About: I have taken care of cats for almost ten years. I also own three of my own! Two black kitties names Bowser and Kitty, and one feisty tuxedo named Frankie! One of my favorite clients was a tabby named Sophie. I was her pet sitter for almost 8 years before she passed away. I grew very close with the family and developed a close bond with Sophie. About: Hi everyone! Quick update: I understand most people travel home on Sundays, however, it is difficult to take late night appointments and feel rested for the work week. So, I will no longer be taking appointments past 6pm on Sundays unless approved. Also, please be courteous to me, our animals and other pet parents. If you are unable to make it within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, please keep me informed and confirm I am in fact still available. Please remember this is our private home and not a facility. That comes with a lot of benefits, but some limitations as well. I’ve had a love for animals all my life and have been taking care of various animals since I was a young child. Growing up we had cats, many different dog breeds and even some goats. I’ve raised puppies with different needs such as English Bulldogs, dogue de bordeaux, Belgian Malinois and mixes just the same. My husband and I have a dog and a cat in the home that are our fur babies. I have a clientele of regulars and would love to make more connections over Rover. While I pride myself on my care for animals, I also work with our boarding dogs on simple training. For example, having my dogs around works well to help them with distractions, recall, simple commands and house manners. I am home all day with my little girl and our animals. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own currently, Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.

I felt at ease from the moment she met us at the door with another dog tucked away so that our dog could get acclimated to her new surroundings first. Kelly was very good about sending us photos and updates throughout Pearl’s stay to keep our minds at ease, and I know she gave Pearl lots of snuggles. When we picked her up, she was her usual happy self. I definitely want to use Kelly again next time we are in the area. I feel confident recommending her to any pet parent!”

“Seriously fantastic. One of our pups was getting over an upset stomach issue when we dropped her off. Which means Sarah had to clean up some messes and we truly felt terrible about that. Sarah kept us up to date on how she was improving, and she took the extra care she needed which we are endlessly grateful for. Hopefully that never happens again, but we genuinely felt like Sarah handled it well.”
