About: Hi! I’m new to Rover, but I have 13 years of experience in pet care. I’ve actively participated in volunteer work, rescue, and animal rehabilitation in Colombia, Panama, and the Amazon rainforest places where governments unfortunately do not make this a priority and there are many animals on the streets. I completely understand how challenging and important it is to leave your furry friend in good hands while you are traveling or away from home. I deeply understand how delicate or strong-willed some pets can be. The love of my life was my sweet senior Chihuahua who recently passed away, so I know how to care for small dogs or those with a strong character or personality with absolute patience, respect, gentleness, and empathy. Here, they will find a safe, family-friendly environment that fully respects their rhythm and personality. We are a family of three who deeply loves animals. I have a four-year-old daughter who, although not home all the time, has grown up around pets and knows perfectly how to respect each animal’s space, gentle nature, and personality. As a homemaker, I am home almost all day, so I have full availability and dedicated time to give your pet. I also would help neighbors with their dogs, such as walking and watching them when needed. About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own. Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Please understand that while we have experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs, we are currently unable to book dogs that are experiencing incontinence (even with diapers) and night time pacing/spatial disorientation/sleeplessness that comes with senility. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.

About: Hi there! I’m new to Rover but not new to caring for pets as we have a 10-year-old fur baby of our own and we've had him since he was a pup. I have board and sit both dogs and cats for families several times and realized how much we enjoyed their company and how easy it was for to us have them in our homes especially given that we've already have a very similar routine in caring for Jojo. We do have a pet of our own and a good existing routine, so we are able to host quite seamlessly so you can board with peace of mind. We take our dog out 4x per day; once in the morning (7-9am), afternoon (12-2pm), evening (5-7pm) and then at night (9-11pm) before bedtime. Food can be put out anytime, and happy to accommodate requests on food instructions. We have over half an acre of fully fenced backyard, giving your pup plenty of safe, secure space to explore, stretch their legs, and do their business. We also live in a walk-friendly neighborhood and enjoy regular walks throughout the day. Between our spacious backyard and neighborhood strolls, your pup will have plenty of opportunities to get outside and explore.

About: I've taken care of my own animals as well as friends' and neighbors' since I was a teenager, which was a long time ago! In 2013, I became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer so that I could help make more dogs' lives better with their humans. I take the time to learn about each individual animal in my care so that I can provide the best home away from home environment for them. I've cared for puppies (I have a great potty training protocol) and seniors with mobility issues and everything in between. I currently work from home and set my own schedule.
