Hi! I’m a very hands-on, communicative sitter who adapts to your pet—whether that means high-energy play and long walks, or slow, patient care and extra TLC. I had my rescue dog Zeke for 6 wonderful years, and caring for him through medical needs shaped how I care for all animals—with patience, attention to detail, and genuine empathy. I currently have two cats! I also regularly foster cats and dogs, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities: from energetic and social to shy, anxious, or slow to warm up. Whether your pet needs exercise, medication, or calm companionship, I meet them where they are and make sure they feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. I’m happy to follow your routine exactly and provide thoughtful photo + update check-ins so you always know how your pet is doing !

We love Avery! We have a puppy (and a cat) that requires a lot of patience and hard work. Avery thoroughly does everything that we ask, and more! She also always stops and takes the extra minute to say hello to our cat as well, which makes us happy. Communication is great to top it off!
I have 4 cats with one being diabetic and on medication that needs to be administered at about the same time each day. Avery made sure he got his meds on time and also kept up with all the litter box cleanings and food/water for the other cats as well. I would definitely book her again.
Avery was great. Our cats were comfortable around her, even the shy one who tends to avoid new people. Avery was attentive and responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. I hope that Avery is available the next time we need to be out of town.

Avery was awesome. Took our dogs out when we had to be away from our house for extended hours. Such peace of mind knowing we could enjoy our afternoon and night out and our dogs would be cared for.
Avery is wonderful! We were gone for 16 days and she showed up on time every day to give our senior cat (Squeaks) her medication while also feeding and changing her kitty litter. This is important since she takes her meds once a day and needs to have it on a consistent schedule. She gave thoughtful updates and lots of pictures to show Squeaks was getting plenty of attention and love while we were away.

Schedule
Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I work a very flexible remote job, which allows me to schedule pet care and visits throughout the day rather than squeezing them in before or after work. This means I’m able to give pets consistent attention, timely walks or feedings, and respond quickly to their needs. I plan my day around the pets I’m caring for so they get the time, presence, and care they deserve.

I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs and routine, whether I’m caring for them in my home or in a client’s home. I take time to learn their feeding schedule, walk and play preferences, and any special instructions to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining a calm, familiar environment by following their usual routine, providing companionship, walks or playtime, feeding, litter box or potty care, and administering medications if needed. In my home, pets receive attentive, loving care in a safe and calm environment. I live in a house with a backyard and have access to great walking trails and nearby outdoor spaces. Because the yard is unfenced, all outdoor time is always supervised and leash-only to ensure safety. I provide regular walks, enrichment, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and comfort at all times and am happy to send regular photo updates and communicate frequently so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

A typical day is built around the pets I’m caring for and their individual needs. Thanks to my flexible remote job, I’m home and present throughout the day, so pets get plenty of attention, companionship, and consistency. For dogs, the day usually includes morning walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and relaxed downtime. I live near great walking trails and outdoor areas, so walks are engaging and tailored to your dog’s energy level — whether that’s an adventurous stroll or a calm sniff-filled walk. Outdoor time is always supervised and leash-only for safety. For cats, I focus on creating a calm, comfortable routine. This includes feeding on schedule, interactive play sessions, enrichment, and quiet companionship for cats who enjoy being near someone. I always let cats set the pace and respect their personalities, whether they’re playful, cuddly, or more independent. Throughout the day, I provide lots of positive interaction, monitor behavior and comfort, and make sure pets have time to rest and feel at ease. I also send regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.
