About: I have owned and taken care of cats and dogs as long as I can remember. Somehow, I became my family and friends' friendly go-to dog and cat sitter. I've taken care of labs, German shepherds, collie's, golden retrievers and more along with cats. When I had a German shepherd, I learned how to train informally through practice with my trainer and reading articles. I would love to be your reliable go-to sitter and care for your sweet family pets. I am currently full time at home with my child looking to make extra income, show her my love for taking care of animals and teach her some responsibility as well. I am available every day except for Sunday. I have a fenced in backyard and a safe neighborhood to walk around. I have a crate to transport a cat if needed but not a dog. Or I can come to your home too.

It is a major part of my daily life, and I make sure every pet receives the time, patience, and attention they deserve. I share my home with two sweet and playful dogs, Luna and Shawdo. They are well-trained, gentle, and friendly with other pets. If your pet enjoys having doggy friends, they will have two built-in playmates! Introductions are always supervised so everyone can become comfortable at their own pace. If your pet prefers personal space or needs a calmer environment, I can use pet gates, crates, or separate rooms to keep the dogs safely separated. Crates are only used when requested or when they are already part of your pet’s normal routine. Outdoor time is always supervised, and I have a camera that I can access at any time to help me monitor the pets in my care. Pets are allowed on the furniture and treated like family in my home. I provide fresh water at all times, cozy places to rest, toys, daily walks, supervised playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I carefully follow each pet’s usual feeding, medication, potty, and sleep schedule so they can feel comfortable and secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect the home, rules, and routines provided. I make sure meals, water, walks, bathroom breaks, medication, playtime, and special-care instructions are followed closely. In an emergency or if I notice anything unusual, I will contact the owner immediately and follow their instructions and emergency plan. I am comfortable administering medication and providing additional care for pets with medical needs, anxiety, or other special requirements.

About: I’ve never had a time in my life where I didn’t have a pet. I’ve lived with up to four dogs of all different breeds and ages, and I’ve owned two cats in my life. I’ve also fostered two dogs and one cat! I’ve done some minor training with my own pets, like simple “sit,” “shake,” and “stay” commands. I even got my cat to do a couple tricks! I started petsitting for family members and neighbors a few years ago, and I look forward to making new furry friends! I’m a PhD student working on my dissertation, so I’m always looking for things to add to my day that give me a break from writing! I usually write while I keep an eye on my own pets, and use playtime and walks as an excuse to take a break from my work. For daycare, I have a fenced in yard with spacious room for play and exploration. I also have plenty of space indoors to relax and nap, and the option to kennel if that’s desired. My house is also home to one cat and two dogs, with enough room to keep everyone separate or to socialize as desired. For drop-in visits, I’m timely with feedings and potty needs, and I’m well in tune with an animal’s changing needs. I love playing with pets to give them some enrichment time, or to just chill if they’re feeling more like a low-key hangout. I’m a respectful houseguest and I always try to leave a place better than how I found it.
