“Valerie was the best dog walker and friend to our sweet boy that we could have ever asked for. she loved him like he was her own, went on adventures around the complex with him, played with him, snuggled him, and even saved his life. he loved her so dearly, and im beyond grateful for the role she played in his life. thank you so very much for loving our boy so genuinely and deeply. we miss him sooo much, but are so blessed by the memories we made together and the time we spent together. ❤🐶”

About: I’ve had pets all my life, from Great Danes and kittens, to ferrets and lizards. I have pet sat for strangers, family and friends and have volunteered at a shelter. I previously worked at a grooming salon. I currently have a French bulldog and a cat. I work from home full time and have my son here at night. I am available whenever needed and can also offer transportation if needed. I have 100% supervision and a not-so-large space with baby gates. I have a 6 year old that is very active so I’m used to being alert/safe all the time.

About: I’ve had a dog in my home ever since I can remember. I currently have 1 standard poodle and her name is Heidi. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I am comfortable with feeding schedules, administering oral medications, daily walks, playtime, and providing lots of love and attention. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and detail-oriented, ensuring every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away! I currently work part time 4 days a week. Im available for pet walking/drop ins on Monday and Thursday before 1:00. Wednesday I’m free after 2:30. And I’m available most of the day Friday and Saturday! You can trust me to safely walk your dog on a leash or to keep them within your fenced backyard, whatever the situation might be. I am comfortable putting them in a crate also. I’m used to having dogs that try to run out the door, so I’m very attentive to keeping doors shut
About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle senior dogs and cats. I focus on patient, consistent care that keeps pets on their normal routines so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’m confident with feeding schedules, administering simple medications, and providing calm guidance for younger pets still learning good habits. My reliability, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals help set me apart as a sitter who treats every pet like family. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I plan my day around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. I make time for regular feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and check-ins, ensuring each pet gets consistent attention and care. Whether it’s morning visits, afternoon walks, or evening routines, I’m flexible and committed to keeping pets on their normal schedule so they feel comfortable and supported every day. I prioritize safety and trust by creating a calm, secure environment for every pet I care for. In a client’s home, I follow your routines closely—keeping doors locked, monitoring food and water, maintaining clean spaces, and making sure pets stay safe and comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I’m attentive to details like leash safety, medication needs, and any special instructions you provide. My goal is to give pets a stress-free experience and give you complete peace of mind while you’re away.
“Emily is amazing with our puppy!! She has walked him multiple times now and is very reliable and spends such quality time with him! It is hard being away at work but I feel so much better knowing he has such a great time walking and playing with her. She sends lots of pictures of him having fun and gives us updates on how the day went :)”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 7 years old. I have three dogs myself and they are truly my best friends. I have a deep love for dogs and I will treat any dog as if they are my own. I work a part-time job, but If I’m noticed in advance, I will certainly make taking great care of the dogs as the first priority. Although, I’m available on most days. I will make sure the dogs go on a walk once a day or (more if requested by owner), follow any dietary restrictions, play with them, and most importantly make sure they feel comfortable and safe. There is an enclosed backyard for your dogs to run around and play in and I will certainly make sure they feel loved.
Applewood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Donne has been super easy to work with. I have to be in the office two days a week, and my only option would be to leave my dog Hazel in her crate for upwards of 8 hours on those days, so having Donne come over and take Hazel for a walk, has taken that stress away. She lets herself in, takes my dog for a walk, give's her some water and a treat, and then puts her back in the crate. She locks the door on the way out. If you have the chance to book with her, I can tell you that you can trust that she'll take good care of your animal, and won't have to stress over it.

Gina has been absolutely wonderful. She is reliable, kind, and truly cares about the dogs she walks. She always sends updates and makes sure the dogs get great, thorough walks. Alaska was always happy and well taken care of, and I felt completely at ease knowing she was in great hands. Highly recommend her.
