About: With 6 years of pet care experience, I provide patient, reliable, and loving care for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have experience with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic training support, crate routines, cleaning, and giving extra attention to pets who may be shy, anxious, energetic, or need a little more patience. I’ve worked hands-on with dogs in professional pet care settings, so I understand how important safety, structure, and communication are. I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I’m home most of the time, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I have plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and giving your pet attention throughout the day. I’m flexible and do my best to keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible so they feel comfortable while they’re with me. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I’ll treat your baby with the same love and patience I’d want someone to give mine. I have a large yard for safe play and potty breaks, and I’ll always keep a close eye on them. I’m big on communication, so I’ll keep you updated and make sure you feel comfortable while your pet is with me.
“Shital and Ketan are very kind. They cared for Bentley for two days, and he loved seeing them. He was so excited to go to their place. They sent photos and videos every few hours. We are thankful for the wonderful care they provided. We had to stay late at an event, and they patiently kept Bentley the whole time. Because of them, we enjoyed the event peacefully. Thank you for the help. I highly recommend them.”

“We just moved in the area and I was super nervous about leaving my fur babies in a new place with a new sitter but right off the bat when we first met Shraddha we had a great first impression. She was very prompt in her response and I appreciated that she accepted my request at even a short notice. She was very thorough and loving with my dogs and even posted pictures of them throughout the day. I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs in her care and will certainly use her services in the future. Highly recommend 👍🏻!”

“Arya was fantastic with Mochi. Very glad I selected her instead of a larger doggy daycare. Mochi got lots of cuddles and individual attention. Arya was very flexible and sent lots of cute pictures”

About: Hi! My name is Olivia and I am a recent UGA graduate! I volunteered at the Athens Humane Society for 3 years while in school and I also have a lot of experience with dog sitting, as well as having a Golden Doodle myself! I have all the time to take care of your sweet pets! I start my next step in of education in August so throughout the summer I am very free. My home has a fenced yard and plenty of room to play! I also have a 1 year old Golden Doodle named Cherry who gets along super well with other dogs! I am home throughout the day so time to play and go outside is very convenient!
About: I'm a dog behavior specialist, not just a sitter. I understand canine psychology and body language, helping dogs feel calm, safe, and understood. I have years of experience with anxious, fearful, reactive, and large-breed dogs. Every dog receives patient, individualized care. Working with dogs is my full-time profession, so pet care is part of my daily life—not just a side job. Because I work from home, your dog will receive plenty of attention, exercise, mental enrichment, and personalized care throughout the day. My home is a calm and structured environment where dogs feel safe and understood. As a dog behavior specialist, I don't just provide boarding—I help dogs build confidence, reduce stress, and practice good habits. Every dog receives individual attention based on their personality, needs, and comfort level.
“Erica took our dog even though I reached out just a day before - she truly saved us and was very gentle and caring with our dog. My dog is traumatized after her first owners and her experience in the shelter, so she needs very delicate handling. Erica surrounded her with care and attention and sent me photos throughout the time our dog was with her. I highly recommend Erica as a dog sitter without any hesitation. I’m very grateful and will definitely reach out again 🤎”

