“Ana does a great job with Daisy! Daisy loves to go on walks with her. We've had Ana walk Daisy many times and we are very happy with her services. I definitely recommend her 😊”

“Donna is great! Very communicative and provides updates and lots of pics. She did a meet-and-greet and took great care of our 10yr old dog while we were away. Fantastic experience; will use her again!”

About: With over 30 years of pet ownership and caregiving experience, I provide reliable, loving, and attentive in-home care so your pets stay comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. Following your pet’s established routines and familiar commands, I’ll ensure they feel secure and comfortable in your absence. You’ll receive photo updates and feedback on each visit, with communication as frequently as you desire. I believe great pet care goes beyond the basics. In addition to basic needs, I focus on mental enrichment, playtime, and companionship. Engaging your pet helps reduce potential anxiety, boredom, and destructive behavior in your absence. I provide gentle, patient care for pets who require extra attention and am experienced in the event of any emergencies. Currently, I own a sweet 12-year-old Senior Labrador and two rescued Lab mixes. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and ages as well as small animals such as rabbits, hamsters, ducks and fish. I provide full-time pet care with a flexible schedule to meet all needs. I am available weekdays and weekends, including overnight stays, drop-ins, and walks as needed. I care for pets as if they were my own, always prioritizing their safety, comfort, and routine. In my clients’ homes, I follow all care instructions closely, maintain a calm and clean environment, and ensure doors, gates, and feeding areas are secure. I respect each pet’s unique needs, provide plenty of attention and enrichment, and keep owners updated for peace of mind. Trust, consistency, and a stress-free experience are always my top priorities.

About: I worked as a veterinary technician for several years before becoming a teacher. I love meeting and taking care of new animals and would love to help you when you need it. I have over 20 years of experience taking care of a variety of animals. I have owned dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, guinea pigs, geckos, chameleons and birds. I am very comfortable around all types of dogs and cats, even very anxious ones. I am very comfortable giving medicine (pills, topicals, liquids and shots). I have a very active and anxious dog that we adopted two years ago. She is not our first rescue, but she definitely takes the most work (German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois mix), so I'm no stranger to highly active breeds. I am a teacher and on summer break right now. I have lots of time to stop by and help you take care of your fur babies. In my clients home I will defer to what the normal routine for that animal is. I can stop by up to three times a day but cannot do overnights nor can I take animals in my home. My dog is very anxious, we adopted her two years ago and are working on building her confidence, but it would be too much stress for her to have another animal in our house.
“She is truly great! She had to wait a long time for me to give her a code to get in today and it was all my fault and she patiently waited for me. I am so thankful for that because she could’ve left but she patiently waited for me so she could see about my puppy. ❤️❤️”

About: I work full time from home, and am available to keep an eye on your pup all day! I walk dogs every two hours, and have plenty of toys, and a a 1/2 acre yard. I live in a cul de sac with two other homes— it is very quiet and there is tons of walking room. I have a full basement and garage—- plenty of space for dogs to run around. I have a kennel if needed, but I am completely ok with dogs on the furniture. They love to sleep in the bed with me! As long as your dog is dog friendly and potty trained (accidents are ok but I try to avoid anything on the furniture) then this will be an easy stay. I have two small dogs that love to play! I can walk your dogs every two hours. I can feed on whatever schedule makes sense. Whatever you need… just let me know, please and we can make it work. I have a huge yard and two fur babies to keep your dogs company. I have a crate, if needed. Im available at home to keep an eye on your pup.
“absolutely the best dog walker on Rover. our dog Mikey looks forward every day to his friend Valerie coming to play! shes such a sweet caring lady who truly loves our buddy just as much ad we do 🐶♥️”

“Piper was extremely professional from the start to finish! She always kept us updated on our animals with pictures, gps walks, # of poop & pee breaks. Will be using her again for sure!”

“Katie did an outstanding job walking our two dogs. Her level of responsibility was truly commendable, and it was evident that our dogs absolutely loved her! Not only did she provide us with daily updates, but she also shared pictures of their time together. Additionally, Katie went above and beyond by keeping an eye on our cat, despite having a neighbor feeding him. We were genuinely impressed with her care and attention to detail. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Katie and fully trust her to walk our dogs again the next time we're away.”
About: I've owned both cats and dogs my whole life. I grew up caring for my animals as well as those of friends and family around me. I have also cared for animals over weeks/weekends while their owners were out of town. I currently have several furry friends, including a senior Shih Tzu, a young Shih Tzu, and an adult pit mix. I have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your furry friend. I work remotely, so I have the freedom to make my own schedule. I can arrange my days so that your pet's routine is the priority, and I can work around caring for your pets on weekdays and weekends. Daily walks in their neighborhood and play at the local dog park. Maintaining a routine and schedule. I can keep your dog safe, happy, and comfortable while you are away.
About: I grew up loving and having many pets. As I’m older now and changing careers would love to take care of others babies while they are away. I know how hard it is to find the right person. I help my family members all the time with their pets when they are away. I am able to walk or come feed pets anytime during the day or night. If you need someone to spend the night I can do this as well. I will ensure all your animals needs are taken care of from feeding, play time and snuggling if they like that. I would make sure they are on their leashes and safe before we go on walks.

About: Hi! I'm Sydney, a young adult with a flexible schedule looking to incorporate some pet sitting into my summer. I'm new to Rover, but have been working with and caring for pets for close to 10 years! I love any and all animals, and have the professional experience to back up that enthusiasm! I've cared for pets my whole life, including my own senior cats with specific diet and medicinal needs. I've also cared for dogs of every kind - literally from Shih Tzus to German Shepherds and everything in between! In addition, I have experience with birds, reptiles, and fish: I love exotic pets just as much as I love furry friends. I can't wait to meet yours! Friends and family describe me as responsible and organized - I want you to enjoy your time away from home without worrying about any logistics. My goal is to take excellent care of your pets while also handling the little things: feeding your fish, watering your plants, bringing in your mail, taking out your trash... whatever will make your life easier! I am currently working part time (20-30 hrs/week) at the Chattahoochee Nature Center, so I am locally available and flexible for multiple visits per day. Please reach out for specific times/dates/scheduling details! I am not able to offer boarding services at this time, but am more than happy to adjust my care relative to your home, yard, and spatial needs.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Vandiver Heights
Imge was outstanding as always. Great communication and care. Went above and beyond when she discovered a sore on our dog's foot. She took pictures and let us know what was going on, treated it, and made sure or did was comfortable and exercised without aggravating it, all while checking how we wanted to handle the issue. Our dog, Pretzel, loves her and we highly recommend Imge for any dog care.

I can’t say enough amazing things about our dog walker — she’s truly a lifesaver and one of the most trustworthy, loving, and professional people. From the very first meet-and-greet, it was obvious that she gets dogs on a deeper level. This isn’t just a side hustle for her — she genuinely cares for animals like they’re her own, and it shows in every single interaction. We have two mini Goldendoodles,, and they are OBSESSED with her. Somehow, she manages both of their personalities perfectly — giving Corduroy the mental stimulation and playful energy he needs, while also matching Cruella’s calm, cuddly vibe. She pays attention, and keeps them happy, safe, and socialized. She’s incredibly reliable — always shows up on time, communicates clearly, and sends the best updates (complete with photos and fun little notes that make my day!). She takes the time to actually bond with your dogs, not just walk them. What really stands out is the extra care she puts in. On days I needed help last minute, she was flexible. Even on long workdays, I never worry — I know my dogs are getting the best possible care. She’s not just a dog walker — she’s part of our extended family now.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
