“I can't thank Allison enough! She was incredibly reliable and provided exceptional care for my puppy, Cheeni. I always felt at ease knowing Cheeni was in her capable hands, and the frequent updates were so appreciated. highly recommend Allison to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter.”

“This was Missy's first time with Kristina. We were kept posted on how Missy was fitting in, and she sent reassuring pictures. We look forward to using Kristina's services in the future and have, in fact, already booked a more extensive stay. It went well; we were very pleased with Kristina.”

“Veronica always took great care of Aster. Aster wagged her tail really excitedly when she saw Veronica, knowing that she was in one of her favorite places to visit. We always confirmed our visit the day before. She sent cute pictures of Aster playing with the balls and cuddling with the kids, and Aster's funny activities throughout the day. I cannot thank her enough of her hospitality and care for Aster, and will continue to have her watched Aster when we are not home.”

“Xuizhen is soooo loving toward Ginny and greets her every Tuesday like a long lost friend. Ginny loves playing with Goofy - and the spoiling she gets from Xuizhen and her family. 5 stars for sure!”

About: Dogs hold a special place in my heart — especially rescue pups. My own dog was rescued from Kosovo, so I know firsthand the patience, love, and extra TLC that rescued dogs sometimes need. For 10 years, I’ve been the go-to person for walks, feeding, bathing, and all-around tail-wagging good times. Shy, anxious, or high-energy — I’ve loved them all. I don’t just watch dogs, I get them. Expect real-time photo updates, happy zoomies, and one very tired, very content pup waiting for you when you’re back! I work from home full-time, which means your pup is never left alone! I’m available for walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the entire day — mornings, afternoons, evenings, you name it. Flexible scheduling is my middle name. Your dog will feel right at home with me! I have a spacious yard where pups can run and explore freely. I also have an 11-year-old dog of my own — a calm, gentle companion who’s great with visitors. The yard is not fenced, so I always supervise outdoor time closely to make sure every pup stays safe and sound. Your dog’s safety is never left to chance!
“Scott and Elizabeth have been phenomenal with our two dogs! They seem to have a great time and it makes a huge difference knowing we can drop them off for the day somewhere safe and they’ll be cared for. 😀”

“Rachel was super sweet and sent me the cutest pictures of Daisy! She took her on a long walk and was quick to respond to all my messages that I sent. She made me feel really comfortable about leaving baby with her. I will definitely be asking her to babysit again. Thank you, Rachel!”

“Amanda is truly fabulous! This is my first time navigating a puppy and leaving them with a sitter. She sends so many videos and photos, I have so much peace of mind leaving her with my pup. Highly recommend booking with her!”

“We had such a lovely experience! Amazing care and very attentive. We received constant picture updates and I ran a little late for pickup but Mihye was very kind and gracious. Oatmeal had an amazing time! Plus, there were two beautiful cats and they are sooo sweet and gentle :)”

About: Hello! My name is Megan and my husbands name is John. We both grew up in homes with multiple dogs and currently have a golden retriever named Hank. We would love to host your dog! While hank is very active and we walk him twice a day and take a trip to the dog park for socialization, we are happy to accommodate all activity levels. We both currently work from home and will be available at all hours for walks and playtime! Special needs can also be accommodated if necessary We have a large yard that is great for pups to run around in and have some fun. We also have a great walking route in our neighborhood and a dog park down the road.

About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover who recently said goodbye to my beloved terrier mix after raising him from puppyhood through his senior years. I’ve volunteered at shelters, pet sat for friends and family, and am comfortable administering medications. My husband and I are raising the next generation of dog lovers — our 4-year-old is learning how to be a responsible pet owner and loves helping teach dogs basic obedience and tricks. We know what dogs need because we genuinely live it. We are flexible to your dog's needs (I can take them for a run, or snuggle them on the couch), and we're comfortable with adult dogs and seniors, we are attuned to their unique needs. We are excited to welcome your pup to their home away from home. I work from home during the week and we enjoy weekends at home with our kids. So your pup will always have a human nearby. We live 10 minutes from a park and are happy to have your dog join us on our weekend strolls to the park. We build pet care naturally into our daily routine. Weekdays and weekends both work well for me. Your dog will be safe in our fully fenced backyard, complete with sunny spots, shady patches, and soft grass. My remote work situation means I can keep a close eye on all my charges and means they will have limited alone time. I’m experienced with seniors, medications, crating if needed, and keeping dogs happy and comfortable. We have two young children (4 and 1) and enforce respectful boundaries for both children and pups—but we ask our four-legged guests to be kid friendly.

