“María was great to work with! She was very responsive, so sweet with my pup, Winnie, and sent pics throughout her stay! It was so helpful to do a meet and greet before so she and Winnie could get to know each other too. Would definitely use her again in the future!”

“I had a great experience with Amanda. She was incredibly attentive and communicative the entire time. She sent plenty of pictures and regular updates, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. It was clear my dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly appreciated how thoughtful and reliable she was, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Pedro took a great care about our husky Cherry. We met ahead of the booking to make sure Bella and Cherry would get along. And it worked out great. They developed a great friendly bond. Pedro sent me updates ( photos and videos) daily, and it made me feel confident that our furry family member was in good hands. We would definitely come back.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and currently I’m a full‑time work‑from‑home mom, which means I’m always present and available to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. I care for my own dogs daily, so I’m used to maintaining routines, monitoring behavior, and making sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and loved. We have a large private fenced backyard where dogs can play, explore, and get their energy out safely. I’m very attentive to keeping fresh, clean water available at all times — especially during Georgia’s hot summers — and I’m always checking in on pets to make sure they’re hydrated, comfortable, and happy. I’m patient, gentle, and detail‑oriented, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my family. Whether your dog needs playtime, cuddles, structure, or a calm environment, I’m here to provide reliable, loving care. I work from home full‑time, so pet care is naturally part of my daily routine. I take regular breaks to let the dogs out, refresh water, and give them supervised playtime in our fenced backyard. Pets are rarely alone, and I can easily adjust my schedule to match their needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Pets are rarely left alone and always have supervised time both indoors and outdoors. We maintain a calm, clean, pet‑friendly home where dogs can relax, play, and feel secure. We have a large fully fenced private backyard, which allows for safe outdoor play without the risk of wandering or exposure to unfamiliar animals. Inside the home, pets have access to comfortable resting areas, cool spaces during warm weather, and a peaceful environment with no overcrowding. I’m attentive to each dog’s needs, whether that means slow introductions, quiet time, or extra affection. If your doggy shows stress, we have doggy gates to separate him/her from others and will minimize anxiety by providing a cozier comfort area with lots of love. I keep a close eye on behavior, hydration, and comfort throughout the day. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and completely at home while you’re away.
“Kelsey was AMAZING! My dog had a blast and the updates/photos were very much so appreciated. I was amazed to find a beautiful painting of my dog when cleaning out his bag. It is something I will cherish forever! I am literally thinking of reasons to send Roosevelt to camp Kelsey again soon!”

“Dawn and Steve are great! Very responsive and agreed to a meet and greet beforehand to provide me, a first timer, with comfortability that everything was a good fit. Good, clear, quick communication. Sent daily pictures which I liked. Definitely recommend them.”

“Thank you for providing Benji a home away from home! He had so much fun and close bonds. We enjoyed all the communications, pictures and videos featured Benji star😀.”

“Natalie is absolutely amazing. Cinco is always so excited whenever I drop him off and doesn’t want to leave when I pick him up. There is no greater feeling than knowing your fur baby is in good hands. If you’re looking for someone who’s going to treat your pet like their own, Natalie is the perfect person. Thank you Natalie!”

“We could not be more comfortable and happy with Ta’Bijah’s care. Bea is always excited to see her! Ta’Bijah makes it feel like we’re leaving our sweet girl with family. Thank you for always treating our girl so well!”

About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover who recently said goodbye to my beloved terrier mix after raising him from puppyhood through his senior years. I’ve volunteered at shelters, pet sat for friends and family, and am comfortable administering medications. My husband and I are raising the next generation of dog lovers — our 4-year-old is learning how to be a responsible pet owner and loves helping teach dogs basic obedience and tricks. We know what dogs need because we genuinely live it. We are flexible to your dog's needs (I can take them for a run, or snuggle them on the couch), and we're comfortable with adult dogs and seniors, we are attuned to their unique needs. We are excited to welcome your pup to their home away from home. I work from home during the week and we enjoy weekends at home with our kids. So your pup will always have a human nearby. We live 10 minutes from a park and are happy to have your dog join us on our weekend strolls to the park. We build pet care naturally into our daily routine. Weekdays and weekends both work well for me. Your dog will be safe in our fully fenced backyard, complete with sunny spots, shady patches, and soft grass. My remote work situation means I can keep a close eye on all my charges and means they will have limited alone time. I’m experienced with seniors, medications, crating if needed, and keeping dogs happy and comfortable. We have two young children (4 and 1) and enforce respectful boundaries for both children and pups—but we ask our four-legged guests to be kid friendly.
“I’m very thankful for the hospitality, love, and care that my furry little ones had in this house. I will surely be needing these services again and will 100% be recommending ❤️”

