“I cannot say enough about Nancy and Greg! I booked them for the first time today. They came over for a meet and greet yesterday and Cammie fell in love with them. I could instantly tell they both have a love for dogs. I was very impressed with their professionalism as well. They had a sheet for Cammie with all of her likes and dislikes. Cammie is my baby and it means so much to me to know she’s in great hands. Thank you again! I will be rebooking soon!”

“Lindy was amazing with our dog, Max! She came over and took him for walks daily! She sent pictures and daily walking routes. I highly recommend Lindy and we will use her again!”

About: I’ve been caring for my dog and neighbors’ pets since I was 14, teaching my dog commands and loving every walk we take together. I also have a turtle, and with four siblings, I help look after their pets too. Animals mean a lot to me, and I have a big heart for them. Alongside all this, I’m a college student who plays basketball and attends a Christian college. I’m responsible, reliable, and ready to turn my passion for animals into a job hustle. My schedule’s pretty flexible this summer, and I’m happy to work around whatever times and dates work best for you. I’ll be most available on weekdays because of my workouts, but I can still make sure pet care fits in without any problems. I make it a priority to create a safe, trustworthy, and caring space where your pets feel secure and well looked after. With my experience and love for pet sitting, I’m committed to giving the best care possible. Your pets’ well-being means a lot to me, and I work hard to build trust with both you and your pets so they always feel comfortable and loved.
“Matthew was wonderful and took great care of my pets. He communicated with me all through the process. Matthew even walked my cat which was a first for him. Shout out to Matthew!”

“Arya always does a great job taking care of my babies. I was very nervous about allowing someone else into my home and trusting them to take care of my dogs but Arya’s great care has completely put me at ease. I have worked with her several times now and each time is a great experience. I am very appreciative of her care.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid. I lost my fur baby Oakley(in my pic) to cancer in 2023. Whether it’s throwing a ball, going for a nice walk or lounging on the couch and cuddling I’ll give your fur baby all the attention they want! I have experience giving oral medication and insulin injections to dogs as well as cats. Picking up and discarding poop doesn’t bother me! I’m a stay at home wife and mama to a six year old son who is now in elementary school so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies! I worked as a pet sitter/dog walker for a company in 2018-2019. My schedule is very flexible! Your babies can stay in their own home where they’re most comfortable! I’ll come to them to keep their routine as normal as possible! I do have experience giving insulin shots to both dogs and cats.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog parent. I have hands-on experience caring for a reactive dog, which has taught me patience, awareness, and how to read canine body language. I understand that every dog has unique needs and comfort levels, and I strive to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for each pet in my care. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve while you’re away. Pet care is a part of my daily routine as I care for my own dog every day. I prioritize walks, feeding, playtime, enrichment activities, and monitoring behavior and well-being. Having a reactive dog has taught me patience, consistency, and the importance of providing a safe and structured environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs to help them feel comfortable and secure. In my home or a client’s home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment, closely supervise pets, follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, and provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. As the owner of a reactive dog, I understand the importance of reading body language, respecting boundaries, and creating a calm, low-stress environment tailored to each pet’s needs.
About: I have had a profound love for animals my entire life and have grown up caring for pets of all sizes. I am experienced with dogs, cats, reptiles, and small animals, giving me a well-rounded understanding of different pet needs and behaviors. I have been dog sitting for over 6 years and have built lasting relationships with trusted clients through dependable, compassionate care. Whether it’s playtime, exercise, medication administration, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I am currently in the beginning stages of starting my own business, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet sitting. This allows me to dedicate quality time and attention to the pets in my care, whether they need frequent visits, extended stays, or last-minute accommodations. I take pride in being reliable, responsive, and available when pet owners need someone they can trust. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of finding someone you can trust with your animals. I currently care for three dogs and a gecko of my own, giving me daily hands-on experience with pets and their unique needs. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, affection, and supervision while maintaining their regular routines. I carefully follow feeding schedules, administer medications if needed, and make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is to provide the same level of care and attention that I would want for my own pets.

Whether you’re out of town all week or on the clock all day, I’m happy to come to you so your pet can be cared for in the comfort and familiarity of their home. I'm a UGA graduate in Cumming, GA, working in marketing for an education company. Growing up, my animal-loving fam always had at least one pet around, and I'd spend school holidays pet-sitting for neighbors, friends, and family. If you need someone to pop in and hang with your dog or cat, I’m happy to provide some play time, make sure they’ve gone to the bathroom, and ensure they are watered, fed and pet sufficiently!🤗 I am currently in the market for my next role and doing freelance work. So I have lots of availability and flexibility during the work day to visit with or walk your pup. Unfortunately, I am not currently boarding pets at my home, but I am happy to come visit your dog at your residence and ensure they’re well cared for.

About: I enjoy the company of animals and would love to get to know yours! I understand you want to find a reliable person to watch over your precious animals and home. All I can do is say I will treat them like my own fur-baby. I have more than 3 years' experience volunteering for the Humane Society of Forsyth County, having fostered more dogs than I can remember. I loved the experience of helping them learn how to behave properly in a home, and then watching their joy when they found their fur-ever homes! I have also participated in numerous dog behavior tests to see how they interact with other dogs, cats, and humans. Services I provide: dog walking, administering oral medications, transportation to the vet or groomer, playtime, overnight stays, and pet companionship. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
