“Peyton was a great dog walker! She was very helpful and was even very flexible around my confusing directions for her. She followed all the directions I gave her and I could really trust her in my home. I really felt like she cared about our dog and took some very cute pictures. 10/10 would book again!”

“Annabelle is reliable and kind! And she took our dog on a great walk, he really seemed to be excited about her! She also went above and beyond and switched out our water bowl so he had fresh water. We will definitely continue to book with her and 100% recommend.”

“Ryan did a fantastic job walking my dog, Molly! He was punctual, caring, and attentive to her needs. Molly seemed very happy and relaxed after their walk, and I appreciate the effort Ryan put into making sure she had a great time. I would definitely recommend Ryan to anyone looking for a reliable dog sitter.”

About: I have always loved all kinds of animals. I grew up befriending and taking care of multiple neighborhood pets. I ran a pet sitting business for most of my childhood. I recently worked at a vets office and have experience with all kinds of animals in all kinds of conditions. This also means that I have experience taking care of sick pets or being able to medicate when instructed. I have been a long time cat lover, now having three live with me in my home. Each have their own unique personalities and traits, no cat is "just a cat" to me. I have my older scaredy cat, my middle aged "annoying" brother cat, and our sweet rambunctious younger girl cat. I think I have a good personality for meeting new cats and usually can get them to warm up to me in time. I am quiet, calm, and clean, content to spend time with the smallest of your family. I am looking to do more and more cat sitting, I will be available all summer! I would love to spend more time with your pet. In my own home I do daily litter box cleanings, food and water bowl swaps, and play multiple times a day. Generally pet's worlds are our homes and I believe it is important their world is clean and stimulating.
“Ludmilla is an excellent and reliable dog walker!! She’s responsive, punctual, and our Frenchie adores her! It’s a relief to know when we need our pup taken care of, that she’s in good hands! We’d definitely recommend!”

“My dogs love Jeremy! He really went above and beyond to take care of them and is an excellent communicator. I feel at ease leaving my dogs in his care. Highly recommend!”

“Wonderful person to talk to, follows instructions well, communicates ahead of time if things come up for cancelations, and treats my dog really well. I enjoy and appreciate Jasmine so much for the love and help she offers. Thank you Jasmine you are amazing!”

“Edward has been absolutely wonderful with my little Noah! ☺️ He is so sweet, kind, accommodating, and dependable. Noah took to him immediately, which gave me such peace of mind. Edward is always prompt and communicates throughout the visit, letting me know how Noah is doing, whether he ate and used the bathroom, and sending the sweetest pictures from their adventures. He took Noah on a great walk and gave him time to explore the neighborhood instead of rushing him. Edward also offered doggy daycare, which has been such a blessing it gives Mommy a much needed full-day break while Noah gets to play with his new friends, Izzy and Julio, enjoy his walks, and stay on his regular feeding schedule. Noah came home happy after having such a great time! I recently broke my ankle and haven’t been able to walk my little baby or take him outside to play the way I normally would. That has caused me a lot of worry and anxiety, but Edward has truly eased my mind. Knowing Noah is receiving such attentive, loving care means more to me than I can express. Edward’s services have been completely worth it and exactly what we needed. We truly appreciate him and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and genuinely wonderful with dogs! 🩵🐾”

“Paola is everything you are looking for in a dog walker. Great communication, very attentive to my dogs needs, and very friendly. I hope she is always available when I need someone to take care of Coco”

