About: I can’t recall life without a dog, nor would I want to! Growing up we had two Jack Russel’s, a Beagle, and a Dachshund. When I was in high school, I got my very first job at a dog boarding facility a short four wheel drive through our woods. My responsibilities there were to let dogs out, love on, clean/sanitize kennels, feed and administer medications, and clean up the dog yards. As an adult, my first dog was a West Highland Terrier named Gabby that my then fiancé (now husband) surprised me with. She sadly passed at 14.5 years old in October of 2024. We also have bench bred/English Labradors named Abel & Jett. Jett is the first dog I’ve had that I got involved with dog shows and sports with. He has multiple titles from obedience, dock diving, fast cat, conformation, and hunt tests. I am a stay at home mom to a 13, 10, 4, and 1 year old. This allows me the freedom to be available for your dog majority of the day aside from when I need to run errands. HOME SETUP: I have a fenced in backyard with access through the basement. Our dogs hang out with us upstairs, however when we run errands, have people over, or it’s raining outside I have a dog room in the basement with 3 4ft x 6ft kennels with Kuranda beds. When I have client dogs staying, my labs will stay downstairs in the basement and the client dogs will stay upstairs with us. I also have a baby gate on our laundry room doorway off the kitchen that can be used for client dogs to have their own private space. This allows me to ensure everyone stays safe when not supervised. When boarding dogs in my home, I only board one client at a time. This allows your dog(s) to get all the attention and, I believe, have an easier transition staying in a new place vs there being multiple dogs from different clients. With the experience and love for animals that I have, along with our dog room set up and fenced in back yard, you can rest assured that your beloved pet will be well taken care of and loved on during their stay.
About: Experience with puppies, high energy dogs and senior dogs. Would love to have your pup become friends with our dogs! Experience with oral medicine as well. I work from home and I’m available to spend time with your pup most of the day, go out for walks during the day and playtime! I have 2 super friendly dogs to keep your dog company. We don’t crate dogs, if your dog needs to be crated that is possible.
About: My family got their first dog, Princess, a Chinese Pug, when I was just 7 years old. She brought us joy for many years. We decided to add an addition to the family, Timber, a Golden Retriever, when I was 13. We got a second Golden Retriever, Poulan, when I was 15. These dogs brought me such joy and contentment for so long, when I was 23 I decided to get a dog of my very own. I got Rex, a Golden Retriever/ Labrador Retriever mix, when he was just seven weeks old. He is now my 12 year old fur baby. I wouldn't trade my life with him for anything in the world. I hope my Care and Compassion Fur Companions will ease the pain of separation while you're away from your beloved fur babies; and, know they'll be in loving hands. I work from home so there will be frequent snuggles and potty breaks. It's easiest to do meet and greets in the evening or weekend, but can accommodate a mid-week lunch time meet up if needed. I have a 3 sided fenced yard and my boy, Rex, to help keep your pup company while they are away from their pet parents.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 12, and neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets. I'm currently working 20 hours per week from home, so I have plenty of time to play with and walk your pets. I am available for boarding and day care on weekends, and anytime during the weekdays. I have a fenced yard and an energetic pup to keep your dog company! They are great with other big or small dogs and puppies, and we have never had any incidents. I'm also happy to take the dogs to a nearby dog park, if that's what you prefer. I will keep in touch with the owner every day to let you know how your dog is doing.
About: I am now an officially licensed and insured business named “Purr & Grrr LLC.” I’ve had my own dog and cat for the past 15 years. I have also house sitted and watched other dogs and cats as well. I’ve worked as a practice manager at a pet hospital for years. Due to recent events, I will not take dogs that are not neutered for boarding. My cat stays in my bedroom with no interactions with any of the dogs. I usually ask with requests about excessive barking, crate training, how they sleep, and how they interact with other dogs. ADDED SERVICE - At request, my girlfriend does Reiki for people and pets. $55 charge per session for animals and $100 for a 60 minute session for people. Mini sessions for $60. When booking, please let me know if you are interested. Her company is called Cosmic Balance. Thank you! UPDATE. You will see a recent review for me from an owner who wasn’t honest about the dog and his behaviors and how he treated his dog with “training.” I don’t want to share the details of what his dog did because it was horrible and he laughed about it. I have and always will take the action that is for the safety and care of all of the pets I care for as I do this because I love animals. All of them. So the updates for safety that I have taken are the following. 1. All dogs unless they are from the same family will be outside by themselves. 2. While they will never be out with another dog besides a related dog, I have purchased pepper spray, dog whistles, and several other items to react in such a situation if anything happens. 3. I’ve lowered the amount of pets that I take at a time. 4. I thoroughly ask questions and vet whoever I’m watching to make sure it’s safe for all parties. 5. I have always had cameras wherever the pets are, and will continue to do so. 6. I have a calming pets video playing 24/7 for all pets. 7. I have a thermometer that monitors temperatures at all times and sets off alarms if it’s too low or too high. 8. I will no longer watch breeds that can be aggressive. Unfortunately this individual treated their dog with abuse in his response and something triggered him to attack another friends dog in my care that I needed to respond in order to break up his dog attacking another dog that resulted in two surgeries requiring a complete reconstruction of her ear and an infection with pet bills that he paid for, not rover. That poor dogs owner can attest to that and has been in communication and I will continue to be her dog sitter because her dog is so sweet and wouldn’t even know how to defend herself. The situation upset me deeply and this person was vindictive and manipulative. I’ve never encountered something like this before or a human being who would laugh at such a thing, or attempt to harm my business in such a way. Please be assured that your pet will be treated with care, safety, and kindness. I work full time but I live 10 minutes from my job. All pets get walked frequently and checked on frequently and are well taken care of. I’m in a house now with a fenced in backyard with plenty of room. I have crates, bowls, toys, and plenty of space in the house where the pets will stay. It is climate controlled along with cameras, TVs, a very large play area, and calming music is played at all times.

About: I’ve had dogs and pets around me since I was born, I grew up with 4 dogs! Two precious little things and two very big girls, not to mention the family parrot. I worked in a pet store for years and have experience washing, blow drying, de-shedding, de-matting, nail trimming, dremeling, ear cleaning, and toothbrushing etc, plus Cat nail trims too! I also know how to transport senior dogs, lift and handle reluctant big dogs, and small feisty babes. Dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperament! At the store I had training in all these things, and have extensive knowledge about dog nutrition and health. I’ve been the family/neighborhood go to for pet care for over 10 years, and am now a professional pet sitter. I’ve been professionally caring for animals for almost 6 years. Really shy cats that hide from strangers take quite a shine to me, as well as anxious rescues. They’re my specialty! I work part time, and my daily schedule is pretty open. I pick up pet sitting and caretaking visits that don’t last the whole day. So even if I am working or have jobs, it’s a fraction of my day and there’s plenty of room for more visits. There are no days of the week that are consistently blocked out of my schedule. My number one priority when pet sitting and even dog walking, is providing the love and interaction your beloveds need when their parents are away. Just stopping by to leave food out and jetting off is not my style. I build real friendships with my clients’ pets. Those bonds are very important to me. Whenever a client needs me again their pet recognizes me and it’s truly a reunion. Playtime, cuddles, just friends catching up. Trust, respect, and kindness is my motto! Practical duties include feeding, fresh water, litter boxes, walks, administering medicine if necessary, cleaning dishes used and tidying the space, plus whatever special care your specific pet needs.
