About: Because I would spend time and care for your babies just as they were mine. Animals are my soft spot and I tend to always fall in love with other people babies. Well it fits well since me and the kids are home majority of the time. So we can all share the responsibility of your love one. I care for them the same as the owner would care for their pets. Feed, walk and make sure to give them a lot of play time.
“Karen was able to help us out at the last minute and was such a huge help! She sent updates throughout the day on how Winnie was doing and her antics. She was flexible with our pickup and Winnie came home exhausted from a full day of play!”

About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own. Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Please understand that while we have experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs, we are currently unable to book dogs that are experiencing incontinence (even with diapers) and night time pacing/spatial disorientation/sleeplessness that comes with senility. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.
About: Hi there! I’m new to Rover but not new to caring for pets as we have a 10-year-old fur baby of our own and we've had him since he was a pup. I have board and sit both dogs and cats for families several times and realized how much we enjoyed their company and how easy it was for to us have them in our homes especially given that we've already have a very similar routine in caring for Jojo. Boarding Care: We take our dog out 4x per day; once in the morning (7-9am), afternoon (12-2pm), evening (5-7pm) and then at night (9-11pm) before bedtime. Food can be put out anytime, and happy to accommodate request on food instructions. About Jojo: he is our best little guard dog so the first couple of mins when you are entering his home he'll bark and sniff. He does adjust quickly and gets along well with other dogs around his size. He is our only dog so when you board with us your pet too will have a friend to play with. We do have a pet of our own and a good existing routine, so we are able to host quite seamlessly so you can board with peace of mind. We have over half an acre of fenced backyard so rest assured they are safe and will have plenty of space to mark their spots.
About: A FAMILY affair in Canine Care!! What makes us unique is that it's not just me taking care of the dogs—it's a whole family affair! With two energetic kids and a loving husband, our home is always buzzing with excitement and wagging tails. With over 30 years of experience in dog-sitting (Oh, my I’m telling my age!), I've honed my skills to provide top-notch care for your furry friends. Plus, having our own sweet 2-year-old pup has taught us even more about the joys of canine companionship. Specializing in puppy training and senior dog care, we ensure each dog gets the personalized attention they deserve to thrive. And hey, if you're new to Rover, don't forget to ask about our promo code for $20 off your first booking! Unfortunately, our cozy home isn't suitable for large dogs, but rest assured, we'll make sure your smaller pups have a blast and feel right at home. ***NO DOGS OVER 50 LBS***** Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily and weekly routine. While I work full-time, I have the flexibility to work from home, providing a comforting environment for your furry friend if they require boarding. Additionally, I'm available for in-home boarding, dog walks at your home, or boarding in your home. As a family, we prioritize the comfort and well-being of your pet, ensuring they feel at home. We only use crates during feeding times to prevent any issues such as allergies or stomach problems that may arise from other dogs eating each other's food. Our own dog enjoys free roam of our house, and we understand the importance of providing a similar environment for your furry friend. We don't have a fenced backyard, but rest assured, your pet will be walked numerous times a day. Dogs are welcome on furniture and receive plenty of hugs and affection throughout their stay. We're happy to follow any specific rules or preferences you have regarding your pet's behavior in our home.

About: I’m a huge animal lover and proud pet parent, so I understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands. I have about two years of experience caring for animals and genuinely enjoy giving them attention, exercise, and lots of love. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. My goal is always to make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home most of the time, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I’m able to take frequent potty breaks, walks, and playtime as needed. Your pet won’t be left alone for long periods and will get lots of care and attention while staying with me. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment where your animals can feel at home. I also have a small Pomeranian named Bentley who is very friendly and loves being around other dogs and cats. I always introduce pets carefully and make sure everyone is comfortable. Because I work from home most of the time, I’m able to supervise pets closely and make sure they are safe, relaxed, and well cared for throughout the day.

About: I have taken care of several dogs, cats and even bunnies! I am very intentional when sitting to care for the animals as if they were my own. I really enjoy getting to care for pets, they keep me company throughout my time outside work. I am intentional to play with them, feed them and just love on them and give them the attention they need to thrive! I am currently working at a cafe - the hour vary but it’s between 30-40 hrs a week. However I don’t work late or early so I’d be home to feed for dinner and breakfast and give the pets the attention they need. I am sure to make sure I follow all given instructions to the T. It’s my goal to make the animals feel safe and secure and as if their owners have never left :)
“Ashli truly has a heart for furry friends! My 13 year old Jack Russell mix takes a long time to get used to other people outside of our family, but she truly enjoys her time away at Ashli‘s place. Ashli has made her home and garden into a the perfect place for her doggie visitors. She sends through the sweetest photos of the dogs in her care and gives a thorough update of all their activities. So happy we connected via Rover!”

