About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my lifelong love for animals, my hands-on experience, and my ability to care for pets of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and temperaments! 🐾❤️ I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have always had a special place in my heart for both cats and dogs. Since I was 14, I’ve gained experience with pet sitting, dog walking, and working at doggy daycare facilities. During my time at doggy daycares, I’ve cared for everything from large Great Danes and energetic Pit Bull mixes to tiny pups with big personalities! These experiences have taught me how to understand different behaviors, recognize body language, and provide safe, attentive care. I’m also very comfortable caring for multiple animals at once! Growing up, I’ve helped feral cats gradually become comfortable living indoors as loving house cats. If your kitty is a little feisty, nervous around strangers, or prefers their personal space, that’s perfectly okay! I understand how to recognize signs of stress, respect boundaries, and allow them to become comfortable with me at their own pace. The same goes for dogs who may be anxious, energetic, or need a little extra reassurance. I believe what truly makes me different is that I don’t expect every animal to behave the same way. Every pet has their own personality, comfort level, and needs, and I take the time to understand what makes them feel safe and happy. I’m experienced with feeding, dog walking, playtime, litter box cleaning and maintenance, maintaining routines, and providing companionship. I also offer house-sitting services, so your pets can remain comfortable in their familiar environment while I make sure your home is respected, tidy, and well cared for. Above all, I’m reliable, dependable, patient, and genuinely passionate about animals. About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was in high school! I had three dogs growing up, always had roommates with dogs and I just watched a friends dog for over a year while he looked for a place that allowed dogs. We have a large fenced yard with LOTS of room to run around and play. I’m currently a stay at home mom so I’m home to let dogs out as needed and allow them to not be crated all day! I’m home with my baby 6 days a week so I’m able to let your dog out as often as they need and we can go on walks as often as needed as well. I have a fenced in yard and a small relaxed dog here that loves to snuggle. We allow the dogs on our couch and when they aren’t resting we have an expansive, grass filled yard for the dogs to play. Dogs can either sleep in a crate or on a dog bed in our room with us. We also have a sunny back deck that our dog loves to sun bathe on!

About: Hi there! I’m new to Rover but not new to caring for pets as we have a 10-year-old fur baby of our own and we've had him since he was a pup. I have board and sit both dogs and cats for families several times and realized how much we enjoyed their company and how easy it was for to us have them in our homes especially given that we've already have a very similar routine in caring for Jojo. We do have a pet of our own and a good existing routine, so we are able to host quite seamlessly so you can board with peace of mind. We take our dog out 4x per day; once in the morning (7-9am), afternoon (12-2pm), evening (5-7pm) and then at night (9-11pm) before bedtime. Food can be put out anytime, and happy to accommodate requests on food instructions. We have over half an acre of fully fenced backyard, giving your pup plenty of safe, secure space to explore, stretch their legs, and do their business. We also live in a walk-friendly neighborhood and enjoy regular walks throughout the day. Between our spacious backyard and neighborhood strolls, your pup will have plenty of opportunities to get outside and explore.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats through the years since I was 3years old. Im gentle and loving and treat all pets like my own making sure they are cared for, loved, and I communicate with pics/ videos of ur pets happy and being cared for when they are anxious without their human. I work 3 days a week in Sugar Hill ga. I’m free on the weekends and off any two days during the weekday. I’m a homebody and a hiker if your dog needs some activity:) if something is damaged or if I notice weird activity with a pet, I will communicate it to the owner. I make sure the house was just as clean as it was left to me. I build trust by showing pictures and videos through out the day. I treat every pet as my baby, even if it’s an old baby lolol

About: I grew up on a farm and have a lot of experience with a variety of animals. I Have had animals my whole life esp dogs and love taking care of them. I will treat them as my own. I am always active so they will have lots of outdoor and play time. I am work close to home, and only work 3 days a week. But I do have 2 older responsible kids willing to do anything. I am always on the look out no matter where they are. I will meet their needs and I have a big fenced back yard for them to play in

Trace did a great job coordinating with us on times and was attentive to the instructions we left for our cats. He sent us daily updates and seemed to be able to give attention to our cats with very different personalities in the way they needed. You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
