very concerning to me given that my dog escaped after the sitter knowingly chose not to follow the safety instructions I provided. I trusted Rover to connect me with someone who would care for my dog responsibly. Instead, one ignored instruction resulted in my dog going missing, significant emotional distress, and substantial financial losses. I strongly encourage EVERYONE considering Rover to carefully read the Rover Guarantee and understand exactly what is and is not covered before booking, and just simply NOT booking with Rover. I am incredibly grateful that Charcoal is finally home, but this experience is one I would never want another pet owner to go through.
