About: My name is Ashli. I've had ALL kinds of animals all my life! Guinea pigs, 25 year old leopard gecko (that was one of my other geckos babies), tortoises, and fish. My kitty, Blue, was 21 and died in my arms. I rescued her from a box in front of the pet store where I worked in college. I currently only have my tortoises and leopard gecko. My TipToe passed in November. 😢 My children, who are college graduates (my son starting vet school), love animals and take care of pets as well when they are home. We have neighbors who we watch or walk doggies for on a regular basis. We only watch small dogs due to the size of my home and yard. So, if you have a little one then this is the place for them! No worries about being bumped around by a larger pup. My fee is higher, but my clients are fewer and your pup is guaranteed not to have larger pups as companions here. I am a great choice for your little one. My neighborhood is very quiet and I'm a homebody! 😄 I do require a "Meet and Greet" before booking for new clients. I require the name of your vet and proof of vaccines and canine Bordetella. Vaccines and other treatments: It is YOUR responsibility to make sure your pet is up to date and has its shot for canine cough. I do NOT treat my yard for fleas (nor do I fertilize the backyard). Please make sure your pet is on a flea/tick preventative. I do have rabbits and squirrels that regularly visit my yard. If your pet is on meds I will administer oral or topical medication. I’m sorry, but I won’t do shots. Food: I will only feed your animals what you have given to me. Please, provide dog bowls, food, and treats. I do have extra bowls in case you forget. I also have American made treats to provide, but I will always check with you first. Sleeping: I don't use crates. If you require one for sleeping, you must provide. I have several dog beds but bring your own as well. That way they have a familiar smell. I do allow dogs in my bed, but usually just one at a time. Grooming: PLEASE READ If your pup is regularly groomed, make sure they are groomed before dropping off for boarding! All pups, ESPECIALLY those new to boarding, can get upset tummies from time to time. I will bathe them free of charge if this happens. I would NEVER leave them unclean. If they are not groomed, bathing when this happens is not fun for them 😥 (nor me) and stressful when they are already out of their comfort zones. I will charge $35 each time they need a bath if they are not groomed. At the very least keep area trimmed around his bottom and tail even if the rest of his hair is long. Thank you for understanding! 🙏 I aim for a very pleasant happy stay when your pup is with me.💕 Outdoor Access: My backyard is fenced, very secure and gates are locked. If your dog is an escape artist or digger, please, let me know! My backdoor has a screen that they can go in and out of. The door is open when weather permits. Walks: If weather is not too hot, cold, or rainy, I may take your dog to the park or walk along the river. This is all cleared with you beforehand. Please, bring a harness and a leash. I do not feel safe taking dogs on a walk with just a collar. Other Pet Types: If you have other animals that need boarding or looked after like rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards, birds, turtles, fish, cats, I have experience with all sorts of animals. I am also a Master Gardener and can take care of plants inside and out. The fees vary for these services. So, please, feel free to ask. My Home: I keep a very clean house, and it is very well taken care of. I do not leave dog food lying around. Fresh water dishes outside and in daily. My wooden stairs have treads, but I will carry elderly dogs up and down if necessary. I have gates up in certain areas to prevent escapes or from going somewhere they shouldn’t. I will send photo/text updates. I'm fairly flexible! As those that have used me before would attest too. If you have a missed flight or traffic problem and require an unexpected overnight stay it usually is fine. It would just require another nights charge. Drop-offs and pick-ups can be anywhere between 6:45am and 7:30pm. I am a little flexible, but much earlier or later would require an overnight stay. All animals are fed and let out before I leave for work. As soon as I return they are given treats and let outside to run around. I am home a lot so my backdoor is usually open. They run in and out while I am inside cooking or working on art. Mostly they just want to be where I am which is fine by me! 😋 We let animals stay on our furniture... that's why only small dogs. :-) If your dog is elderly we will not let on furniture out of fear for hurting themselves jumping off. If you want your pet to stay in a crate you must provide it. All pets are fed in separate areas. Water is refreshed daily or more often if needed. We also have toys... as some of our guests have found favorites and go back to them when they come over again!
“Karen was able to help us out at the last minute and was such a huge help! She sent updates throughout the day on how Winnie was doing and her antics. She was flexible with our pickup and Winnie came home exhausted from a full day of play!”

“Tempest is great with Millie. Millie was so happy to see her today. She has separation anxiety but Tempest has managed to work through that with her. So happy to have Tempest keep her for me.”

About: Hi there! I’m new to Rover but not new to caring for pets as we have a 10-year-old fur baby of our own and we've had him since he was a pup. I have board and sit both dogs and cats for families several times and realized how much we enjoyed their company and how easy it was for to us have them in our homes especially given that we've already have a very similar routine in caring for Jojo. Boarding Care: We take our dog out 4x per day; once in the morning (7-9am), afternoon (12-2pm), evening (5-7pm) and then at night (9-11pm) before bedtime. Food can be put out anytime, and happy to accommodate request on food instructions. About Jojo: he is our best little guard dog so the first couple of mins when you are entering his home he'll bark and sniff. He does adjust quickly and gets along well with other dogs. He is our only dog so when you board with us your pet too will have a friend to play with. We do have a pet of our own and a good existing routine, so we are able to host quite seamlessly so you can board with peace of mind. We have over half an acre of fenced backyard so rest assured they are safe and will have plenty of space to mark their spots.

