“Avery was very sweet and took great care of Cooper. He seemed very happy when we returned. She communicated during the visits and gave Cooper lots of attention. Thanks Avery!”

“Lori has watched my Jack several times. He just loves her, which takes the burden off of having to leave him home. Always gives us an update and was willing to stay another day when our trip was suddenly extended.”

“Hayley was so wonderful to work with- and we will definitely be using her to watch over our kitties in the future. She was very friendly, professional, and even took extra time to come over for an introductory visit to familarize herself with our little ones. I loves that she sent lots of pictures and detailed updates with each drop in and that she was a cat+dog owner herself.”

“Lizette was amazing! This was our first time having someone new watch our cats while out of town. Lizette was fantastic at asking all the right questions to make sure she was up on the routine. She loved on them, snuggled them and made sure they were well cared for! So happy to have Lizette as a contact to love and care for our girls when we are out of town :) Highly recommend!”

“5 Stars ⭐️ for Christel! First time using Rover and I entrusted my precious fur baby to her care. Everything went very well. She even offered to come and do an in house meet and greet with us prior to the scheduled services, which I found very pleasing and extremely helpful to bridge the care process! I would definitely work with her again! Also, she took us on last minute and her birthday was the very next day! I can’t say enough, Christel was great 😌 book her you won’t be disappointed🐾🐾”

About: Animals have been a part of my family my entire life. I’ve had pets of all kinds, including senior animals, kittens, and physically disabled cats. Knowing how to care for animals of all kinds and needs has come naturally to me, and I additionally have a few animal/veterinary science classes under my belt from my time in high school FFA. I’m currently saving up for grad school (music major 🎶) and looking to have fun with animals along the way! I work remotely and on my own schedule so am very flexible for scheduling throughout the day. Occasionally I travel for music work but know these dates well in advance. Having worked in two pet boarding facilities, I know how to handle reactive or shy dogs both on walks and in the house, and will put safety first, for both the animals and myself.

About: I have been surrounded by multiple animals since the day I was born! Taking care of animals is something that comes natural for me! Have taken care of all sizes of dogs and all ages as well! I am super reliable and it is my priority to make sure your pet feels loved and comfortable while you are away! Also comfortable and happy to follow specific instructions for feeding, routines, walks, or medications. I’m home for the summer and I have a flexible schedule and can make time for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and check-ins throughout the week. I’m happy to follow each pet’s normal routine and make sure they get the care, attention, and exercise they need. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I follow all instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, and pay attention to each pet’s personality and needs. Whether they are playful, shy, energetic, or relaxed, I’ll treat them with patience and care.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover born and raised around dogs. From energetic puppies to sweet senior pups, I’ve cared for them at every stage of life. I know how different the needs of a 10 week old puppy are from a 13+ year old dog and am comfortable and happy with both. While I grew up with dogs, I’m no stranger to cats either. I grew up cat sitting for neighbors and lived with cats through college and a bit after, so your kitty will be in good hands too. I live and work my full time job right here in Alpharetta, which means I’m always close by. Whether you need someone to check in on your pet mid-day or a trusted house sitter while you’re traveling, I’m local and flexible to accommodate to your needs. I’m currently working full time as an architectural designer. But no worries, my firm is right here in Alpharetta, so I am always nearby. My typical day to day is a very predictable 9-5 with flexibility to step away or work remotely if needed. With the exception of the occasional workout class, my evenings and mornings are free to spend with your furry friend. I am very proud of my commitment to the comfort and safety of my pets and the pets I care for. I have lived with all sorts of arrangements with pets from crating to free roaming animals and am comfortable accommodating your pet and their needs. Safety and comfort is my number one concern and I prioritize my pets and clients over everything in my life. I know how important keeping your spaces clean is for the safety and wellness of your pets and make sure that every space is puppy/kitty proofed in every way! As apart of my services, I prioritize regular updates and pictures to give you peace of mind that your pet is well taken care of.
“Clayton was an excellent sitter for Barkley and Bristol. My pups were very calm and content when I arrived home. Clayton was responsive, personable, and kept in touch on a regular basis while we were away. Highly recommended!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve loved caring for them for as long as I can remember. Since the summer of 2024, I have cared for multiple cats for friends and family, helping with feeding, playtime, litter box maintenance, medication when needed, and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I am also a proud cat mom to four cats of my own, and they truly are my whole world. Because I love my pets like family, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with yours. When I care for someone else’s pet, I treat them with the same patience, attention, and affection that I give my own cats. Their comfort, happiness, and safety are always my top priorities. While I have the most experience with cats, I am also comfortable with dogs and enjoy spending time with them. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship, I am happy to make sure your pet feels cared for and loved. Every animal has a unique personality, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know and caring for each one. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays, making it easy for me to accommodate your pet’s needs and routine. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I shadow a physician from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I am available both before and after those hours for visits, feedings, walks, and check-ins. While I have the most experience with cats, I am also comfortable caring for dogs, including feeding, playtime, companionship, and walks. My goal is always to make sure your pets feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away I provide care for cats and dogs in their own homes because I believe pets are often happiest and most comfortable in a familiar environment. For cats especially, staying in their own space helps maintain their routine and reduces the stress that can come with new surroundings. I do not offer boarding in my home because I have four cats of my own, and I want to ensure that both my cats and the pets I care for feel safe, secure, and free from unnecessary stress. As a cat mom, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members. Whether I’m caring for a cat or a dog, I treat every pet with the same patience, love, and attention that I give my own. I am also happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I've grown up in a pet household, I've had kittens and dogs since I was a little thing. I've done some time in a rescue shelter and a kennel as well so I am more than adept at taking care of our fur babies that are not mine, but I treat them as if they are family! I'm available 7 days a week. For morning, afternoon and or evening visits. I want to make sure your fur baby has all the attention that they deserve while you are away cuz I know they will be missing you. I currently do not offer in-home boarding due to the fact that I have some fur kids of my own. But I am capable and willing to travel anywhere within the northern greater Atlanta area to provide attention and care to your pet in their own home territory.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Crabapple
Avery is wonderful! We were gone for 16 days and she showed up on time every day to give our senior cat (Squeaks) her medication while also feeding and changing her kitty litter. This is important since she takes her meds once a day and needs to have it on a consistent schedule. She gave thoughtful updates and lots of pictures to show Squeaks was getting plenty of attention and love while we were away.

As always, Maggie was amazing while we were away. She is a gem! She kept us posted every check-in and kept our minds at ease while we were a state away. My extra shy cat, Reach, even came out for treats, pets and the brush :) This is the third time she has watched our kitties and she is THE BEST! I am always so relieved when she accepts our request for pet sitting! She takes great care of our babies!

Nikki was absolutely the best possible choice. She was attentive to my pets, sent pictures during every visit, and I came home to find my pets well-cared for, fed, watered, and happy. I recommend Nikki without reservations. She is a trusted pet-sitter, and I will absolutely be using her again for my future trips.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Crabapple. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
