“Alex is amazing and takes very good care of Bella. She is very attentive and accommodating with Bella's corky temperament. She goes out of her way to provide services when needed and gives timely updates with the best pictures. My dog is always happy to see Alex!”

“Haylee did a great job with our newly adopted pupper. She even managed to gently return him to his crate (something we're still training on). Prompt responses, good communication, excellent walking. We look forward to working with her again!”

“Felicia was reliable, caring, and communicative during the whole process. Her Rover cards made it abundantly clear that she is knowledgable about training and loves all animals. We look forward to using her services again in the future!”

About: I absolutely love animals and have pets in my home for all my life! I have been dog sitting and pet sitting since I was 13. Big, small, in between I love them all! I currently work doing swim lessons, however, I am able to let your friends out between, before, and after! I typically do not work longer than a 4 hour shift. After taking care of pets, I usually like to sit and love on them for a bit. Especially if they’re crated! That being said, I can easily crate your pet if needed!
About: Hi! I have had doggy family members all my life and love being around them. I worked in pet care for 2 1/2 years at Pet Suites and have fostered puppies for years! I am always available to care for dogs/cats of all ages. For walks- I am also available to take dogs on what I like to call "Dog Jogs"! If you have a high-energy dog, this is a great way to run that energy out and let them have a fun time! Fearful dogs- I have had lots of experience with protective/nervous dogs through working at the daycare/boarding facility and am confident I can care for your dog if that is a worry <3 During Winter and Summer, I can take care of pets full-time! My schedule is completely open during these seasons. During the Fall and Spring semesters of college, I study full-time as a college student (: My dogs have a giant fenced in backyard that they adore running around! They roam free during the days since they are potty trained and have outgrown their chewing/destroying days.

About: Hey there! I'm a fourth-year college student home for the summer who adores all kinds of animals. I've owned dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting dogs and cats in the neighborhood from a young age. Pet sitting has always felt more like a passion to me than a job, and whether your pets need exercise, extra attention, or simply someone to play with, I would love to care for them with the same dedication I show my own! I am working part-time in the evenings, but my mornings are open for pet care and very flexible. I’d love to help out whenever needed and even with short notice! I think punctuality is very important and safety is my highest priority. I want to make sure that your fur baby’s care is attended to on time and exactly as asked.
“Matthew was wonderful and took great care of my pets. He communicated with me all through the process. Matthew even walked my cat which was a first for him. Shout out to Matthew!”

About: Hi! I’m Jenna—a lifelong dog lover and proud owner of a sweet 16-year-old dachshund. I’ve cared for many neighborhood pups with love, patience, and reliability. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, or just some comforting company, I treat every pet like family. You can count on me to keep your furry friend safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I recently graduated from Lambert High School and have plenty of free time during the week this summer. Pet care fits perfectly into my weekday routine! I love spending time with animals and can provide attentive, loving care while you’re away. I’m usually unavailable on weekends due to my travel softball team. Your dog will feel right at home with me! I have a spacious, fenced-in yard with plenty of room to run, play, and explore safely. My home is calm, clean, and dog-friendly—perfect for pups of all ages. I treat every dog like family and always make their comfort, safety, and happiness my top priority. You can trust they’ll be well cared for here.
About: I’ve always been extremely passionate about animals! I’ve had some different pets in the past, but i’ve always had a dog around and now have a cat as well. I treat every animal as my own and take pride in my ability to take care of them. I love being outdoors and active, so walking a dog is always a pleasure. Also, since I have a cat I’m pretty comfortable around some aggressive behavior and know how to handle it. I am currently attending KSU and have a lot of flexibility in between classes, I would love to help out with your pets as I have lots of free time and am able to study at home or wherever your home is located! I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with both your pets and your home. I am a responsible, reliable, and attentive pet sitter who genuinely loves animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they receive plenty of care, attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. I also respect and care for clients’ homes, keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. My goal is to give you peace of mind so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: Hi! I’m Emma, an experienced animal lover with 5+ years of trusted pet sitting experience and a background in veterinary medicine and pet care. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and other pets for neighbors and families for years, handling everything from daily walks and feeding to medications and personalized care. I also have experience working with puppies and senior dogs, so I understand the extra patience, attention, and care they may need. Along with pet sitting, I have over a year of veterinary experience, which means I’m comfortable recognizing signs of illness, administering basic care, and making sure your pet stays happy and healthy. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I treat every animal like they’re my own! I’m able to plan my days around visits, walks, feeding schedules, and spending quality time with pets to make sure they get the attention and care they need. I always prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine while you’re away. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions for feeding schedules, walks, medications, crating, and any other specific care needs.
“I have to say Stacy has surpassed all other dog boarders that I’ve used. She is so accommodating and so nice. She loves my pup probably as much as I do. I highly recommend her to everyone. I had surgery on my leg and she came and walked my dog twice a day so I can heal. Call on her to take care of your beloved dog, you won’t be disappointed!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. Currently, I don’t have any pets, but I’m still taking care of a few dogs in my neighborhood. I love spending time with animals, and I make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. Your pet’s safety is my priority. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Big Creek
Matthew had no problems with learning how to walk a cat and a dog together on a public trail near my home. I booked him to come with us on one of our walks before we left town-so he could see if this was something he felt comfortable with doing as it’s quite a unique request for any pet sitter; there are more things that you need to look out for in regards to safety and a pleasurable experience. After our walk, I was extremely comfortable leaving them in his hands. Matt has game so if you need the unusual and are willing to go the extra mile yourself; you can be sure that Matt will as well.

Chan was amazing he came earlier in the day to get familiar with our Houston and took him for a nice long walk in the evening and even sent us a ton of videos. Thorough professional and I would recommend him in a heartbeat again . Thanks Chan continue your awesome work

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
