“Manoela was fantastic !! She was punctual and was very communicative about how my pupper was doing. Booked her for daily check ins for two weeks and it went problem free!”

“Flavia was an excellent sitter for Midnight. Midnight is a senior dog and does not favor many people. Flavia and Midnight connected right away. Highly recommend her for your pet and will most definitely request her again.”
“Annabelle did a wonderful job caring for our kitties while we were on vacation. We loved getting our daily updates and photos. Would definitely recommend her for your pets!”

“Cassidy was amazing!!! She was very professional and really did an amazing job checking in on our puppy! She always locked the house up, sent great photos of him, and even cleaned his food bowls:) I would highly recommend her to watch your pets!!!”

About: I have always loved all kinds of animals. I grew up befriending and taking care of multiple neighborhood pets. I ran a pet sitting business for most of my childhood. I recently worked at a vets office and have experience with all kinds of animals in all kinds of conditions. This also means that I have experience taking care of sick pets or being able to medicate when instructed. I have been a long time cat lover, now having three live with me in my home. Each have their own unique personalities and traits, no cat is "just a cat" to me. I have my older scaredy cat, my middle aged "annoying" brother cat, and our sweet rambunctious younger girl cat. I think I have a good personality for meeting new cats and usually can get them to warm up to me in time. I am quiet, calm, and clean, content to spend time with the smallest of your family. I am looking to do more and more cat sitting, I will be available all summer! I would love to spend more time with your pet. In my own home I do daily litter box cleanings, food and water bowl swaps, and play multiple times a day. Generally pet's worlds are our homes and I believe it is important their world is clean and stimulating.
“We love having Katie come by! My dogs get some wonderful quality time, my kitties get loved on, and I always get a super detailed Rover card and tons of pictures. Katie loves on my animals the same way I would. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Tara was awesome! I’ve used her help multiple times now… found her last minute through Rover and quite grateful I did! I travel quite a bit, and relocated, so having to find someone new that I trust to come into my home when I’m not there, isn’t always the easiest! Highly recommend her! She’s awesome!!”

“Ginny took wonderful care of my two dogs, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I met her, it was clear she genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. She was reliable, attentive, and kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. My dogs were happy, well cared for, and clearly received plenty of love, attention, and exercise. She also paid close attention to their individual personalities and routines, making sure both of them felt comfortable and cared for. I came home to two relaxed, happy dogs, and it was obvious they had been in excellent hands. I highly recommend Ginny to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable dog caretaker. I will definitely be booking her again.”

“This is the second time we have used Ana and she went above and beyond. We have a very timid husky who does not like strangers or unfamiliar places. Ana is so kind and thoughtful that by the third day our husky was coming out of her shell and forming a relationship. Ana is extremely punctual, always leaves notes after the visit, and takes great pictures. Always reassuring us there are no issues. We look forward to having Ana take care of our pets.”
“Crystal was so sweet, she was great at providing updates and pics, My fur babies really took to her. I have a little yorkie who is loving but a barker, she was able to soothe him and my usually elusive ragdoll cat seemed to make an appearance for her each visit. She was wonderful, I would definitely ask for her again!”

“First of all, our kitten loved her from the start! Kayla took great care and patience getting the other two to come around. She was very accommodating of their ridiculous eating preferences, and made sure they all had their space and their fill. We appreciate that she went above and beyond, and that she was willing to do whatever was needed to make sure our babies were safe and happy. Her detailed updates and many photos from each visit kept us well informed and eased any worries we might have had. We will definitely be asking her back when we are out of town again. We recommend Kayla 110%!!”
About: I’ve owned and worked with animals my entire life, and caring for pets is second nature to me. I’ve raised and loved two senior dogs of my own, so I understand how to provide gentle, attentive care—especially for pets who need extra patience and support. Whether it’s giving meds, helping with mobility, or simply offering comforting company, I know how to meet pets where they are. What truly sets me apart is the love and respect I bring to every animal I meet. I treat your pets like my own—with warmth, responsibility, and a deep understanding of their unique personalities and needs. Pet sitting is my job, so I’m able to offer flexible, reliable care throughout the week. I don’t have a traditional 9–5 schedule, which means I can adjust my availability to fit your pet’s needs—whether that’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening visits. I’m committed to giving your pets consistent, loving attention and making sure their routine stays as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away. When caring for pets in your home, I always aim to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I respect your space, follow all instructions carefully, and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for while you’re away. Whether that means sticking to a strict feeding schedule, giving medications, or just offering extra snuggles, I treat your home and your pet with the same care and attention I would my own.
About: I’ve cared for my family, friends, and neighbors’ pets since I was about 10 years old. I have spent lots of time feeding, grooming, playing, and cleaning up after dogs and cats. I even led a community service project at a local adoption center! I am currently at home for the summer from college, which has freed up much of my schedule. While weekdays are ideal, I am typically available on weekends. I am happy to play with pets in the yard or take them for a walk around the neighborhood! I always make sure to use a leash. I can also crate pets when necessary.
About: I’ve always loved taking care of animals! I have been a dog walker since I was 12 years old. I have done several week long dog sitting gigs that included walking, feeding, cleaning, and general care. I’ve received great reviews and been asked to come back! :) Right now, I work a remote 9 to 5 where I am flexible to make a quick drop ins, and I am always free in the early mornings and weekends. I always make sure to have the upmost respect for my client’s living space and home, as well as giving their animals the absolute best care possible! I always make sure to follow instructions exactly and give updates about their babies, if welcome!

Ginny went over and above my expectations when taking care of my senior cat, Willow. I will continue to use her every time I travel. Willow was receptive and warmed up to her immediately. She continued her allergy medication regimen daily even though Willow isn’t the easiest to dose. Ginny really took care of Willow as if she was her own. She made fun pictures and notes to send when we were away. It put me at ease knowing my baby was in good hands. Thank you Ginny for everything! I’m glad we found you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
