“I couldn’t be happier with Carrie taking care of Meeko and Luna. She was so good with them and really reliable. She took lots of pictures, gave them their medicine, and lots of love! I was able to relax on my trip and knew they were in good hands. I will definitely be booking with her in the future. Thanks Carrie!”

“Annabelle always takes the best care of our sweet special needs puppy! She has been patient and flexible with his walks. Love knowing she will be there to give Lucca attention when I’m at work!”

About: I am a first grade teacher from 7-4, but I am lucky to have some time in my day to be there for your furry friend when you may not be able to! I grew up with two small pups, and I have a 2 year old of my own :) I was able to foster a handful of dogs while I attended Auburn University to help them find their Furever home! Feel free to message me if you’re in need of someone to care for your fur baby :) I currently work as a first grade teacher in the l, so I am not available until 4 p.m. during the school year, but once summers roll around, I will be available all day M-F! I am happy to play with your pup inside, outside, or on a walk. I am comfortable walking dogs on leash, and I will always make sure your pups water bowl is filled before I leave! Message me if your pup has any specific needs :)
About: I have had dogs my whole life! I care for neighbors and friends dogs all the time. I love ALL ages and sizes. I believe dogs need humans and exercise to be happy! I am working part time, so I definitely have plenty of time to fulfill your dogs needs. My schedule varies and my schedule is very flexible. I do have a fenced in yard but I prefer to care for your pet at your home. I feel most pets are most comfortable in their own home.
About: I’ve cared for my family, friends, and neighbors’ pets since I was about 10 years old. I have spent lots of time feeding, grooming, playing, and cleaning up after dogs and cats. I even led a community service project at a local adoption center! I am currently at home for the summer from college, which has freed up much of my schedule. While weekdays are ideal, I am typically available on weekends. I am happy to play with pets in the yard or take them for a walk around the neighborhood! I always make sure to use a leash. I can also crate pets when necessary.
About: Taking care of different animals have been an continuous journey through my lifetime, from myself, family, and friends. Which includes washing, feeding, walking, sitting, and etc. Now I'm wanting to open my assistance to the public and hope of caring for other animals as I have for many years. Looking for a pet sitter? Use code KORRIS99284 to get $20 off your first booking with me on Rover: https://www.rover.com/sit/korris99284 I’m currently open during the weeks and the weekends. My schedule has recently changed temporarily. If needing someone to stay home full time I am the gal 💕. I normally try to partake in outings which includes dog store for treats, and then dog parks. If it happens to be an event for dogs would definitely try to participate which is more weeknd based activities. If it happens to be during the week, a causal walk, indoor playing ( providing a level of attention), watch dog tv, nap time.
“Peyton was a great dog walker! She was very helpful and was even very flexible around my confusing directions for her. She followed all the directions I gave her and I could really trust her in my home. I really felt like she cared about our dog and took some very cute pictures. 10/10 would book again!”

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 12, and neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets. I'm currently working 20 hours per week from home, so I have plenty of time to play with and walk your pets. I am available for boarding and day care on weekends, and anytime during the weekdays. I have a fenced yard and an energetic pup to keep your dog company! They are great with other big or small dogs and puppies, and we have never had any incidents. I'm also happy to take the dogs to a nearby dog park, if that's what you prefer. I will keep in touch with the owner every day to let you know how your dog is doing.

“Jeremy is so great with my Roxy and goes above and beyond! He doesn't just walk her, feed her and leave - he spends time with her and gives her extra attention! In addition to caring for my dog, he brought my trash out to the curb for me and offered to check my mail and bring in packages. I will continue to rebook with Jeremy as I know my dog (and my home) are in good hands and is safe and comfortable!”

Peyton was a great dog walker! She was very helpful and was even very flexible around my confusing directions for her. She followed all the directions I gave her and I could really trust her in my home. I really felt like she cared about our dog and took some very cute pictures. 10/10 would book again!

Jane is wonderful! She went above and beyond with our anxious red heeler and put in some extra effort to clean him up after he got a little muddy on their walk. I’ve never come home to a more calm dog either it’s actually incredible. Would highly recommend Jane for your pet care needs!

I can't Rave about her anymore if you're looking for an actual dog lover she is the one I ran into an issue that no dog parent would like to run into while they're out of town and she went to let the dog out the cage my dog was acting a little aggressive (vicious) because andI'm new to the area and have no friends or family here to assist I really was stressedddd out on how I was going to get him out of the cage with no family or friends there. however instead of leaving the dog there she went above and beyond to find her family members to assist with getting the dog out the cage I was so stressed out thinking that the dog would die in the cage because I was out of town or that I was going to have to return home from the trip early but only a dog lover would have done what she did and I'm truly grateful she got the dog out the cage the next morning and it was smooth and her whole family fell in love with the dog

Absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning, he was kind, reliable, and clearly someone who truly loves animals. Our dog was happy, well cared for, and relaxed after coming back from walks. I’m always updated and my pup is treated like his own. I have such peace of mind knowing our pup was in such great hands. I would absolutely book with Leonardo again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!

I can't recommend Jared highly enough! From the very first meet-and-greet, it was clear he genuinely cares about animals and treats every dog like his own. My pup, Zeus, absolutely lights up whenever Jared comes to the door. He is always punctual, professional, and goes above and beyond — whether it's making sure my dog has fresh water after the walk or sending a photo update that brighten my day. It's such a relief knowing my dog is in safe, loving hands when I'm at work or away. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and amazing with animals, look no further than Jared!

Julia was very responsive was an excellent communicator from beginning to end. We appreciated her scheduling a meet-and-greet before the walk so we all felt comfortable and she could get to know our dog, Emma. She is friendly, responsible, prompt, and was great with Emma. We will definitely be asking her again and we highly recommend her to anyone looking to have a reliable dog walker.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