About: What makes me a great friend to your little one is that I am not restricted by a work schedule, so I have a TON of flexibility! I also live alone, no roommates, no kids, no other pets, so my attention can be completely focused on your pet! I have been caring for dogs since I was 5 years old when I got my first - a dachshund named Molly. I’ve cared for over a dozen dogs since. My Dad and Grandpa trained police dogs on K-9 units so it must be in my blood! I am also a HUGE walker and hiker already, so, if your dog loves to explore and needs to get some energy out - I’m your girl! Because I am home a lot of the day, senior dogs work well for me too! There is truly a dog breed I don’t absolutely love. Fun fact #1 - At 13 years old, I started a dog walking and boarding business in my neighborhood with my best friend - “Woof Walkers” - t-shirts and all! My love and care for animals has only grown since. Fun fact #2 - I once got a $200 tip for dog sitting because the owners felt so confident their little loved one was cared for so well - he didn’t want to leave me! :) I can be 100% committed to being with your furry friend all day and night long! I have all the time in the world and love nothing more than lounging, going on walks (or hikes!) with the worlds greatest gift to humans - dogs :) My apartment complex has a great a dog park with lots of other furry friends along with a huge open field to get all the zoomies out! My surrounding area (0.6 miles away) has GREAT walking trails on Lake Lanier, several dog parks, and vet care 0.5 miles away should any emergencies come up. I keep my apartment very tidy with several cozy couches and chairs (and bed) to lounge on but have no problems with the little bit of a mess a furry friend can bring. I also have a balcony to let them get some sun. I drive a Jeep with plenty of space for toting if needed. I like to text the dog owners as many photos as they would like just to touch base and know that their friend is safe, loved, comfortable and having FUN! I would love the opportunity to become a friend to the family.

“Boone has been going to doggy daycare for the past two weeks and is loving it! He is a very shy pup but quickly began to love and trust Michele. Her photo updates throughout the day are great and always bring a smile to my face! We, especially Boone, are so thankful for her.”

About: I am a retired attorney with two mini dachshunds of my own. I am home all day and able to provide around the clock attention. Very active and willing to provide daily walks or allow pets to play in the fenced in back yard. For those social pets who enjoy playing with other animals, my two mini dachshunds will enjoy new friends or the pets can be superstars within the home. I generally only accept two pets at a time to ensure each one gets all the love and attention they need. Can provide crate service if preferred for sleeping and when I step out. Plenty of outdoor play time. Your pets will have someone with them throughout the day and night with the exception of errands or short periods away during the day. Dogs will feel at home and get the attention and care as if you were with them.

About: I grew up with a poodle and later was closely involved in a household that cared for a large number of show dogs in a structured, organized setting. This gave me strong experience with daily routines, behavior, and maintaining a calm, well-managed environment. Now I have a retired Shiba Inu — the friendliest you’ll meet. I work from home, so I’m able to provide consistent supervision and regular care throughout the day. Dogs follow a predictable routine with potty breaks every 2–4 hours, quiet indoor time, and outdoor time in a secure fenced yard. Your dog will stay in a clean, calm home with a fenced yard and a safe, structured environment. I keep the number of dogs limited to maintain a low-stress atmosphere and avoid overcrowding. Dogs are supervised, and I follow consistent routines to help them feel secure. For everyone’s safety, I accept calm, well-mannered dogs and recommend a meet & greet before first bookings. Crating can be used if needed, depending on the dog’s habits and comfort.
About: I’ve had multiple dogs almost my whole life and 3 years ago got my own dog,Nash, who is my whole world. With him, we have done 4 different personal trainers so I know all the training commands. I will treat any dogs with the love I have for mine as I would want someone to do the same for me!! I work from home so I can easily help out any day Monday to Friday during the day or afternoon. My schedule is always flexible! I will do whatever the owner requires as I would want someone to do the same for me. I am used to going on mile walks with dogs and since mine is 70 pounds I’m used to walking heavier dogs as well. I do recommend a harness for walking the stronger dogs!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cumming
Our dog had a great time with Ashley. Ashley was very accomodating, ang has a wonderful home with a fenced in yard. Ashley took our dog for long walks and kept us informed by sending pics and updates. Aout dog has stayed with Ashley 4 separate days, including an overnight. We couldn't have been more pleased!
Tetiana is incredibly responsible and attentive. She followed all of my instructions to the letter and even went above and beyond by sending me regular updates and photos of my furry friend. It was such a relief to know that my dog was in such capable and caring hands. What truly sets Tetiana apart is her dedication and enthusiasm. She played with him and made sure he was happy and comfortable at all times. When I returned home, my dog was relaxed and content, which is a testament to the excellent care they received. I highly recommend Tetiana to anyone in need of a reliable and loving dog sitter. She is a true gem, and I will be reaching out to her again in the future. She was wonderful. ________________________________________ Maureen

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
