I worked as a veterinary technician for several years before becoming a teacher. I love meeting and taking care of new animals and would love to help you when you need it. I have over 20 years of experience taking care of a variety of animals. I have owned dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, guinea pigs, geckos, chameleons and birds. I am very comfortable around all types of dogs and cats, even very anxious ones. I am very comfortable giving medicine (pills, topicals, liquids and shots). I have a very active and anxious dog that we adopted two years ago. She is not our first rescue, but she definitely takes the most work (German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois mix), so I'm no stranger to highly active breeds.

Safety, trust & environment
In my clients home I will defer to what the normal routine for that animal is. I can stop by up to three times a day but cannot do overnights nor can I take animals in my home. My dog is very anxious, we adopted her two years ago and are working on building her confidence, but it would be too much stress for her to have another animal in our house.
Ratings and reviews
Tara often watches our dog Arya when we are out of town. She always does a fantastic job, and we feel very safe with Arya at home. Tara is very communicative and often sends updates and videos to let us know that Arya is safe and having a great time. I can’t recommend Tara highly enough!
