About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was in high school! I had three dogs growing up, always had roommates with dogs and I just watched a friends dog for over a year while he looked for a place that allowed dogs. We have a large fenced yard with LOTS of room to run around and play. I’m currently a stay at home mom so I’m home to let dogs out as needed and allow them to not be crated all day! I’m home with my baby 6 days a week so I’m able to let your dog out as often as they need and we can go on walks as often as needed as well. I have a fenced in yard and a small relaxed dog here that loves to snuggle. We allow the dogs on our couch and when they aren’t resting we have an expansive, grass filled yard for the dogs to play. Dogs can either sleep in a crate or on a dog bed in our room with us. We also have a sunny back deck that our dog loves to sun bathe on!

About: I have always loved pets. I grew up around many dogs and cats all different sizes. I will love your dogs as much as I love mine. I will make sure to take them on walks, feed them, keep them active, and make them feel loved. I am currently on the look to find jobs so as of right now I have free days. I am available until I can find another job. When another job comes my availability will be different. At my home we always make sure to keep dogs safe, fed, and loved. At other clients or other family members house I give the pets a treat if allowed. I make sure they are safe on a leash or closed in area if outside or with any activity they are doing.
About: My parents have a 10-year-old husky who I help care for when I'm visiting them. I've taken her on long walks and stayed with her alone overnight. I generally work full-time Monday-Friday, but since I work from home, I often have flexibility with my schedule. Weekends are pretty open for me as well. My cat is indoor only, so I'm very conscious of opening and closing doors. If I need to leave her alone for an extended period of time, I ensure that she has adequate food and water as well as a clean litter box.

About: I’ve grown up with two golden doodles! I’ve taken care of and watched friends and families pets while they were away. I helped train my two dogs a lot when they were younger (tricks, crate training, etc.) I also have a kitten currently which has been such a fun experience!! Learning more about cats and just young animals and their personalities is also so important to me!!! I am unavailable Monday and Wednesday all day, but other than that I am free the rest of the week! Weekends will be good as long as it is scheduled in advance! I have a lot of downtime recently and wanted to do something nice to help others and also to be around animals!! I will make sure your pets are cared for in the way I care for mine; loved and attended to. Whatever requests or needs they have I will make sure to do those things for your pet, and if I was unsure or uncomfortable with a request I wouldn’t take it to make sure your pet gets the very best sitter! Trace did a great job coordinating with us on times and was attentive to the instructions we left for our cats. He sent us daily updates and seemed to be able to give attention to our cats with very different personalities in the way they needed. Really appreciate Trace being a cat owner so he understands how to adapt to cats personalities! Would definitely use again.
TJ was great with my two fur babies - we have 2 younger cats, 1 is disabled. She came to our home beforehand to see everything and get to know the cats. She was also very professional before we even met her in person and was willing to answer all of my questions/provide references. For the pet sitting, she was always on time, stayed the full time (usually a few minutes longer!) and let me know when my disabled cat received medication so I didn't have to stress when we were out of town. She followed all instructions and was thorough with her own questionnaire, and made sure to understand completely what was needed. She was also willing to assist with our disabled cat's special needs (sometimes he has accidents, and she was willing to help him if needed). He's also scared of unknown people, and can be a grouch, but TJ knew how to give him his space and still get everything done. We are incredibly appreciative of her help, thank you TJ for being a great sitter!!
I absolutely loved working with Charlotte!!! She has amazing communication skills and always keeps me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind. She treats my baby with so much love, patience, and care, and I could tell Brooklynn was completely comfortable with her. Charlotte is dependable, trustworthy, and truly goes above and beyond. Lauren was absolutely amazing! She cared for my three cats every day for two weeks while I was out of the country, and I truly felt completely at ease knowing they were with her. She was incredibly attentive by feeding them, playing with them every day, and consistently sending me photos and updates so I always knew how they were doing. She also went above and beyond the basic visits. Since I was away for so long, she was thoughtful about things like the temperature inside the house, taking out the trash, and making sure the litter and home stayed clean and fresh. It also seemed like she often stayed beyond the scheduled 30 minutes just to give the cats extra attention, which I really appreciated. Her communication was excellent throughout the entire trip, and it was obvious that she genuinely cared about my cats and their wellbeing. Having someone that reliable and attentive made being away from them for two weeks so much easier. I would absolutely hire Lauren again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pets!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
