“Christina was amazing! She and her husband came for a meet and greet prior to beginning walks. She asked so many questions and learned all about my pups. Will definitely reach out to her again!”

“Kristin was fantastic! I needed her help on a short notice and she was there for our pup no problem! She was thorough, flexible and took the sweetest photos. I felt as though my new puppy was in the best care while I was gone. We will continue to book regularly with Kristin!”

About: I’m a lifelong schnauzer lover, and after losing both of my beloved furbabies within the last three years, my home just hasn’t felt the same. I miss the snuggles, the walks, and that joyful energy they brought to every day. Caring for other pets allows me to share that love again and give your pup the same warmth, patience, and attention I once gave my own. I truly understand the comfort and companionship pets bring, and I take pride in creating a safe, affectionate environment where every furry friend feels at home. Lots of love, gentle care, and happy hearts guaranteed. 💕🐾 I run a small design agency part-time and work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. My schedule naturally revolves around school pickup, homework time, and my kids’ soccer practices— at a dog-friendly park! That means there’s plenty of room in our routine for walks, playtime, and snuggles. Your pet will get consistent attention and care woven right into our daily rhythm, not just “checked in on.” Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. Whether they’re with us or I’m visiting your home, I make sure they feel loved, secure, and part of the family. Walks are always on-leash, routines are followed closely, and I’m big on cuddles and communication. You’ll get regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands. 🐾

About: Have always owned at least 2 dogs, with the current brood a 200lb mastiff and a frenchie. We have run the sprectrum of temperament, with these 2. They are also treated like royalty, having their own “babysitters”, so I figured since I’m home more… I’d help take care of yours! Currently work remote, with plenty of schedule flexibility to drop in. Plus, we’d love to host your pooch, as in our whirl- the more the merrier. Our guys love a good play date. I have a fenced in yard, scoop service, and two of my own doggos who will help keep each other entertained. My house is the “dog’s house”. And, always happy to walk or drop in as needed!

About: I have taken care of most breeds from Great Danes to chihuahuas over the years! I’ve had to give meds, take to the emergency vet, and have them over at my house for days in emergency situations and it’s been fine, although I prefer normal situations like walks lol! I currently work part time from home in Buford and have decided to allow myself more time to do dog walks and pet sitting, as that’s my joy!!! Our backyard is fenced in at my house, and if your yard isn’t I will be sure to use extra precautions if you have a runner! I can crate dogs and come by enough to let them out or just stay over for a few hours if needed!
About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 20 years and truly believe our pets deserve the same love and attention they’d get from us—even when life pulls us away. I am here to respect you and your pet! Your pet’s safety comes first. I will ensure your pet is loved and played with/walked, your home is left clean, and you have complete peace of mind while at-work/away.

About: I’ve had dogs in my home for as long as I can remember! I love taking care of my pets and enjoy teaching them new tricks and giving them plenty of mental and physical activity. The only time I’ll be away is for no more than 4 hours at a time. I have a fenced backyard with plenty of room for your pup to run around in. As for bedtime, your fur baby can either stay with my two dogs (who are as sweet as can be) or stay in our basement with me! I can also crate a dog up to around 80 pounds, if larger you’ll need to provide a crate. As for caring for a dog in your home, I’ll follow your instructions to the letter to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