“Jennifer was very communicative and responsive to the things that we addressed. Aster had a great stay with her. We are comfortable and confident to leave our pup in her care. We definitely will contact her again for future daycare and boarding. Thank you, Jennifer!”

“Olivia is wonderful! She took care of our little puppy Millie and was extremely understanding of her needs. She sent us photos and checked in with us frequently about the puppy. We had a great experience and will continue to stay in touch with Olivia. This was our first time leaving Millie with someone and she made the experience very comforting!”

About: I am a proud mom of two rescue dogs (Apollo and Stella) and two kids, my daughter (Isabel) and my son (Jack). I have had dogs my whole life. Animals are a passion of mine. I have experience with everything from puppies to seniors and also dog training. I have a fenced backyard which has been great for getting my dogs acquainted with other dogs and it gives them the space they need to run around. I am also at home most of the time. My husband and I work from home and have few errands to run throughout the day. Apollo is a 45lbs German Shepherd/ Basset Hound mix and Stella is a 9lb Chihuahua so I am accustomed to dogs of varying sizes. Both dogs, especially Apollo, love other dogs! I am a real estate professional who works from home most of the time. Because I have two dogs myself, I am letting them out often and I get to spend a lot of time with them. I have a large wooded fenced in yard. My dog, Stella is friendly but likes to snuggle up with me more than playing with other dogs, while Apollo loves to play with other dogs. He’s young and energetic so he will keep your fur baby entertained. My dogs sleep in our bedroom and are crated when we leave the house. Wherever your fur baby is accustomed to sleeping is where I will let them sleep to make sure they keep their routine. My husband and I work from home so I’m usually at home where I can let the dogs out often. My two kids go to a school that isn’t in our district so I leave during the day to go to carpool. Then I’m home to finish work and feed the pups. I have a fenced yard and two dogs to keep guest pups company. If your dog is accustomed to being crated, that’s fine. If not, that’s fine too. I do not allow dogs to be together while we aren’t home unless they come from the same family.
About: I’m a cat and new dog mom as of March, but throughout college I always took care of friends dogs and cats. I love all animals of any type of size, and ready to walk, feed, bathe and give love to new fur friends! I’m currently in between jobs, so I am available any day of the week; weekdays from 6 am-10 pm, weekends from 10 am-6 pm. Not yet available for boarding, but daily walks and check ins I’m ready for! I currently live in an apartment with a cat and puppy, so boarding is unavailable. But I am available for daily in-home visits with your pets!
About: I’ve had pets my whole life and I started taking care of my friends and family pets since high school, I guarantee you they will be treated with all the love and respect. I work full time but I work from home so I can give potty breaks every 4 hours and watch them all day long ! I live in a pet friendly apartment complex that has plenty of space to go for walks and also have a dog park, also my apartment is a really safe place for animals.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Roswell
10/10 + ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Allison was amazing, attentive, and gave excellent communication! She sent pictures with updates and created a safe/fun environment for Athena. The social interaction she was able to have with Allison’s own dogs was a huge plus as well. Looking forward to booking again and thank you Allison for the great experience!

Missy had another good daycare experience at Kristina's. Kristina is responsive, accommodating and dependable. She takes Missy on walks, which many sitters do not do. She reports on Missy's outings and activities during the day, sends pictures and finishes with a report card on her potty breaks, etc. We have used Kristina for boarding, as well. We definitely recommend her.

Garrett was able to take our big GSD on short notice and we were grateful. He and Bullet seemed to hit it off right away, and he played with my active dog. This was only Bullet’s second time with a sitter and he seemed to be quite comfortable when we picked him so I would say that it was a good experience. Garret was very responsive and communicated with us.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Roswell commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
