For the last 5 years I have worked as a Kennel Assistant at various companies and I now currently work at Woodstock Pet Resort! I love working with animals and have the trainings needed to care for your furry animal. At my job, I feed and medicate animals, watch for body language, and monitor over 25 dogs at a time during day care.

I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and safe while their owner is away. I make sure they have fresh food and water, bathroom breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also keep the home clean and send regular photo and text updates so owners know their pets are doing well. I’m patient, attentive, and always try to make pets feel calm and cared for in their own environment. I love working with dogs with high energy and making sure they end the day sleepy! I have also felt with more anxious dogs, like ones scared of thunderstorms. I know it is not easy, but I am willing to slow down, match their pace and do what’s needed, to make them feel as at peace as possible.

Caylen went above and beyond anything I could’ve asked! She left my home cleaner than she found it, which was nice coming back from vacation! Caylen was attentive to all of my pets and I enjoyed seeing the pics she sent:)

We are so grateful for the wonderful care Caylen provided for our old man. She handled his shyness with such patience and kindness, and it was clear she genuinely cared about his well being. She was extremely punctual, dependable, and consistently went above and beyond. Her communication was excellent throughout our time away, keeping us updated and giving us peace of mind that he was in great hands. We came home to a happy, well cared for dog and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️

i have a super high energy lab that keeps me up at night. i was worried that 3 walks a day wasn’t going to be enough. she offered to walk him 10x a day and played with him in our yard until he was wore out! he slept all through the night when i got back! i also loved all the cute pictures she sent!
Finding someone I trusted to care for my diabetic senior dog felt nearly impossible. He requires insulin injections twice a day, careful monitoring of his eating habits, and a lot of patience due to his age. Caylen handled every aspect of his care with confidence and compassion. Before I left, she took the time to understand his medication schedule, signs to watch for, and the little things that helped keep him comfortable. Throughout my time away, she kept me updated on how he was eating, resting, and responding to his routine. Knowing that someone was paying such close attention to his health gave me tremendous peace of mind. When I returned home, my dog was calm, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. It's rare to find someone who can manage both the medical responsibilities and the emotional needs of an aging pet. I would wholeheartedly recommend Caylen to anyone, especially those with pets who require extra care and attention.

Schedule
I work part time at Woodstock Pet Resort. So, when I’m not scheduled to work, I leave my availability for my Rover clients. Working with pets is something that comes naturally to me now and is something that has just clicks with me. :)
