About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own currently, Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.
“Betsy was very sweet, professional, and communicative. She sent lots of pics during the short time my dogs stayed with her. It turned out not to be a great fit for one of my dogs, but it was an understandable situation and Betsy was not at fault in any way. I'd happily recommend her to others.”

“Lina was great. She sent pictures throughout the day which eased my mind since this was the first time Bella had ever stayed away from me. I have already re-booked for an overnight stay.”

About: In addition to common dog owner knowledge I am also equipped with exceptional K-9 to human communication skills that will help me make nervous, unsettled, shy, or anxious pets adjust to their temporary lodging. I acquired these skills during 10 years of K-9 protection handling and training education and practice along with 15 years of bodywork with a concentration in myofascial release. I can take pets on short notice for as long as necessary. Your dog(s) will not interact with other dogs while in my care, unless previously discussed. The interior of my 2500 sf home has the space and configuration to allow up to 4 dogs to be separated into their own "living" spaces. Having two of may own, I will only take two dogs as a time. I will provide exceptional care and 24/7 attention. Why I love dog sitting My entire life, personal and professional, has been with dogs afoot. I enjoy discovering their individual personalities. Meet my pets I have two Pomeranians. About my yard Fenced, however I prefer to hand walk client's pets. I am a jogger so if your pet is used to jogging each day for exercise we can make that happen. My experience administering medication I am happy to administer any necessary medications and supplements. I have been doing so for as long as I can remember, IV, IM, topical, and oral. I build my schedule around clients needs. Mine eat at 8 AM and 6 pm and get outside for fresh air and a bio bark every 4-5 hours. In a client's home, I leave absolutely no trace I have ben there. Extreme attention to detail, respect for your environment, and I follow instructions with precision. In my home, I follow the schedule I am given and keep a low and slow approach, giving them space, time, and calm/quiet emotional support to adjust. In both environments you will receive videos, pics, and updates multiple times per day.
“Angie did a great job watching our pups for us during daycare. It was our first time booking with her and she was very thorough in learning about our pups, checked their shots were up to date, and sent us lots of photos during their visit. Both were super happy and content in her home. We would definitely book with Angie again!”

About: I’ve worked with dogs for many years in professional daycare and boarding, and I foster through rescue, so I’ve gotten to know every kind of dog. The shy ones who need slow trust. The seniors who need gentle walks and steady routines. Puppies who need patience and consistency. Big goofy dogs who want to be in your lap no matter their size. I love meeting each dog where they are and giving them exactly what helps them feel safe. I also work in the healthcare field, so detailed updates and regular check ins are just part of who I am. You’ll never be left wondering how your fur baby is doing. I send real, meaningful updates so you always feel connected and at ease. My home is calm and cozy. No kids, no chaos. It’s a great setup for dogs who need structure or a quieter environment. If a dog prefers their own space, I have a dedicated room where they can relax with their bed or crate. I pay attention to body language, follow routines closely, and make sure your dog’s day feels predictable and comforting. And for the happy go lucky confident pups, they slide right into the family vibe here. They’ll join me on little adventures, outings, or fun activities if you approve. They get to be part of whatever I’m doing and they usually love it. I take care of every pet like they’re my own. Warmth, patience, and real attention. Your pet will feel safe and loved, and you’ll feel confident the whole time they’re with me. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m home a lot with my hybrid schedule. Your dog simply joins the flow of my day. I keep their usual rhythm in place as much as possible so everything feels familiar. If they eat at certain times, go out at certain times, or have any special routines, I try to follow those. My days are calm and predictable, which helps dogs settle in. They’re not left wondering where I am. They get consistency, company, and the kind of attention that makes them feel safe and relaxed. Safety always comes first. I’m calm, attentive, and I watch body language so I can keep dogs comfortable and prevent issues before they start. I follow your routines, feeding instructions, and any rules you have at home or for walks. Trust matters to me. I keep you updated, and make sure you always know how your pet is doing. My healthcare background helps because clear communication and noticing the little things are already part of my day to day. The environment here in my home is quiet and relaxed with no kids and no chaos. Most dogs settle in quickly. If your pup needs their own space, I can set up a separate room with their bed or crate.
About: Planning a vacation? Need someone to not just take care of your dog but also to play with them and keep them company? You've come to the right person. I have raised several dogs since childhood and I have a cute little Peek-a-poo dog who loves to play with other dogs. Also, I have an awesome fenced yard that the dogs absolutely love to play in. I can assure you that you can reach me any time over text to get status on your loved pet. I prefer crate trained dogs, but non-trained ones are welcome too. I love to spend time with our pet friends and take them on walks and play with them in our back yard. Working from home most of the days makes this easy and convenient for me. I have a half acre fenced backyard and a basement to keep the fur babies safe with plenty of room. I also have a pekinese dog that can be their play buddy

“My Rocky had a ball!!! He absolutely LOVES Vishal (I’m officially jealous!!!) I received videos and pictures of my big guy which was the best reassurance for his first visit!!! Vishal thank you for taking such great care of my Rocky!!!”

“Kelsey has displayed so much patience with my anxiety ridden fur baby, Jackie. Though she still prefers to stay at home, I think she’s slowly beginning to get comfortable spending time with Kelsey and I’m soooo grateful for that.”

Lake Forest dog parents share their Rover experiences
Betsy was very understanding and was such a pleasure to have around my dog and myself! Her communication was great. Romeo was very excited to go to her home and he made a new friend. Will most definitely book again! Normally when I take my dog to a dog sitter he comes back tired and covered in mud but with Betsy she took great care of Romeo and he loved it! Loved the pictures too Betsy sent me! Always kept me in the loop!
