About: While I’ve never had a dog of my own I have always loved walking and caring for my friends and neighbors dogs! I love dogs of all ages and size. I am a college student home for the summer so I have very open availability and am very flexible with scheduling. I am very open and am available to walk your pets any day of the week within daylight hours. I am also flexible with last minute scheduling. I have always loved animals and have just taken in two adorable kittens and I also have a mature Maine coon cat. My friends and neighbors have dogs that I just love looking after and taking for walks!
“What an absolute star! On relatively short notice, MyQueisha saved the day for my very needy but loving fur babies. She dropped in twice a day for three days this week, and when I returned home from my long shifts my dogs seemed so happy and not at all antsy from me being gone. They received excellent care from a truly lovely person, and I will book her again in the future no question.”

“My fuzzies love Chloe! My overly-cautious-with-new-humans animals simply adore her. She broke through the stand-offish-ness and was able to administer luvs to both animals. I highly recommend Chloe for drop-in visits and we will be using her as my travel picks up again.”

“Lindy was amazing! She was always punctual and great at communicating. You could really tell she cared about our dogs while we were gone. We will definitely rebook with her in the future!”

“Ricky took great care of my two kitties and he remembered everything from the last time. Very reliable and always letting me know how they are doing. Definitely recommending their service!”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about our Sharon! From the very first visit, it was clear that our pet was n the absolute best hands. She is warm, professional, incredibly reliable, and went above and beyond to ensure our pets felt safe, loved, and cared for while we were away. She provides daily updates (with the cutest photos!) and it gives us such peace of mind knowing our pup is happy and comfortable.”

“Stephanie has excellent communication and always arrived on time. She gave our pets lots of love and pets when visiting. Definitely recommend and we will use her again when needed.”

“Lizette did a great job doing drop in care for my cat. She gave me lots of updates and pictures of him. I could tell he was having fun with her!! I will definitely use her again and recommend her :)”

“Rena is wonderful as always! She gave us detailed updates, lots of pictures, and took great care of our pets. A+++ sitter! We have used her twice and will always try to in the future!”

“Felicia has been awesome! She’s taken great care of our two cats while we’ve been out of town and sent us photos, too. Super easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have over 5 years of hands-on pet care experience, including dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight stays, feeding, playtime, and general care for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Friends, neighbors, and families have trusted me to care for their pets while they’re away because I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely love animals. I also currently have a golden retriever of my own, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, and making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am currently a a graduate student in a nurse anesthesia program and have a very flexible schedule because most of my learning is online for the time being. I am open to weekends also and mainly have classes earlier in the day but can work around my schedule. I always try to keep pets comfortable by sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and attention, and feel safe while their owners are away. I’m very attentive to behavior changes, cleanliness, and making sure pets get lots of playtime, walks, and affection.

I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have had 2 cats. I have dog sat and walked many dogs, and I’ve also cat sat. I have a pretty flexible schedule currently and can hep though out the week when needed. I currently live in an apartment and could take in small dogs and cats if needed. I can definitely come to your location and walk and pet sit anytime.
About: I’ve been caring for my dog and neighbors’ pets since I was 14, teaching my dog commands and loving every walk we take together. I also have a turtle, and with four siblings, I help look after their pets too. Animals mean a lot to me, and I have a big heart for them. Alongside all this, I’m a college student who plays basketball and attends a Christian college. I’m responsible, reliable, and ready to turn my passion for animals into a job hustle. My schedule’s pretty flexible this summer, and I’m happy to work around whatever times and dates work best for you. I’ll be most available on weekdays because of my workouts, but I can still make sure pet care fits in without any problems. I make it a priority to create a safe, trustworthy, and caring space where your pets feel secure and well looked after. With my experience and love for pet sitting, I’m committed to giving the best care possible. Your pets’ well-being means a lot to me, and I work hard to build trust with both you and your pets so they always feel comfortable and loved.
“Nancy was perfect with my cats, no complaints! I appreciate her checking up with them and always giving me a run-down of how it went. I would definitely book again!”

“Yamileth did a wonderful job. Did everything just as we asked. Kept us updated on the pups! Lots of pictures of them enjoying their walk with her. We will keep her on speed dial to use her again.”
About: I have had at least one dog for my whole life and have been sitting for approximately ten years. I have a true love for dogs/pets no matter the size or breed. I'm currently waiting to go to graduate school in September, so I will have plenty of time to watch your pets! I am pretty much available at any time during the week. I can assure you that I can take care of your pet safely and follow any specific instructions given. I will unfortunately not be able to keep any pets at my house as I have two dogs.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog parent. I have hands-on experience caring for a reactive dog, which has taught me patience, awareness, and how to read canine body language. I understand that every dog has unique needs and comfort levels, and I strive to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for each pet in my care. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve while you’re away. Pet care is a part of my daily routine as I care for my own dog every day. I prioritize walks, feeding, playtime, enrichment activities, and monitoring behavior and well-being. Having a reactive dog has taught me patience, consistency, and the importance of providing a safe and structured environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs to help them feel comfortable and secure. In my home or a client’s home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment, closely supervise pets, follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, and provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. As the owner of a reactive dog, I understand the importance of reading body language, respecting boundaries, and creating a calm, low-stress environment tailored to each pet’s needs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
