“We felt very comfortable leaving our two English springer spaniels in the care of Ana while we were away on vacation. Ana gave daily reports via the app, communicated well, arrived every day on time and left our dogs a personalized goodie bag on her last visit! We would definitely recommend Ana and plan to use her again!”

“Sara was amazing from start to finish. She really cares about your pet and will treat them like her own. We felt very comfortable enjoying our vacation, knowing that they were so well taken care of.”

“I can’t thank Taylor enough for always going the extra mile for my babies, I’m super grateful to have him watch them when I’m away. He is very communicative, prompt and of course the pups love him! Thank you for everything, we are blessed to have you around!”

“This is our fifth time hiring Violeta to take care of our feline trio, and as always she was a consummate professional. She is a great communicator and always takes care of everything! We’re so glad our cats have someone like her on call when we’re out of town. Hire her! She’s the absolute best!!”

“Taylor did a fantastic job in taking care of our cat while my wife and I were away on business trips. I would highly recommend Taylor for your pets and we will be bookin Taylor again when we vacation this summer.”

“Ryan has done a great job visiting our new Brittany puppy while we are at work. He communicates well, is on time, and our handles our dog with gentleness and experience. We will definitely book him again!”

“Tamara was wonderful! The cats loved her and she gave very thorough updates with plenty of pictures. I’m so happy to have someone who is reliable and caring to count on when I travel. Thank you, Tamara!”

“I’ve had Barbara come and do drop in visits with my dog on two separate occasions (both week long trips) and I will never have someone else do it! Bentley is a picky pup when it comes to the people around him and who he lets in his house, but he loved Barbara from the first second she walked in. Everyday I got pictures of him smiling, playing and not being a totally grumpy, lazy old man and I couldn’t ask for anything else while I’m away from him. I trust her 100% with my dog and my home, and I feel so lucky that I found her! It takes a weight off my shoulders knowing that someone is loving him as hard as I do, when I’m not there to do. THANK YOU BARBARA!”

“My 3 cats love having Ari come visit! They can be difficult - refusing to take their meds, or playing an epic game of hide and seek; but she always takes great care of them when I’m gone. Thanks for the amazing work, as always!”

“Tara took such good care of our Cat! Right from the start she communicated well with us and provided expert care for our older cat who needs medication twice daily. We could see in the photos he enjoyed her visits and playtime. He was calm and relaxed when we returned home. Tara went above beyond!”

“The best dog sitter! Kim took incredible care of our two dogs while we were out of the country! She kept us up-to-date on how they were doing and included numerous photos which made us very happy to see along the way! Would highly recommend Kim!”

“Cass took good care of our cat! She went above and beyond to make sure she was safe, well fed and loved. I appreciated how she helped with bringing mail and packages in.”

“Our pups are super shy, and Claudia was so patient and creative in helping them feel comfortable while we were away! Great communication and so kind to our babies - we will definitely be booking again :)”

“Manoela was fantastic !! She was punctual and was very communicative about how my pupper was doing. Booked her for daily check ins for two weeks and it went problem free!”

“Brooke was so easy to work with and sweet with my pet. She was also very communicative and left me with a detailed description of her visit with my cat and photos. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I have always loved all kinds of animals. I grew up befriending and taking care of multiple neighborhood pets. I ran a pet sitting business for most of my childhood. I recently worked at a vets office and have experience with all kinds of animals in all kinds of conditions. This also means that I have experience taking care of sick pets or being able to medicate when instructed. I have been a long time cat lover, now having three live with me in my home. Each have their own unique personalities and traits, no cat is "just a cat" to me. I have my older scaredy cat, my middle aged "annoying" brother cat, and our sweet rambunctious younger girl cat. I think I have a good personality for meeting new cats and usually can get them to warm up to me in time. I am quiet, calm, and clean, content to spend time with the smallest of your family. I am looking to do more and more cat sitting, I will be available all summer! I would love to spend more time with your pet. In my own home I do daily litter box cleanings, food and water bowl swaps, and play multiple times a day. Generally pet's worlds are our homes and I believe it is important their world is clean and stimulating.
“Molly took great care of our boys. She left detailed notes and documented with lots of photos. It was nice to not worry about them while we were away. Molly went above and beyond for our fur babies and we are so grateful.”

Thank you so much, Barbara! You went above and beyond with our Hani. We really appreciated the frequent check in pictures and the fact that you even swept up his litter that he always kicks out of his box, and took out the soiled litter to the dumpster. Would definitely rebook you for the future when I travel again.

Kati did a phenomenal job looking after our cat Fritz. She was so communicative and sent me a detailed update with every drop in. Kati took the best pictures and cared for him as if he was her own! This was the first time we have left our kitty with someone we didn’t know. I felt so reassured and had no worries about Fritz when we were gone. I couldn’t recommend Kati enough!

Amy is the bombdiggety!! We have been blessed to have her watch over our babies for several years now & we are SO grateful!! She is a lifesaver! She takes exceptional care of our pets while we are away & we NEVER have to worry about anything while she is in charge. We know she has it ALL handled, with the same amount of care & concern that we would (or Better!) Our pets love her & we do too! Thanks for being a superstar sitter Amy!!!!

Ana was wonderful with Buddy while we were away! She was reliable, communicative, and gave us so much peace of mind during our trip. Buddy can be very picky and set in his routines, and Ana was incredibly patient and caring with him. We truly appreciated the updates, attention, and care she provided throughout the week. It made it so much easier for us to relax knowing he was being looked after so well. We’re very grateful for all of her help and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and dependable pet sitter. 💛

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
