“We are delighted with Connor being available to help take Rudy and Jasmine for walks. Everything from the meet and greet to the walks was a very positive experience for us. Connor is attentive and communicates well, but above all it is clear he loves dogs as well as knows how to handle them. Both of mine are 70lbs big and strong and that has not been a problem. Rudy is very protective of Jasmine and his humans, so it is not straight forward to walk him, but we have seen Connor handle them just fine and trust Connor 100%. We also got pictures and a rover card for every walk without fail.”

About: Hi! My name is Lexi, and I’ve been caring for dogs of all ages and sizes for as long as I can remember! 🐾 When I was 12 years old, I started my own dog-walking business in my neighborhood (safe to say I was a little hustler!). Since then, I’ve had plenty of experience caring for animals, including dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. I’ve also spent years volunteering at various animal shelters, which has given me even more experience caring for animals with different personalities, needs, and backgrounds. I’m also a proud dog mom to my Doberman, who is truly my baby and means the world to me. I know firsthand how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for them. I would love the opportunity to meet your furry family members and give them the same love, attention, and care I give my own! ❤️ I come from a family that has had many pets! I have a 4 year old doberman who is my whole world. I’m no stranger to going above and beyond for my fur baby and will do the same for yours! I make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and exercise, while following their regular feeding, walking, and medication schedules exactly as requested. My goal is to get to know your pets and make them as happy as can be!
About: I specialize in small breed dogs, with over 15 years of hands-on experience. This is a peaceful, clean, and loving environment and supervision they deserve. Since retiring, I've created a calm, home based routine where your small dog gets consistent attention, companionship and a peaceful environment each and every day. My home is set up with safety in mind. Secure spaces, no access to hazards, and a peaceful atmosphere that helps small dogs feel safe.
About: I've taken care of dogs most of my life, growing up with the family beagle, Stanley who lived until 15! I've been helping friends and neighbors house/dog sit, have playtime and go for walks for the past four years on a consistent basis and am looking to do this on a more professional level. I am very protective of my goldendoodle, Mazi and understand the trust it takes to let someone care for your dog. I will treat your pups with the utmost care and love. I'm happy to send text and photo updates if you'd like. I work from home 3 days a week and have a lot of flexibility. I spend my days loving on my goldendoodle, Mazi and have a lot of time throughout the week and weekends to take care of your pups too! For overnight stays, I've done this a variety of times at my client's homes. I will bring Mazi to stay as well and we have the pups meet beforehand to make sure they get along. Mazi is the sweetest soul that will make friends with anyone. All the dogs have a great time playing - I supervise play in the yard if the client is comfortable with that, or we take walks through the neighborhood.
About: Hi! I’m Grace, and I live with my parents and my sweet 9-year-old daughter, Hannah. We don’t currently have any pets and we stay at home full time, so your dog will get our full attention and love! I’ve previously cared for a wonderful Maltipoo, and I truly understand how important it is to provide a safe, loving, and calm environment for pets. Hannah and I adore animals and would be thrilled to welcome your furry family member into our home. We’ll treat your dog like one of our own—with plenty of cuddles, playtime, and peaceful walks. Feel free to reach out—we can’t wait to meet your pup! I and my parents fully stay at home, so we have plenty of time to give your pet lots of love and attention throughout the day. My schedule is very flexible, which means I can easily fit in regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles. My family love being around dogs, and since we don’t currently have a pet of our own, your pup will be the center of our world while they’re with us. Pet care blends naturally into our daily routine—it’s something we truly enjoy! When pets stay in my home, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable—just like part of the family. I keep a calm and cozy environment with plenty of attention, affection, and a consistent routine. I follow their usual schedule as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, play, and rest. I stay at home, so your dog will never be left alone for long periods. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages, so you always know how your pup is doing. If I’m caring for a pet in the client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and follow all instructions carefully—from routines to any special needs. Whether in my home or yours, I give each pet the same level of love and care I would want for my own.
“I have to say Stacy has surpassed all other dog boarders that I’ve used. She is so accommodating and so nice. She loves my pup probably as much as I do. I highly recommend her to everyone. I had surgery on my leg and she came and walked my dog twice a day so I can heal. Call on her to take care of your beloved dog, you won’t be disappointed!”

