They can also be a bit shy, but they must have felt comfortable with her instantly because they didn't hide at all! Instead, they came out to play, interact, and spend time with her. About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own currently, Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.

I build my schedule around clients needs. Mine eat at 8 AM and 6 pm and get outside for fresh air and a bio bark every 4-5 hours. In a client's home, I leave absolutely no trace I have ben there. Extreme attention to detail, respect for your environment, and I follow instructions with precision. In my home, I follow the schedule I am given and keep a low and slow approach, giving them space, time, and calm/quiet emotional support to adjust. In both environments you will receive videos, pics, and updates multiple times per day.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals from dogs to cats and even rats. I have pet-sat for neighbors and family since I was 15 and have recently gotten a new cat since moving to college. I have also dealt with animals with special needs including my family dog that has seizures and another family dog that is deaf, blind and has to receive insulin injections after every meal. My schedule is currently very open and I am available any day throughout the week as well as weekends. I am not currently looking for too many overnight stays because I do have 2 cats of my own to watch after. I have 2 very spoiled cats of my own that gets all of the attention that I can provide as well as daily play time and brushing. I keep to a very strict feeding schedule because one of my cat does have some food insecurity issues so I try to be very mindful of that. While taking care of my family’s dogs that require medical attention, I keep a check off list next to the food in order to insure that their medications that are either taken with or taken right after food are administered accordingly.

About: I have always taken care of animals since a very young age. I have pet sat for my family and friends for years. I absolutely adore animals and am now working in a pet hospital for that reason! I have worked with dogs as small as 4 pounds and dogs as big as 120 pounds. I believe some animals just need someone to take the time to understand them, some need a little more care and attention. I am currently working part-time at an animal hospital which means during slow seasons I have plenty of extra time on my hands. I am mostly available on week days and very rarely on weekends. I have no problem adjusting to your pets needs whether it’s to be smothered in kisses and rubs or to simply just keep them company (the second is more so for cats as I know some prefer company over cuddles). On days I work from home (which is Monday, Thursday and Friday) I’m able to be present and attentive, and on office days (Tuesdays and Wednesday's) I plan my schedule carefully to ensure pets receive the care they need. As a pet owner myself, caring for animals is already a part of my everyday life. I treat my mini dachshund like he is my child. I enjoy spending time with pets, whether that’s going for walks, going to the park, playing, providing cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I also have a nanny cam that I check in on when I am away. I prioritize reliability, communication, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. As a mini dachshund owner, I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, love, and care while you’re away. I’ve cared for friends’ dogs in my home before and always work to make them feel comfortable by sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I tailor my care to each pet’s needs.