About: My dog recently passed due to age, which means I have experience caring for a pet of all ages. I have a lot of free time over the summer and simply can not wait to give your dog a hug! I miss it:) I have plenty of space, time, & excitement to watch your pet, and I know how stressed I used to be when I’d leave my dog with someone so I will definitely keep you updated with photos, videos, etc🤍 I am open to any schedules and preferences you have as well. I would love to dedicate much of this free time to caring for your pet, making him/her feel at best while your away! I love movie nights to snuggle with your pup! About: I've had a variety of pets since I was little--from a pet pig, dog, and sphinx cat-- in addition to the one I have now. Caring for these pets has given me a variety of skills to make sure your dog is safe and has fun at the same time. Whether it's dog walking, playtime, and cleaning--your dog is in good hands! I am currently a full-time student at Georgia State studying Journalism and Law and I work part-time at CraveWell Cafe. However, most of my classes are online and I mostly work closing shifts so I am always free in the mornings and sometimes weekends. My schedule is pretty flexible though if you let me know when you want me to pet sit in advance! To care for pets, is to treat them like your best friend. When I meet a dog for the first time we are instantly best friends. With my dog-sitting, not only will your dog be in trusted hands, but they will also make a new best friend along the way!

About: Hi! I'm Sydney, a young adult with a flexible schedule looking to incorporate some pet sitting into my summer. I'm new to Rover, but have been working with and caring for pets for close to 10 years! I love any and all animals, and have the professional experience to back up that enthusiasm! I've cared for pets my whole life, including my own senior cats with specific diet and medicinal needs. I've also cared for dogs of every kind - literally from Shih Tzus to German Shepherds and everything in between! In addition, I have experience with birds, reptiles, and fish: I love exotic pets just as much as I love furry friends. I can't wait to meet yours! Friends and family describe me as responsible and organized - I want you to enjoy your time away from home without worrying about any logistics. My goal is to take excellent care of your pets while also handling the little things: feeding your fish, watering your plants, bringing in your mail, taking out your trash... whatever will make your life easier! I am currently working part time (20-30 hrs/week) at the Chattahoochee Nature Center, so I am locally available and flexible for multiple visits per day. Please reach out for specific times/dates/scheduling details! I am not able to offer boarding services at this time, but am more than happy to adjust my care relative to your home, yard, and spatial needs.
About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have experience with puppies, energetic adults and senior dogs, including administering medications, accommodating mobility limitations, and providing the extra patience and attention older dogs deserve. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog in the care of someone new- I myself never allowed anyone but family to watch over my dog, Aleu, so I truly know what it feels like to want someone who will treat them like family. Every dog has a unique personality and routine, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable, safe and loved. Whether your pup loves long walks, endless games of fetch, or simply curling up for quiet cuddles, I’ll make sure they receive the same kindness, affection and individualized care I would want for my own dog. I am currently the General Manager of a local restaurant in downtown Roswell. The hours can be long BUT I am so lucky to live on the same street that I work on! My coworkers were always incredibly accommodating when it came to checking on my pup for potty breaks, feedings and walks, especially when her health needed additional attention. They know how much I adore dogs and will be just as forgiving if I need to run out to check on your pup too! My schedule can be tight, I will be honest. But I miss taking care of my best friend and I have a lot of love to give, so I am happy to rearrange my calendar in order to share the love with your pup too. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions, keep routines as consistent as possible, and provide regular updates with photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. Caring for my senior dog taught me that every stage of a dog’s life deserves patience, compassion and unconditional love. So, whether I’m caring for your pup in my home or yours, I’ll ensure they have a clean, secure, low-stress environment filled with patience, affection, playtime and plenty of attention. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable from the moment we meet until you’re reunited.
About: I am a pet obsessed, driven individual that loves to take walks, have play time, and snuggle. I’ve been trusted to take care of many of my friends and family pets while they were away. I work full time remotely which means I can spend plenty of time with your pets throughout the day while working from your home. I also have open availability on weekends. I make sure to make my clients pets feel at ease and comfortable while not changing up their normal routine as best as I can. I want them to feel just as loved and taken care of as when their parents are home!

I found Lauren on Rover and she was able to meet me the next day to do a home visit. She was able to start walking my dog immediately and was fabulous. She is a kind and friendly person and connected to Baxter right away. Would highly recommend her for anyone! Thank you Lauren.

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Westfield. On Rover:
- 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
