“Karen was able to help us out at the last minute and was such a huge help! She sent updates throughout the day on how Winnie was doing and her antics. She was flexible with our pickup and Winnie came home exhausted from a full day of play!”

About: I have been a pet owner for over 13 years and I have provided house sitting and dog walking services for multiple families. I provide a loving and fun, playful environment where your pet will be cared for and shown lots of attention. I am currently solely walking dogs and taking care of pets while families are on vacations. I enjoy the different personalities each animal has to offer. I provide a loving and fun service for each I’m divided animal. I have a fenced in yard for your baby to play and potty in. I have a great neighborhood for walks and I am at home all the time so spend every moment with your fur baby.
About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own currently, Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.
“Lina was a lifesaver in responding to our needs for a dog sitter. Not only did she take excellent care of our lab puppy, she was very flexible in pick up and drop off times in a week where we had a family member hospitalized. We are very grateful.”

About: Hi there! I’m new to Rover but not new to caring for pets as we have a 10-year-old fur baby of our own and we've had him since he was a pup. I have board and sit both dogs and cats for families several times and realized how much we enjoyed their company and how easy it was for to us have them in our homes especially given that we've already have a very similar routine in caring for Jojo. Boarding Care: We take our dog out 4x per day; once in the morning (7-9am), afternoon (12-2pm), evening (5-7pm) and then at night (9-11pm) before bedtime. Food can be put out anytime, and happy to accommodate request on food instructions. About Jojo: he is our best little guard dog so the first couple of mins when you are entering his home he'll bark and sniff. He does adjust quickly and gets along well with other dogs. He is our only dog so when you board with us your pet too will have a friend to play with. We do have a pet of our own and a good existing routine, so we are able to host quite seamlessly so you can board with peace of mind. We have over half an acre of fenced backyard so rest assured they are safe and will have plenty of space to mark their spots.

With two energetic kids and a loving husband, our home is always buzzing with excitement and wagging tails. With over 30 years of experience in dog-sitting (Oh, my I’m telling my age!), I've honed my skills to provide top-notch care for your furry friends. Plus, having our own sweet 2-year-old pup has taught us even more about the joys of canine companionship. Specializing in puppy training and senior dog care, we ensure each dog gets the personalized attention they deserve to thrive. And hey, if you're new to Rover, don't forget to ask about our promo code for $20 off your first booking! Unfortunately, our cozy home isn't suitable for large dogs, but rest assured, we'll make sure your smaller pups have a blast and feel right at home. ***NO DOGS OVER 50 LBS***** Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily and weekly routine. While I work full-time, I have the flexibility to work from home, providing a comforting environment for your furry friend if they require boarding. Additionally, I'm available for in-home boarding, dog walks at your home, or boarding in your home. As a family, we prioritize the comfort and well-being of your pet, ensuring they feel at home. We only use crates during feeding times to prevent any issues such as allergies or stomach problems that may arise from other dogs eating each other's food. Our own dog enjoys free roam of our house, and we understand the importance of providing a similar environment for your furry friend. We don't have a fenced backyard, but rest assured, your pet will be walked numerous times a day. Dogs are welcome on furniture and receive plenty of hugs and affection throughout their stay. We're happy to follow any specific rules or preferences you have regarding your pet's behavior in our home.

About: I have always had dogs and loved animals my whole life. I currently have two dogs and one cat at home. I doggy sit often for friends and loving having play dates with other dogs. My family is used to having others spend days with us at a time and we love to snuggle in bed together. I’m a teacher so I’m free all summer long to be with your babies. I have a dog that is my morning girl. She will get up at 5 am and we go get breakfast and go outback for potty break. We go out at 8 am for a walk and usually have the doggy dog open for them to go outback back for the bathroom during the day. I will do a final walk at around 8pm and get everyone all the night time routine of dinner and meds and greenies. I have a fenced back yard. It’s very large and I teach any new dog to use the doggy door. I love snuggling during the day on the couch with them or in bed. We sometimes go out to the park and really just want for their needs.
About: Dogs hold a special place in my heart — especially rescue pups. My own dog was rescued from Kosovo, so I know firsthand the patience, love, and extra TLC that rescued dogs sometimes need. For 10 years, I’ve been the go-to person for walks, feeding, bathing, and all-around tail-wagging good times. Shy, anxious, or high-energy — I’ve loved them all. I don’t just watch dogs, I get them. Expect real-time photo updates, happy zoomies, and one very tired, very content pup waiting for you when you’re back! I work from home full-time, which means your pup is never left alone! I’m available for walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the entire day — mornings, afternoons, evenings, you name it. Flexible scheduling is my middle name. Your dog will feel right at home with me! I have a spacious yard where pups can run and explore freely. I also have an 11-year-old dog of my own — a calm, gentle companion who’s great with visitors. The yard is not fenced, so I always supervise outdoor time closely to make sure every pup stays safe and sound. Your dog’s safety is never left to chance!
“Edward was amazing with my rescue dog, Dunkin. He took care of him the entire day, sent pictures and video updates through the app, and made me feel like my pup was in really good hands. Edward allowed Dunkin to roam freely around the house, didn't mind him getting on furniture, and made the whole experience really easy and stress free. He provides a laid back environment that really allows the dog and the owner to relax and not worry about a thing. I would 100% recommend him and I will definitely be using Edward again!”