About: I grew up in a home full of beautiful pets! Puppies, cats! Rabbits! I come from a family that loves animals! My father had a farm! We had horses! Beautiful ones! I love animals! As a child, I wanted to be a veterinarian! As fate would have it, I’m a lawyer! But I grew up caring for and loving animals. I have some experience, thanks to my father's farm. We have a special room just for the little ones we look after! There is also a spacious yard where we can walk and play. They will be just as happy during their stay here as they are at home!

“Edward was amazing with my rescue dog, Dunkin. He took care of him the entire day, sent pictures and video updates through the app, and made me feel like my pup was in really good hands. Edward allowed Dunkin to roam freely around the house, didn't mind him getting on furniture, and made the whole experience really easy and stress free. He provides a laid back environment that really allows the dog and the owner to relax and not worry about a thing. I would 100% recommend him and I will definitely be using Edward again!”

About: I recently moved to Kennesaw and I’m so excited to connect with new families and their beloved pets in the area. I’ve been caring for animals professionally for several years through Rover and independent clients, and I bring a calm, confident presence to every home and every visit. I’m a stay-at-home mom to a sweet and curious two-year-old who often comes along with me for walks and drop-in visits scheduled before 3:30pm. She’s been around animals her whole life and is always gentle, quiet, and supervised. If you’d prefer solo visits, I’m happy to book those later in the day. I have hands-on experience with: Senior pets and animals with special needs Administering oral medications, injections, and topical treatments Dogs of all sizes and temperaments Cats, birds, reptiles, fish, small mammals, and even insects (yes, really!) I currently share my home with a sweet elderly dog named Molly and one quirky cat, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. Whether it’s a quick potty break, a long walk, or multiple check-ins while you’re away, I provide reliable, loving care with great communication and attention to detail. Let me know how I can help—I’d love to meet you and your animals! Since recently moving to Kennesaw, I’ve had to part ways with many of my long-time clients due to distance—but I’m looking forward to building new connections (and new routines) with pets and their people here! My schedule is very open right now, and I’m able to accommodate a wide range of visit times, whether you need early walks, midday check-ins, or evening care. Caring for animals is already a big part of my daily life. I live with my dog Molly and two quirky cats—Squid and Sashi—who keep things fun, fluffy, and interesting. Every day involves walks, feedings, medications if needed, scooping, snuggling, and lots of love, so incorporating visits with new pets into my routine feels natural and easy. As a stay-at-home mom to a one-year-old, I plan my day around caregiving. For visits before 3:30pm, my daughter usually tags along. She’s gentle, calm, and used to being around animals from day one. If you’d prefer solo visits, I’m happy to schedule those later in the day. Pet care isn’t just part of my job—it’s woven into my every day, and I truly love it. Whether I’m stopping by your home or welcoming your pet into mine, I do my best to make them feel safe, loved, and cared for like one of my own. I take the time to get to know each pet—their routines, quirks, and favorite things—so I can keep their days as calm and consistent as possible. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and attentive to your pet’s needs. I handle everything from feedings and walks to medications and playtime, and I’m always happy to follow any specific instructions you leave. I love giving updates with photos and little notes, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. At my house, pets are treated like family. I live with my dog Molly and two sweet (and very entertaining) cats, Squid and Sashi, so visiting pets need to be comfortable around other animals. I offer a cozy, clean, and pet-friendly space with plenty of room to relax and play. I’m home most of the day, which means lots of attention and a low-stress environment for pets who might be nervous in a new place. Whether it’s a walk around the block, a drop-in visit while you’re at work, or a weekend sleepover, I care for every animal with kindness, patience, and lots of love. ** I don’t currently offer overnight stays, but I’m happy to schedule multiple drop-in visits throughout the day to keep your pets comfortable and well-cared for in their own home. Whether it’s morning, midday, and evening check-ins—or just a custom schedule that works for you—I can make sure they’re fed, walked, played with, and given plenty of love and attention while you’re away.
About: I have always loved and cared for dogs. I welcome the opportunity to help in whatever capacity is needed. I can walk, play with, feed and give your pup the amount of love and attention they deserve and more. You will have nothing to worry about if you reach out to me. I am trustworthy and honest and have nothing but your dogs best interest at heart. I am in Acworth and closer to both Kennesaw and Woodstock. I am currently looking to take Rover work as it arises with no other job to interfere so that I can give my full attention to caring for your pet. I am currently able to make dog walking visits at your home and can take boarding in my home if I am free. Anything your pet needs, I will do my best to accommodate.

I would highly recommend….my puppy always seemed very content and happy after a day spent with tycilea ,she also came home tired and ready to snooze.Given how hard it is to tire out a Siberian husky I was quite impressed ……she also acted very excited every time I took her back to daycare….

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
