“Another great experience with Elizabeth!! This time we brought Frankie and his new little brother, Louie, so it was double the puppy trouble for her! 🤪 She handled them beautifully tho, tolerated Frank’s diva moods and loved on our little Lou- it was his first time away from us! They are tired now that we are home but seem happy and not stressed at all! She tolerated my neurotic dog mom list of ‘instructions’ and all the gear I brought (huge kennel 😝) and did her very best to keep their routine as close to home as she could. Frankie and Louie got to cuddle on the family couch, lounge in the sun on the deck, even meet new friends and play with other visiting pups! She also takes amazing photos every day- made my boys look like dog magazine models! 🤩 They always looked settled in and calm and the updates made me comfortable- I was easily able to relax on my vacation. Do not hesitate to book with this family- your babies will be safe and well loved on!”

“Pilar was absolutely amazing! We found her 2 days before our trip and she was very accommodating. Kept us up to date with pictures and videos every day! Would definitely use her again!”

“Omg it was the best feeling for Ms Joni to care for my senior dog. Such a warm feeling knowing my baby was cared for by someone who has a great appreciation for our fur babies! 10/10 highly recommend!”

“My dog was in the best care with him , he updated me with not only text messages but pictures also and ensured me my dog was very well taken care of and active :) will definitely book again !!”

“Michelle and Trenton really treated our pup as if he was their own! The daily updates, videos and pictures were so appreciated and you could tell he felt so happy and safe! They were also so accommodating when we had some last minute travel changes. Will definitely be sending our dog here again whenever we need a sitter/boarding!”
“I was worried about leaving my dog with a stranger for no reasons other than pet parent anxiety. Shea and Brandon were absolutely wonderful, they eased my worries from the jump. They were able to pick up my nala on short notice and stayed communicative throughout the stay. I will definitely be booking again anytime i need someone to keep Nala Banana.”

“Grace was one of our favorite Rover sitters for Leo. From the moment we met her, we knew that she would take incredible care of him. She is very warm, friendly, patient, and passionate about dogs. She made us feel very welcome when we first met her and ensured that Leo would be her priority. She continued to send us updates of how Leo was doing when we were out of town and that made us feel at ease. She treated Leo like her own and took him to the parks and various errands around town. We would love to continue to have Grace watch Leo the next time we are traveling. We would recommend her to anyone!”

“Kelsey was AMAZING! My dog had a blast and the updates/photos were very much so appreciated. I was amazed to find a beautiful painting of my dog when cleaning out his bag. It is something I will cherish forever! I am literally thinking of reasons to send Roosevelt to camp Kelsey again soon!”

“Our second time using Brenda and she was amazing! Our pup loves staying with her and we feel at ease knowing he’s having fun and comfortable while we are away with lots of pictures!”

“Oh wow- where do I begin—I have 3 dogs- each with their own personality of course- they are all spoiled (they are our babies). We went for the meet and greet and the backyard is perfect for dogs- Erin is kind and reassuring- she gets dogs and their owners. We had never left the dogs before- I was nervous- them then the first set of pictures came- when I saw my small dog on the couch and 3 kids to pet the dogs I knew they were fine- they each had a set of hands to rub them. This was a fantastic experience- my dogs were taken care of the way I would have cared for them. I highly recommend Erin. I can’t sing enough praises and gratitude.”

“Kim was great with Maddie! She kept me updated with pictures throughout her stay, and communication was excellent the whole time. It was clear Maddie was well cared for, and I felt completely at ease while she was with Kim. I highly recommend her!”

“Christal was wonderful in taking care of my pet, Eywa! She shared pictures every day and kept me updated on how Eywa was doing, which gave me great peace of mind. When I picked Eywa up, I could tell she had a wonderful vacation and had been very well taken care of. I would definitely board Eywa with Christal again. Highly recommend her!”

“Keleigh gave the best updates to let us know that Avett was doing well each day! We knew it was a perfect fit even before the stay just based on other recommendations for her, prompt communication and a successful meet and greet with her pups. She definitely was able to thoroughly entertain our energetic boy despite a rainy and cold weekend. We would love to book Keleigh again sometime for any trips!”

Sean was fantastic with our dog Charlie during his stay. From the moment we booked, his communication was clear, consistent, and reassuring. Our pup didn't have any issues at all with Honey (Sean's dog) considering that Charlie was not a socialized dog. Sean sent regular updates and photos, and it was obvious Charlie felt comfortable, engaged, and well cared for. We came home to a happy pup. We’d absolutely trust Sean again for future trips — highly recommended.

I can highly recommend Elisa, she has taken care of my Yorkshire terrier for many stays over almost 8 years and we've always had a great experience and been comfortable knowing our doggy was in safe hands. She's super reliable and dependable, professional, conscientious and caring for my pup like one of her family. Highly recommend!!
Birdie had a great time staying with Lorena for an extended weekend. Lorena was very responsive throughout the booking process, meet/greet, etc. and was excellent about providing daily updates and many pictures. Highly recommend her and Birdie will definitely be a repeat guest at some point in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