“Xuizhen is soooo loving toward Ginny and greets her every Tuesday like a long lost friend. Ginny loves playing with Goofy - and the spoiling she gets from Xuizhen and her family. 5 stars for sure!”

About: My name is Ashli. I've had ALL kinds of animals all my life! Guinea pigs, 25 year old leopard gecko (that was one of my other geckos babies), tortoises, and fish. My kitty, Blue, was 21 and died in my arms. I rescued her from a box in front of the pet store where I worked in college. I currently only have my tortoises and leopard gecko. My TipToe passed in November. 😢 My children, who are college graduates (my son starting vet school), love animals and take care of pets as well when they are home. We have neighbors who we watch or walk doggies for on a regular basis. We only watch small dogs due to the size of my home and yard. So, if you have a little one then this is the place for them! No worries about being bumped around by a larger pup. My fee is higher, but my clients are fewer and your pup is guaranteed not to have larger pups as companions here. I am a great choice for your little one. My neighborhood is very quiet and I'm a homebody! 😄 I do require a "Meet and Greet" before booking for new clients. I require the name of your vet and proof of vaccines and canine Bordetella. Vaccines and other treatments: It is YOUR responsibility to make sure your pet is up to date and has its shot for canine cough. I do NOT treat my yard for fleas (nor do I fertilize the backyard). Please make sure your pet is on a flea/tick preventative. I do have rabbits and squirrels that regularly visit my yard. If your pet is on meds I will administer oral or topical medication. I’m sorry, but I won’t do shots. Food: I will only feed your animals what you have given to me. Please, provide dog bowls, food, and treats. I do have extra bowls in case you forget. I also have American made treats to provide, but I will always check with you first. Sleeping: I don't use crates. If you require one for sleeping, you must provide. I have several dog beds but bring your own as well. That way they have a familiar smell. I do allow dogs in my bed, but usually just one at a time. Grooming: PLEASE READ If your pup is regularly groomed, make sure they are groomed before dropping off for boarding! All pups, ESPECIALLY those new to boarding, can get upset tummies from time to time. I will bathe them free of charge if this happens. I would NEVER leave them unclean. If they are not groomed, bathing when this happens is not fun for them 😥 (nor me) and stressful when they are already out of their comfort zones. I will charge $35 each time they need a bath if they are not groomed. At the very least keep area trimmed around his bottom and tail even if the rest of his hair is long. Thank you for understanding! 🙏 I aim for a very pleasant happy stay when your pup is with me.💕 Outdoor Access: My backyard is fenced, very secure and gates are locked. If your dog is an escape artist or digger, please, let me know! My backdoor has a screen that they can go in and out of. The door is open when weather permits. Walks: If weather is not too hot, cold, or rainy, I may take your dog to the park or walk along the river. This is all cleared with you beforehand. Please, bring a harness and a leash. I do not feel safe taking dogs on a walk with just a collar. Other Pet Types: If you have other animals that need boarding or looked after like rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards, birds, turtles, fish, cats, I have experience with all sorts of animals. I am also a Master Gardener and can take care of plants inside and out. The fees vary for these services. So, please, feel free to ask. My Home: I keep a very clean house, and it is very well taken care of. I do not leave dog food lying around. Fresh water dishes outside and in daily. My wooden stairs have treads, but I will carry elderly dogs up and down if necessary. I have gates up in certain areas to prevent escapes or from going somewhere they shouldn’t. I will send photo/text updates. I'm fairly flexible! As those that have used me before would attest too. If you have a missed flight or traffic problem and require an unexpected overnight stay it usually is fine. It would just require another nights charge. Drop-offs and pick-ups can be anywhere between 6:45am and 7:30pm. I am a little flexible, but much earlier or later would require an overnight stay. All animals are fed and let out before I leave for work. As soon as I return they are given treats and let outside to run around. I am home a lot so my backdoor is usually open. They run in and out while I am inside cooking or working on art. Mostly they just want to be where I am which is fine by me! 😋 We let animals stay on our furniture... that's why only small dogs. :-) If your dog is elderly we will not let on furniture out of fear for hurting themselves jumping off. If you want your pet to stay in a crate you must provide it. All pets are fed in separate areas. Water is refreshed daily or more often if needed. We also have toys... as some of our guests have found favorites and go back to them when they come over again!
“Kathleen was great and communicative. I love that she took the time to made sure my dog was comfortable before I left and sent pictures of the hike they went on and how she was doing. I would love to book her next time I'm in Logan!”

I would highly recommend….my puppy always seemed very content and happy after a day spent with tycilea ,she also came home tired and ready to snooze.Given how hard it is to tire out a Siberian husky I was quite impressed ……she also acted very excited every time I took her back to daycare….

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
