About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have experience with puppies, energetic adults and senior dogs, including administering medications, accommodating mobility limitations, and providing the extra patience and attention older dogs deserve. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog in the care of someone new- I myself never allowed anyone but family to watch over my dog, Aleu, so I truly know what it feels like to want someone who will treat them like family. Every dog has a unique personality and routine, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable, safe and loved. Whether your pup loves long walks, endless games of fetch, or simply curling up for quiet cuddles, I’ll make sure they receive the same kindness, affection and individualized care I would want for my own dog. I am currently the General Manager of a local restaurant in downtown Roswell. The hours can be long BUT I am so lucky to live on the same street that I work on! My coworkers were always incredibly accommodating when it came to checking on my pup for potty breaks, feedings and walks, especially when her health needed additional attention. They know how much I adore dogs and will be just as forgiving if I need to run out to check on your pup too! My schedule can be tight, I will be honest. But I miss taking care of my best friend and I have a lot of love to give, so I am happy to rearrange my calendar in order to share the love with your pup too. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions, keep routines as consistent as possible, and provide regular updates with photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. Caring for my senior dog taught me that every stage of a dog’s life deserves patience, compassion and unconditional love. So, whether I’m caring for your pup in my home or yours, I’ll ensure they have a clean, secure, low-stress environment filled with patience, affection, playtime and plenty of attention. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable from the moment we meet until you’re reunited.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I'm passionate about providing safe, compassionate, and personalized care for every pet. I'm a third-year University of Georgia student majoring in Animal Biosciences on the pre-veterinary track. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for pets in both veterinary and boarding settings. Throughout high school, I worked as a kennel technician, caring for more than a dozen boarding dogs at a time. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, bathing, and administering oral and topical medications. I also earned a Fear Free Handling Certification, strengthening my ability to recognize and appropriately respond to both canine and feline body language. I'm currently an intern at a veterinary clinic, where I'm gaining hands-on experience with patient care while practicing medication and injection administration under veterinary supervision. I also regularly volunteer as a trainer with the Guide Dog Foundation, where I continue developing my skills in positive reinforcement and canine behavior. At home, I care for my own German Shepherd and Great Dane/Labrador mix, giving me extensive experience with large, energetic breeds and senior pet care. You can expect dependable communication, regular photo updates, and attentive, individualized care tailored to your pet's unique needs. I have a flexible schedule around my part-time veterinary clinic internship and will do my best to accommodate your pet's needs. Feel free to reach out to discuss availability. I’m happy to work with owners to find a schedule that works for everyone. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I'll carefully follow your care instructions, maintain your pet's routine, and treat your home with the same respect I'd expect for my own. You'll receive regular photo updates and clear communication, so you can feel confident your pet is in caring, reliable hands.

About: I’ve cared for my family, friends, and neighbors’ pets since I was about 10 years old. I have spent lots of time feeding, grooming, playing, and cleaning up after dogs and cats. I even led a community service project at a local adoption center! I recently graduated from UGA and have moved back home to Roswell! I do work approximately 30 hours per week, typically midday, but my schedule should become consistent in the future. Outside of work, my schedule is very flexible! I am happy to play with pets in the yard or take them for a walk around the neighborhood! I always make sure to use a leash. I can also crate pets when necessary. I also understand how to interact with pets who may be timid, scared, or fearful of new people and certain situations.

She paid close attention to his needs and spent quality time giving him cuddles and attention. She also sent daily pictures and updates, which meant so much while I was away. Her communication was excellent from start to finish, and it was clear she genuinely cared about my cat’s well-being. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for kitty. I would absolutely book with Kristina again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate pet sitter!”