“Melissa helped administer medicine for our 13-year old shih tzu while we were away. She also checked in and was friendly with our grandmother(who had stayed home but was unfamiliar with giving our deog her medication). Melissa definitely helped us rest a little easier on vacation, knowing that our old pup was getting the medications she needed.”
“Hope was absolutely incredible with my dog, Charlie. She gave her so much love and I felt so calm knowing that Charlie was well taken care of. I would HIGHLY recommend Hope for all dog sitting needs!”

“Xuizhen is soooo loving toward Ginny and greets her every Tuesday like a long lost friend. Ginny loves playing with Goofy - and the spoiling she gets from Xuizhen and her family. 5 stars for sure!”

“My Ginny loved being at Leah's home with her 2 dogs. As far as i know, Ginny gets along with cats as well. Ginny is very compatible with Leah's dog Bailey making for a great playmate and socialization. Ginny needs a more active environment - so that she is encountering more animals, people and various living situations. I know Leah is kind and caring - and feel soooo blessed ginny has her as a resource for fun, love and learning interactions.”

I provide a loving and fun, playful environment where your pet will be cared for and shown lots of attention. I am currently solely walking dogs and taking care of pets while families are on vacations. I enjoy the different personalities each animal has to offer. I provide a loving and fun service for each I’m divided animal. I have a fenced in yard for your baby to play and potty in. I have a great neighborhood for walks and I am at home all the time so spend every moment with your fur baby.
“Elizabeth & Scott were fantastic! We needed a last minute sitter for our puppy and she had a wonderful time and was really well cared for. We hope to use them again in the future! :)”

“This was Missy's first time with Kristina. We were kept posted on how Missy was fitting in, and she sent reassuring pictures. We look forward to using Kristina's services in the future and have, in fact, already booked a more extensive stay. It went well; we were very pleased with Kristina.”

About: I have been around all kinds of animals since birth! I grew up on a huge cattle/chicken farm and my family always had dogs through the years. I have a passion for animals big and small! I love puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs too! I have a six year old Golden Retriever named Harper who loves everyone and gets along wonderful with all other dogs. I will make sure to go the extra mile to make sure your pup is treated like my own and is comfortable, happy, and well taken care of! I’m a registered nurse and I am doing this in my spare time because I have a passion for being around animals. I can handle special health needs, energetic dogs as well as elderly dogs. Come allow your family member to stay with me and you can trust they will be loved their whole stay with me! I work 3 days a week as a registered nurse in home health care and my schedule the other 4 days a week is wide open both day and night! I will be able to be fully committed to your pup for walks, potty breaks and just simply hanging out with them. I have a specious home with a fenced in back yard for play time and I live in a safe/nice neighborhood for leashed walks! I allow all dogs on my furniture if that’s okay with you and I will give potty breaks every 2-4 hours.
About: Dogs hold a special place in my heart — especially rescue pups. My own dog was rescued from Kosovo, so I know firsthand the patience, love, and extra TLC that rescued dogs sometimes need. For 10 years, I’ve been the go-to person for walks, feeding, bathing, and all-around tail-wagging good times. Shy, anxious, or high-energy — I’ve loved them all. I don’t just watch dogs, I get them. Expect real-time photo updates, happy zoomies, and one very tired, very content pup waiting for you when you’re back! I work from home full-time, which means your pup is never left alone! I’m available for walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the entire day — mornings, afternoons, evenings, you name it. Flexible scheduling is my middle name. Your dog will feel right at home with me! I have a spacious yard where pups can run and explore freely. I also have an 11-year-old dog of my own — a calm, gentle companion who’s great with visitors. The yard is not fenced, so I always supervise outdoor time closely to make sure every pup stays safe and sound. Your dog’s safety is never left to chance!
About: My wife and I have taken care of dogs and other animals for over 50 years combined. We have experience training dogs, raising and leash training puppies, helping friends address issues with their pets when asked, fostering and rehabilitating abused dogs. We've taken care of numerous elderly dogs and dealt with the hard decisions that come along with that. We are a happy, balanced pack and ensure all dogs, even if just visiting, are welcomed properly to become a part of our pack. We spend a lot of time at home, especially outside taking care of our land and animals. We both have flexible work schedules, and one of us works from home every day so chances are very high that someone is home at least 90% of the time. We have 2+ acres of fenced in yard, primarily privacy fence. Our four year old daughter helps us take care of a Bluetick Coonhound and a Bloodhound, as well as chickens, ducks, and the best pest control around in the form of the sweetest small black cat. There's an open porch with a fan and a 1000 SQ ft deck with locking exterior doors and fans for our dogs to hang out in on a nice day or when it's raining. We play with our dogs in the yard as well as leading them on walks. We feed them twice a day, provide plenty of water, and toys. Dogs are welcome inside and sleep in dog beds, but are not allowed on furniture or the bed. We prefer visiting dogs to sleep in a crate but not required. To keep our dogs happy and balanced we treat our dogs like dogs, as members of the pack, and we (humans) are the pack leaders. We lead them in walks/exercise, provide disciplined games/play/training, and give them plenty of affection.
