About: If there's a cat or dog at a party, you'll probably find me sitting on the floor making friends with them. As a cat mom to three torties [a kitten and two seniors] animals are a huge part of my life. I genuinely love getting to know each pet's personality and earning their trust. From playful kittens and puppies to sweet senior pets, I have experience caring for animals of all ages, including administering medication when needed. I'll care for your pet with the same love and attention I give my own. 🤍 I am flexible and can accommodate timing to your pets schedule. Whether they need a morning drop-in, a midday walk, or a full playtime session, I can tend to your fur baby's needs. Upon greeting them, I provide full attention to your pet. I will give them play time, cuddles, and any designated meals or medications. I ensure they feel secure and calm while their loved one is away.
About: I grew up loving and having many pets. As I’m older now and changing careers would love to take care of others babies while they are away. I know how hard it is to find the right person. I help my family members all the time with their pets when they are away. I am able to walk or come feed pets anytime during the day or night. If you need someone to spend the night I can do this as well. I will ensure all your animals needs are taken care of from feeding, play time and snuggling if they like that. I would make sure they are on their leashes and safe before we go on walks.
“Donne has been super easy to work with. I have to be in the office two days a week, and my only option would be to leave my dog Hazel in her crate for upwards of 8 hours on those days, so having Donne come over and take Hazel for a walk, has taken that stress away. She lets herself in, takes my dog for a walk, give's her some water and a treat, and then puts her back in the crate. She locks the door on the way out. If you have the chance to book with her, I can tell you that you can trust that she'll take good care of your animal, and won't have to stress over it.”

About: I travel for work occasionally and have needed dog sitters of my own in the past, so I know the importance of finding someone reliable and that you can trust to care for your fur-pets when you can’t be there! I’m an absolute dog and animal lover! I have a Staffordshire of my own who is 11, so I have experience with bigger dogs as well! I own and run my own business, and work from home mainly during the week. I have flexible availability, so reach out and let’s see if I can be of service to you! Just let me know how you would like for me to care for your pup when you can’t be there and I’ll be of utmost service to you!
“Lindsey was great and I would highly recommend her as a dog walker. She took care of my 19 year old Beagle and gave him his meds and food while we were out. Great job!”

“I hired Caden to walk my Shepard Husky gal when I was in a trio. He was very responsive and good with getting her energy out and always remembered her frozen treat before he left. Highly recommend”

“Katie did an outstanding job walking our two dogs. Her level of responsibility was truly commendable, and it was evident that our dogs absolutely loved her! Not only did she provide us with daily updates, but she also shared pictures of their time together. Additionally, Katie went above and beyond by keeping an eye on our cat, despite having a neighbor feeding him. We were genuinely impressed with her care and attention to detail. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Katie and fully trust her to walk our dogs again the next time we're away.”
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has been caring for pets since I was 10 years old. Over the years, I’ve helped neighbors, family members, and friends by pet sitting, dog walking, and providing loving care while they’re away. I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for when you can’t be with them. I pride myself on being reliable, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs and personality. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their regular routine, I’m committed to making them feel comfortable and loved. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always strive to provide peace of mind for pet parents. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work a hybrid schedule, which gives me flexibility to provide pets with plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. On days I work from home (which is Monday, Thursday and Friday) I’m able to be present and attentive, and on office days (Tuesdays and Wednesday's) I plan my schedule carefully to ensure pets receive the care they need. As a pet owner myself, caring for animals is already a part of my everyday life. I treat my mini dachshund like he is my child. I enjoy spending time with pets, whether that’s going for walks, going to the park, playing, providing cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I also have a nanny cam that I check in on when I am away. I prioritize reliability, communication, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. As a mini dachshund owner, I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, love, and care while you’re away. I’ve cared for friends’ dogs in my home before and always work to make them feel comfortable by sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I tailor my care to each pet’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual schedule and any specific instructions to help their pet feel safe, comfortable, and stress free. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: I'm a crazy dog mom myself (literally, my dog is my life), so I know how hard it is to have peace of mind when they're not in your care. When your fur baby is with me, they will be one of the pack, get lots of love, enjoy my big backyard, and be taken care of just as you would. I'm close to a great dog park and a hiking/walking trail and creek, so if your dog loves adventures or needs plenty of exercise, they'll get it with me! It's super important to me to be respectful of whatever special instructions or preferences you have regarding your pet, so you can count on the fact that your wishes will be done. Safety is another huge priority for me as well as making sure that your pet is comfortable and feels secure when you're away.

About: I’ve had pets all my life, from Great Danes and kittens, to ferrets and lizards. I have pet sat for strangers, family and friends and have volunteered at a shelter. I previously worked at a grooming salon. I currently have a French bulldog and a cat. I work from home full time and have my son here at night. I am available whenever needed and can also offer transportation if needed. I have 100% supervision and a not-so-large space with baby gates. I have a 6 year old that is very active so I’m used to being alert/safe all the time.

I can’t say enough amazing things about our dog walker — she’s truly a lifesaver and one of the most trustworthy, loving, and professional people. From the very first meet-and-greet, it was obvious that she gets dogs on a deeper level. This isn’t just a side hustle for her — she genuinely cares for animals like they’re her own, and it shows in every single interaction. We have two mini Goldendoodles,, and they are OBSESSED with her. Somehow, she manages both of their personalities perfectly — giving Corduroy the mental stimulation and playful energy he needs, while also matching Cruella’s calm, cuddly vibe. She pays attention, and keeps them happy, safe, and socialized. She’s incredibly reliable — always shows up on time, communicates clearly, and sends the best updates (complete with photos and fun little notes that make my day!). She takes the time to actually bond with your dogs, not just walk them. What really stands out is the extra care she puts in. On days I needed help last minute, she was flexible. Even on long workdays, I never worry — I know my dogs are getting the best possible care. She’s not just a dog walker — she’s part of our extended family now.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
