“Lucy had the best time at Diane’s! I was traveling to Hawaii and realized the day before leaving I wouldn’t be able to bring Lucy and she was able to accommodate us last minute! Lucy loved her porch and fenced yard. She had so much fun playing with her dog Coco! She sent pictures daily which I loved and looked forward to. It was hard to leave Lucy for a week but felt completely comfortable leaving her and will definitely book again! Thank you so much!! Lucy can’t wait to come back!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Stephanie! She was responsive from my initial outreach and friendly throughout. She and her family were very welcoming to Molly, and she provided regular updates about how things were going. I felt comfortable that Molly was in good hands the whole time, and we would happily let Molly stay with Stephanie again in the future.”

“My experience with Yulia and Igor was exceptional from start to finish. A few highlights include: very quick and constant communication from Yulia, accommodating drop off and pick up times, very large fenced in backyard, daily photo/video and text updates, and the whole family interacted with my dog. My dog was happy and tired when he got home. They are definitely my new go-to sitters.”

“Doug took great care of our pup. He always responded quickly from setting up a meet and greet to updates while he cared for my dog. He sent daily updates with photos and was flexible when I had to change the pick up time last minute. Happy to have found him on Rover and plan to use him in the future.”

“Pedro did a great job! Frank had an excellent stay and clearly enjoyed himself throughout the visit. Pedro kept us updated regularly with pictures and messages, which made it easy to relax knowing Frank was in good hands. It was especially nice to see Frank hanging out and getting along with Bella, Pedro’s beautiful and friendly malamute. The two of them seemed to have a great time together. Most importantly, Frank stayed safe, happy, and well cared for the entire time. We really appreciated Pedro’s attentiveness and communication, and we wouldn’t hesitate to leave Frank with him again.”

“Lori is absolutely amazing! When last-minute plans changed on me, she came through without hesitation. From the moment Ace met her, he was completely at ease — her warm, nurturing energy spoke for itself, and that’s all I needed to feel confident he was in great hands. Throughout the day, Lori sent photos and updates that truly put my mind at ease. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way for a pet parent! If you’re looking for a sitter who genuinely cares, look no further. Lori, you’re the best — we’ll definitely be back! 🐾🤗”

About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have experience with puppies, energetic adults and senior dogs, including administering medications, accommodating mobility limitations, and providing the extra patience and attention older dogs deserve. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog in the care of someone new- I myself never allowed anyone but family to watch over my dog, Aleu, so I truly know what it feels like to want someone who will treat them like family. Every dog has a unique personality and routine, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable, safe and loved. Whether your pup loves long walks, endless games of fetch, or simply curling up for quiet cuddles, I’ll make sure they receive the same kindness, affection and individualized care I would want for my own dog. I am currently the General Manager of a local restaurant in downtown Roswell. The hours can be long BUT I am so lucky to live on the same street that I work on! My coworkers were always incredibly accommodating when it came to checking on my pup for potty breaks, feedings and walks, especially when her health needed additional attention. They know how much I adore dogs and will be just as forgiving if I need to run out to check on your pup too! My schedule can be tight, I will be honest. But I miss taking care of my best friend and I have a lot of love to give, so I am happy to rearrange my calendar in order to share the love with your pup too. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions, keep routines as consistent as possible, and provide regular updates with photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. Caring for my senior dog taught me that every stage of a dog’s life deserves patience, compassion and unconditional love. So, whether I’m caring for your pup in my home or yours, I’ll ensure they have a clean, secure, low-stress environment filled with patience, affection, playtime and plenty of attention. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable from the moment we meet until you’re reunited.
About: I've had dogs my whole life and currently I’m a full‑time work‑from‑home mom, which means I’m always present and available to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. I care for my own dogs daily, so I’m used to maintaining routines, monitoring behavior, and making sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and loved. We have a large private fenced backyard where dogs can play, explore, and get their energy out safely. I’m very attentive to keeping fresh, clean water available at all times — especially during Georgia’s hot summers — and I’m always checking in on pets to make sure they’re hydrated, comfortable, and happy. I’m patient, gentle, and detail‑oriented, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my family. Whether your dog needs playtime, cuddles, structure, or a calm environment, I’m here to provide reliable, loving care. I work from home full‑time, so pet care is naturally part of my daily routine. I take regular breaks to let the dogs out, refresh water, and give them supervised playtime in our fenced backyard. Pets are rarely alone, and I can easily adjust my schedule to match their needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Pets are rarely left alone and always have supervised time both indoors and outdoors. We maintain a calm, clean, pet‑friendly home where dogs can relax, play, and feel secure. We have a large fully fenced private backyard, which allows for safe outdoor play without the risk of wandering or exposure to unfamiliar animals. Inside the home, pets have access to comfortable resting areas, cool spaces during warm weather, and a peaceful environment with no overcrowding. I’m attentive to each dog’s needs, whether that means slow introductions, quiet time, or extra affection. If your doggy shows stress, we have doggy gates to separate him/her from others and will minimize anxiety by providing a cozier comfort area with lots of love. I keep a close eye on behavior, hydration, and comfort throughout the day. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and completely at home while you’re away.
“Thank you Rhian. She was amazing with my dog Peaches. Sent updates while we were away. Picked up sitting got her last minute. I would definitely recommend her to anybody. Thank you again :)”

“Brooke and her dog Pumpkin were the sweetest! Juno is usually very shy around other dogs and takes time to warm up, but she didn't have any issues warming up to Pumpkin. Seeing how pumpkin is such a great dog I could tell immediately how Brooke takes a great care of her dog, and she for sure did the same for Juno! She is so communicative , sends tons of pictures and videos which we all know we love. Pickups and drop offs were so easy as well - I will definitely having her taking care of my dog again!”