About: I’ve always loved taking care of animals! I have been a dog walker since I was 12 years old. I have done several week long dog sitting gigs that included walking, feeding, cleaning, and general care. I’ve received great reviews and been asked to come back! :) Right now, I work a remote 9 to 5 where I am flexible to make a quick drop ins, and I am always free in the early mornings and weekends. I always make sure to have the upmost respect for my client’s living space and home, as well as giving their animals the absolute best care possible! I always make sure to follow instructions exactly and give updates about their babies, if welcome!
About: Hi there pet parents! Looking for drop-in visits or walking services in the Roswell area? I’m your girl! I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience working with animals. I worked on a horse farm through high school and college. I cared for over 40 horses daily, along with a few cats and dogs. I’ve owned my own horse since I was 13. I currently have three dogs of my own: a corgi/pit bull, a corgi/husky mix, and a yellow lab. My family always had both cats and dogs while I was growing up, so I am comfortable around both! I am willing to work with any breed or size. I am also a runner, so long walks with your pup are no problem! Need someone to bring in your mail and water your plants? I can do that too! I'm available daily M-F for lunchtime walks. I'm available for overnight pet sitting upon request. I'm currently a freelance marketing professional with a flexible schedule, so I can accommodate most requests. I have a fenced-in yard with three friendly dogs who love new friends. We crate our dogs when we are out of the house, and I'm happy to set up a crate for a visitor. I'm also comfortable caring for your pup in your home so they can maintain their routine.
About: I have been around pets my entire life specifically cats and dogs. Family and friends have trusted me to take care of their fur babies whether that meant feeding, walking, bathing, etc and I was more than happy to do it. Although this is a part time job for me I make it a priority because it is something that brings joy to my days and it means being helpful and bringing joy to a pets day as well! Any pet that I am around will be safe and taken care of 110%. I will keep an eye on them constantly, provide them with fun, care, and spend quality time with them in areas that I know they feel most comfortable in. I will priortize your pets needs above anything else!

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural and rewarding part of my life. I’ve also had plenty of experience watching family members’ pets, making sure they’re well cared for, comfortable, happy, and getting plenty of love and attention. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, feeding, keeping them company, or simply giving them some extra cuddles, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home while their family is away. 🐾❤️ I’m available for pet care on weekdays after 4 PM, making evenings a great time for walks, drop-ins, and plenty of playtime and attention. I’m also available on weekends and can offer boarding, giving your pet a comfortable and loving place to stay while you’re away. I want every pet who stays with me to feel like they’re on a little vacation of their own. Somewhere safe, peaceful, and full of love. My home has plenty of spacious indoor and outdoor areas where pets can relax, play, explore, and enjoy some fresh air. I’ll fill their days with gentle walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of quiet time to nap and unwind. I love giving pets the freedom to be themselves while making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and never lonely. I do not have a dog or cat of my own and am hoping to get some animal interacting this way until I’m able to get an animal of my own! 🐶🐱🌸

About: I have been around animals my entire life! Growing up, I had eight cats and two dogs. I truly believe animals are like little people and deserve the same care, attention, and love. Animals understand so much of what is happening around them, and I always strive to make every experience positive and comforting. I’m also a child behavior therapist, which has strengthened my patience, empathy, and understanding of individual needs. I am a dance and Theatre teacher, I work after school hours (2:30-8pm) and on Saturdays 9-4 however my schedule fluctuates a lot due to me being a contract worker, so I can make almost anything work! I have a camera I will be monitoring your pet on while I’m at work. The room your pet will be staying in is spacious and completely their own! It’s safe, clean, and cozy, with a bed in case your furry friend wants someone to cuddle or sleep with. I also have plenty of cat toys and dog toys to share so they can have fun and feel right at home!

I’m currently not working, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m generally available throughout the week. Shelby was absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of our dogs while we were away and gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were happy, safe, and well loved. The photos she sent throughout the week were so reassuring, our dogs looked happy, relaxed, and clearly loved spending time with her. She also went above and beyond by keeping an eye on our house and was even able to help us with an extra day at the last minute, which we truly appreciated. Shelby was reliable, communicative, and genuinely cared about our pets. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her!

Mya was wonderful with Devon! She took him on long walks, which are his favorite, and even gave him some of his favorite treats. She continuously checked in with me so I could see him, and anytime I did he was always looking happy! Mya was very playful with my dog and kept him company while I was out of town! 10/10 would recommend and would choose as a dog sitter again!
We try to book with Anne anytime we are out of town. Anne is wonderful with our senior cat and medicating her, keeping her specific daily routine, and also at entertaining our other kitten. She’s also very communicative of how the kitties are doing. Gives great peace of mind to have someone so great take care of our sweet kitties!

I can’t say enough good things about Melanie and how she took care of Marley and Boomer while I was gone. She was super responsive, and ask great questions when she came over for the meet and greet which made me immediately comfortable with leaving my cats in her care. She sent me daily pictures and even left puppy cartoons on and the light on for my return. I will definitely use Melanie again in the future!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