“Irene was great. She arrived promptly on time, very warm and friendly and my dog took to her right away. She shared pics of Bently and shared their walk itinerary with me as well which was nice. I will use Irene again in the future and recommend her for walking your dog! Thanks Irene, Bentley gives you two paws up!”

About: I am responsible and very patient and caring. I work especially well with smaller easily frightened dogs as I have a chihuahua myself. I love meeting new dogs and caring for them. I work for myself and split my time between caring for seniors and pet sitting. Sometimes I care for both the client and their pets, and I enjoy helping people by providing dependable care they can count on. I enjoy spending time with pets through walks, playtime, feeding, and giving them plenty of attention. I always follow their routine and make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I will go in to the client house and play with the dog and care for the dogs by walking them around the neighborhood and back
About: Welcome! I’m a dedicated dog sitter who truly understands pet needs. Last fall, I rescued a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees, so I’m very familiar with big dogs, rescue backgrounds, and building a strong bond through gentle guidance. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your dog with someone else. I’m happy to follow your pet’s exact routine, send regular photo updates, and give them all the care and attention they deserve. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekdays after 1 PM, and sometimes as early as 9 AM. I ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and happy by following instructions, maintaining cleanliness, providing playtime, feeding, and giving attention as if they were my own.

About: I have been around dogs most of my life, and have always been available to family and friends for pet-sitting. I have experience both with puppies and handling training as well as caring for animals with health concerns and high medication or dietary needs. I am currently completing classes online so I can complete my work from any location making it easy for me to be available for your pet as much as they need! I always am thinking about safety, especially with leash use and making sure your pet can’t make an escape. Happy to crate or accommodate any environmental needs!

About: I have been trusted by friends and acquaintances on many occasions with their fur babies. I have walked, fed, and played with their pups while also keeping an eye on their behaviors. The dogs I cared for were seniors, so I’m experienced with giving medication when needed, and paying attention to any out of place behaviors. Although I don’t have many years of experience, I have been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with 5 family dogs, all with different personalities and priorities! I am currently attending GSU full-time, but I have a very open schedule. I can work any day of the week from 10am-8pm, but if you need different times I’m very flexible with my availability! I am not offering services in my home, but I am available to do drop byes to check on your babies! I will be keen on following any rules you give me whether that be keeping them in a certain area of your home, or being cautious of outside interference.
“All I can say is thank you Nikki. My pups were snug as bugs in rugs when I got home from my day trip. Nikki was a breeze to work with and very responsive. I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve had dogs of all kinds my whole life. I’ve taken care of small, large, elderly, and puppies! I love dogs of all kinds and would be more than happy to give yours some love too! I currently have a foster dog (who’s dog friendly and sweet as pie!) who is going through training now, so i’d be more than capable of carrying out your dog trainings. I love spending time outdoors, so taking your dogs on long walks would be a treat. I’m also a huge cuddler, so couch time is just as fun! I have a part time job, so I am available most early mornings, nights, and weekends! My schedule sometimes looks different depending on the week, but I can be flexible depending on need. I live in an apartment with one fur baby who is very dog friendly. I live in an area with lots of walking paths and parks, so going on some fun adventures is easy! I am also well versed in crate training and have a crate available!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Alpharetta
I can't Rave about her anymore if you're looking for an actual dog lover she is the one I ran into an issue that no dog parent would like to run into while they're out of town and she went to let the dog out the cage my dog was acting a little aggressive (vicious) because andI'm new to the area and have no friends or family here to assist I really was stressedddd out on how I was going to get him out of the cage with no family or friends there. however instead of leaving the dog there she went above and beyond to find her family members to assist with getting the dog out the cage I was so stressed out thinking that the dog would die in the cage because I was out of town or that I was going to have to return home from the trip early but only a dog lover would have done what she did and I'm truly grateful she got the dog out the cage the next morning and it was smooth and her whole family fell in love with the dog

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