“Talisya was absolutely AMAZING! she kept my dog for 3 nights. She kept me posted with photos of her and she made the whole process so easy and delightful. I’d recommend her to everyone I know!!!”

“Sean and Honey were great to our Ellie. I can always tell she was treated well by how quickly and how long she sleeps when she gets back home! My only critique would be that Ellie was not given her Apoquel, but luckily it rained mostly so kept the allergies at bay! Would use again and do recommend!!”

“I would happily leave my pup with Cynthia and her family again! She took time when I first dropped Athena off to help her be comfortable. Nothing was rushed. She was very communicative for the entirety of my trip.”

“Ferguson had a wonderful time with Rachel. Rachel is very communicative and sent multiple pictures, reports, and videos of Ferguson's time in her home. We appreciate all the outside time, walks, and pics of Ferguson, who looked quite happy and active.”

“Allura was so amazing with otis! He came back a happy sweet boy who had lots of fun and tummy rubs. Allura kept me updated and she worked really well with me while I was booking her. Definitely would recommend her for she’s ALSO very sweet and informative.”

“This was Ginny's first stay with Elizabeth - for 7 days - and all went so well - Ginny ended up being a stellar guest. I'm sure its because Elizabeth and her husband and family are pros at petsitting. They know a lot about dog behavior and their interactions. Ginny needs a sitter with the confidence to be the leader in their home so that she can relax and let the separation anxiety subside. Also, Ginny will break a rule or two when visiting someone else's home, and it was wonderful to hear that she didn't even try. Ginny met other dogs and played. I feel like she was very well taken care of.”

About: I started walking dogs for neighbors as a way to get in extra exercise on the weekends and ended up loving it! Other neighbors saw and soon after inquired for weekend walks! I’ve dog sit for friends and family members whenever they’d go off on vacation or away for work trips. I have experience with dogs with anxiety, blindness, and puppies! I’m an apprentice searching for a fun, outdoorsy, active side gig to get me out of the house in the mornings! I’m available most mornings7-11! I treat all pets as if they’re apart of my own family, because they are -woof-! I’ve cared for elderly pets, and puppies and understand that not all pets are the same, some require more time to gain trust while others are more outgoing; some need a 5 minute break to relax mid walk, while others are high energy the entire time through! I’ve experienced it all and look forward to working with you and your pet!
“Nicole was amazing with our Cherry girl! She sent daily updates and was the perfect home for her on our weekend away. We have friends with dogs and we have already recommended Nicole for a pet sitter to them!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Roswell
Madeline is a wonderful dog sitter! Our dog, Penny, came home from her 5-night stay happy, well cared for, and tired from all of her play time with Madeline’s dog, Mocha! I received many photos of Penny during her stay. She looked very comfortable and well-adjusted. I could tell that Madeline and her husband gave Penny lots of love during her stay. Also, Madeline was so accommodating for our drop off/pick up times, especially when our flight was delayed. We will definitely rebook!

Maria took wonderful care of our dog, Pudge, who was dealing with a leg issue. She made sure Pudge was well cared for and happy. She also sent lots of pictures, which gave us peace of mind and let us see how much fun Pudge was having. We really appreciated her communication and dedication, and we'd be happy to book with her again!

Alfonso did a great job watching Rambo, our newly rescued husky. This was our first time to board him with anyone, so I wanted to make sure and choose someone I felt comfortable with. Alfonso welcomed us in during the meet and greet and showed us his home and backyard. During the boarding, he sent pics, sometimes several times a day. He took Rambo on walks on the walking path by his house, and Rambo seemed happy and calm when we picked him up. We would certainly feel comfortable boarding our dog with Alfonso again.

Sean and Honey were great to our Ellie. I can always tell she was treated well by how quickly and how long she sleeps when she gets back home! My only critique would be that Ellie was not given her Apoquel, but luckily it rained mostly so kept the allergies at bay! Would use again and do recommend!!

I can highly recommend Elisa, she has taken care of my Yorkshire terrier for many stays over almost 8 years and we've always had a great experience and been comfortable knowing our doggy was in safe hands. She's super reliable and dependable, professional, conscientious and caring for my pup like one of her family. Highly recommend!!
Birdie had a great time staying with Lorena for an extended weekend. Lorena was very responsive throughout the booking process, meet/greet, etc. and was excellent about providing daily updates and many pictures. Highly recommend her and Birdie will definitely be a repeat guest at some point in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