“River is our first pet . Anna and family are awesome I have no words to say more than thanks for taking care of our 6 months old kitten . She shared all the updates along with pics and her activities at home . Definitely I am going take Anna help again and again .”

“Chrissy and Winston deserve more than 5 stars! They are like a second home to Apollo and he loves staying with them. Thank you for always treating him like family!”

“Let me start by saying, I’m always nervous the first time Carlin is with a new Sitter, because he’s clingy and gets crazy separation anxiety. But David and Georgia were great! He did have a couple of moments, but they communicated very well and kept me updated. He actually was not ready to leave when I picked him up. ☺️ That’s always a good sign! We will definitely be using them, again and again.”

“We are very happy that our pup was in great care. Yulia and Igor were so attentive and took care of sky with ease. They updated about sky everyday with little notes and send us a picture and videos of how she was doing. We are very happy we found you guys. We will definetely book with you guys again.”

“Edward (and his dog Julio) took such great care of my furbaby! He was very fast to respond, sent regular picture and text updates, and made sure that our dog was well-acclimated to his home and felt comfortable during her stay. I wouldn't hesitate to rebook with Edward and I'm sure I will very soon! I trusted him to take good care of our dog and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and overall great dog sitter!”

“This was a somewhat last-minute request, and I truly lucked out with Cynthia! She made Xavier feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. She sent multiple updates each day, which gave me so much peace of mind, and it was obvious that Xavier had an absolute blast during his stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!”

Rachel is an incredible sitter. Our dog truly had a great time and was incredibly well taken care of. Our dog is older and we worried about sending her to normal boarding - Rachel was hyper communicative and very responsive. We got lots of updates and we knew our dog would be safe and happy. We will 100% book with Rachel again!!!

We had our two cats boarding with Laila for 2 weeks because of our vacation. When I went back yesterday to take them home they were very particular they didn't want to leave Laila’s home and complained throughout the ride back. Thats the level of wonderful comfort and love they got from Laila. She is a top boarder and is highly recommended!! Thank you so much Laila!!

Alfonso did a great job watching Rambo, our newly rescued husky. This was our first time to board him with anyone, so I wanted to make sure and choose someone I felt comfortable with. Alfonso welcomed us in during the meet and greet and showed us his home and backyard. During the boarding, he sent pics, sometimes several times a day. He took Rambo on walks on the walking path by his house, and Rambo seemed happy and calm when we picked him up. We would certainly feel comfortable boarding our dog with Alfonso again.

Sean and Honey were great to our Ellie. I can always tell she was treated well by how quickly and how long she sleeps when she gets back home! My only critique would be that Ellie was not given her Apoquel, but luckily it rained mostly so kept the allergies at bay! Would use again and do recommend!!

María was great to work with! She was very responsive, so sweet with my pup, Winnie, and sent pics throughout her stay! It was so helpful to do a meet and greet before so she and Winnie could get to know each other too. Would definitely use her again in the future!

I can highly recommend Elisa, she has taken care of my Yorkshire terrier for many stays over almost 8 years and we've always had a great experience and been comfortable knowing our doggy was in safe hands. She's super reliable and dependable, professional, conscientious and caring for my pup like one of her family. Highly recommend!!
Birdie had a great time staying with Lorena for an extended weekend. Lorena was very responsive throughout the booking process, meet/greet, etc. and was excellent about providing daily updates and many pictures. Highly recommend her and Birdie will definitely be a repeat guest at some point in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
