About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover who recently said goodbye to my beloved terrier mix after raising him from puppyhood through his senior years. I’ve volunteered at shelters, pet sat for friends and family, and am comfortable administering medications. My husband and I are raising the next generation of dog lovers — our 4-year-old is learning how to be a responsible pet owner and loves helping teach dogs basic obedience and tricks. We know what dogs need because we genuinely live it. We are flexible to your dog's needs (I can take them for a run, or snuggle them on the couch), and we're comfortable with adult dogs and seniors, we are attuned to their unique needs. We are excited to welcome your pup to their home away from home. I work from home during the week and we enjoy weekends at home with our kids. So your pup will always have a human nearby. We live 10 minutes from a park and are happy to have your dog join us on our weekend strolls to the park. We build pet care naturally into our daily routine. Weekdays and weekends both work well for me. Your dog will be safe in our fully fenced backyard, complete with sunny spots, shady patches, and soft grass. My remote work situation means I can keep a close eye on all my charges and means they will have limited alone time. I’m experienced with seniors, medications, crating if needed, and keeping dogs happy and comfortable. We have two young children (4 and 1) and enforce respectful boundaries for both children and pups—but we ask our four-legged guests to be kid friendly.
About: I have been pet sitting for almost 15 years.. I love all animals but I am particularly fond of dogs and cats. I am a beloved owner of two beautiful German Shepherds.I am open to walking, feeding, helping with meds and spending quality time with your fur babies. I am also a avid photographer and love to take animal pics to share with families to feel connected while away from their pets. I am available for pet sitting full time and/or part time. I have an open flexible schedule. I'm also open to longer stays if necessary including overnights. I treat my pets like family. I love to spend quality time with my pet sitting babies and also enjoy teaching basic commands and playing enrichment games.
“Wow! I am so impressed with Mihye and the care she gave my little Latte. Everyday she would send me pictures about Latte and how she was doing and they were the cutest photos. She has excellent communication skills and will always give you updates about your pup to let you know that they are being taken care of. Mihye is our go to sitter if we ever need her. Thank you Mihye for taking such great care of Latte and the wonderful pictures.I know Latte had a lot of fun!!”

“We are so grateful to have found Nancy for our shy pup! She is amazing! Our dog is very reserved and I had to be careful to find someone who could make him feel comfortable, but from the moment I met Nancy, I knew she was the right fit. She took the time to get to know Koba’s specific needs (which is not much) and went at her pace, giving him space while still providing plenty of attention and care. Throughout the time she sat for us, Nancy was professional, kind, and kept us updated with sweet photos and messages. Our dog warmed up to her quickly, and I could tell he was in a safe and loving environment. We’ll definitely be using her services again and highly recommend her to anyone with a shy or anxious dog!””

“Jennifer and Family are simply AMAZING!! She has this high rating/feedback number for a reason. My dog was well taken care of and got many pictures and texts during the stay. A+ Thanks Jennifer and Family!! We will be booking soon again!!”

About: I have been a client on Rover for a long time. I’ve had many sitters watch my dogs and come in and out of my house. It was always so nerve wracking! Are they trustworthy? Do my dogs like them? Are they getting to my house on time to let my dogs out to go to the bathroom and to feed them? Are they being gentle with my dogs? All of these thoughts lead me to become a sitter on Rover once I put my corporate job on pause and became a mom. I have lived with pets my entire life and rescued my first dog 11 years ago. Since then, I have rescued two more pups and volunteered at a local rescue. Being a pet owner myself, I understand what it’s like to have someone take care of my animals that is kind, honest, and most important, trustworthy! It’s such a relief knowing our animals are in good hands and safe while we cannot be with them. My wish is to be that for others - a reliable, caring, honest, loving caretaker for your animal that not only makes you feel comfortable, but your animal as well. Time spent away from home and your animals should be 100% stress free. I am a mom of two young children and have a very flexible schedule. I am available weekdays and quite a few weekends to take care of your pets needs. I will make myself available and flexible to work with your animal and their daily needs. I understand the importance of a routine! Whether it’s a long walk or run in the neighborhood, playing fetch in the yard, or relaxing and snuggling, I am here to make your pet happy and comfortable.
About: Dogs hold a special place in my heart — especially rescue pups. My own dog was rescued from Kosovo, so I know firsthand the patience, love, and extra TLC that rescued dogs sometimes need. For 10 years, I’ve been the go-to person for walks, feeding, bathing, and all-around tail-wagging good times. Shy, anxious, or high-energy — I’ve loved them all. I don’t just watch dogs, I get them. Expect real-time photo updates, happy zoomies, and one very tired, very content pup waiting for you when you’re back! I work from home full-time, which means your pup is never left alone! I’m available for walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the entire day — mornings, afternoons, evenings, you name it. Flexible scheduling is my middle name. Your dog will feel right at home with me! I have a spacious yard where pups can run and explore freely. I also have an 11-year-old dog of my own — a calm, gentle companion who’s great with visitors. The yard is not fenced, so I always supervise outdoor time closely to make sure every pup stays safe and sound. Your dog’s safety is never left to chance!
“Xuizhen is soooo loving toward Ginny and greets her every Tuesday like a long lost friend. Ginny loves playing with Goofy - and the spoiling she gets from Xuizhen and her family. 5 stars for sure!”

I would love to take your pet on long walks, play with them, and take good care of them while you are away. I have a one and a half acre lawn and a small friendly dog to keep your pup company! I am used to treating ky own dog like a baby and will do the same with yours!

Gabrielle was more than amazing! She was so accommodating as we were working hard to get a bridal shower set up! She lives around the corner and walked over to get our three dogs! I was super busy throughout the shower and noticed that she sent me two pics of him playing at her house! I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Crabapple commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
