I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own currently, Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis.

Kim & her husband were great! She took detailed notes at our first meet and greet, which put me at ease that she would be on top of things. She sent an update and photo every day. Her house was clean and dog friendly, and their whole "vibe" was very calm and relaxed yet responsible. Will definitely use them again!

Ricky loves his home away from home. When my daughter picked him up, he didn't really want to leave. We are thankful he has this great place to stay when he can't travel with us. First time she’s been back in a while and she walked in like she owned the place! I love how well cared for she is.
Our doggies really had a great time with Kimberly! We have a senior dog that needed some extra TLC and she was wonderful to tend to his every need. They had walks and adventures. We will definitely have them stay with her the next time we need to go out of town. Highly recommend!!

Schedule
Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.
A typical day
Your pups will have daily Sniffari adventures around the backyard as well as afternoon/evening tv time to snuggle with me on the couch. I have plenty of toys and can play fetch with tennis balls. Anything the pups need to enjoy their staycation in my home!
