She has excellent communication skills and will always give you updates about your pup to let you know that they are being taken care of. Mihye is our go to sitter if we ever need her. “We are so grateful to have found Nancy for our shy pup! She is amazing! Our dog is very reserved and I had to be careful to find someone who could make him feel comfortable, but from the moment I met Nancy, I knew she was the right fit. She took the time to get to know Koba’s specific needs (which is not much) and went at her pace, giving him space while still providing plenty of attention and care. Throughout the time she sat for us, Nancy was professional, kind, and kept us updated with sweet photos and messages. Our dog warmed up to her quickly, and I could tell he was in a safe and loving environment. We’ll definitely be using her services again and highly recommend her to anyone with a shy or anxious dog!””

“I can't thank Allison enough! She was incredibly reliable and provided exceptional care for my puppy, Cheeni. I always felt at ease knowing Cheeni was in her capable hands, and the frequent updates were so appreciated. highly recommend Allison to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter.”

About: I’ve been raising dogs since I was kid with a golden retriever, beagle, poodle, and now my lovely Alaskan Malamute princess. Me and Bella (my dog) love having friendly and happy dogs to play with and making new friends. The backyard is huge and full of toys and I have a lot of treats. Really, I just want to provide and safe and healthy environment for dogs to play and make friends with my dog as well. I have a full time job but work mostly from home. At times I have to run errands but am typically not gone for more than 2-4 hours tops. I do have lots of experience housing other dogs as I’ve done for friends and know how to make adjustments when feeding or regarding potty break schedules. I have a huge yard for dogs to play in and my dog loves running circles around it like a track. She also loves company and the dogs all play tag quite often. Other than that there’s plenty of space around the house for the dogs to just chill and relax. I do crate my dog when I leave the house because she is a working dog and wants to work on a “project” when she’s left alone for too long, but I am happy to accommodate your dogs needs. I will ask that you bring a crate just in case but we don’t have to use it.

About: I've been around animals my entire life and have always had both dogs and cats as part of my family. Caring for pets comes naturally to me, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. In addition to caring for my own pets, I've pet sat for friends and family for years. I also frequently watch my brother's cats, so I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities and needs. Whether your pet loves to play, go for walks, or simply relax with someone nearby, I'm happy to provide the attention and care they deserve. I'm a calm, patient, and dependable person who understands that every pet is unique. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. I work remotely full-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide attentive care throughout the day. I'm available for doggy daycare during the workweek and can provide check-ins before 9:00 AM, around noon, and after 5:00 PM. On weekends, I have open availability for daycare, drop-in visits, and walks. Because I work from home, I'm able to give pets plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and companionship, ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and welcoming environment where pets can feel at home. I have a securely fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and get plenty of exercise under my supervision. If your dog is crate-trained, I'm happy to follow their normal routine and crate them when requested. I believe consistency helps pets feel comfortable, so I'll always follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special care they need. When caring for pets in your home, I'll treat your home with the same respect I would my own while making sure your pet receives plenty of attention, affection, and reliable care. I'll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Alpharetta commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
