“Great experience with the host and Bunty had a good time at daycare. We got delayed and ended up picking him up an hour later than planned, and the host was very understanding and accommodating. Would definitely book again!”

“My girls had a great time and enjoyed playing with other dogs. They came home happy and tired. I love that there is a nice indoor play area, especially on a rainy day. Thanks!”

“Ericka made my first Rover experience so wonderful. I don’t know why I didn’t use it way earlier. She sent me pictures and updates throughout the day of my dog to ease my anxious crazy dog mom self. I’m really afraid that my dog will love her more than me and he won’t want to come home. Thank you Ericka for being so great and being a home away from home for my dog.”

“This was Nio's second daycare experience and thanks to Nancy he is getting more comfortable. I love how she allows the dogs freedom to roam because I'm sure it makes Nio feel like he's home. Nancy has been patient with Nio, I appreciate the time you're spending with him. Thank you for always sending updates, via text, photos and video.”

“I recently hired a Michaela to care for our family dog while we're away for the day. Her warm demeanor and caring attitude towards my pet made me feel at ease while I was away. I would use her services again in the future. My dog seemed happy and well-cared for during the time she spent with him. Overall, a great experience with a friendly and reliable dog sitter.”

“Layla did an amazing job taking care of Bella! She was attentive, loving, and made sure Bella was happy and comfortable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Morgan is incredibly kind and responsible. I can tell that Summer has a wonderful time with Morgan. When we picked her up, she eagerly wanted to follow Morgan back to the house. Upon returning home, she is very tired and sleeps soundly throughout the night.”

“My booking was last minute so it was a bit hard finding someone available. But I’m glad Jalena was able to take care of Mitsuri for me. I’m so happy she had so much fun with her doggies. It’s like it was meant to be haha. Will definitely book with her next time! Thank you!”

“Lauren was great (and so was her dog Onion)! She sent me frequent updates and plenty of pictures. Bruiser loved his first day of daycare there & was super tired when he got home. He can't wait to go back!”
“It felt good knowing Kota’s first time away she was in a loving home. I had no worries and loved the pictures showing she was having fun. Will definitely be using Zaidat again.”

“Andrew was great with Wilson! He hosted him for almost an entire day and took amazing care of him. He took such cute photos to send to us and we felt very comfortable!”

“Fan & Liang Z. took great care of my 2yr old Frenchie. This was his 2nd visit in almost a year, and at times he has high anxiety when he's away from me but he adjusted well by his second day, and was his normal self when I picked him up. I also received many wonderful pictures throughout the day showing how well adjusted he was to his new environment. I highly recommend Fan & Liang Z. if you are looking for great care for your furbaby!”

Prior to booking, reach out for an exploratory conversation and then if things click, we can do a short meet and greet before final booking. I'm a stay at home mom. My husband works from home and my children are older. I have a flexible schedule for pet sitting and boarding, drop in visits, and walks. I can cater to the dogs needs as per the owner's directions. We live in a single family house, on a quiet cul de sac in a sleepy suburb of Johns Creek. “Gunjan & Saurabh were incredible dog sitters!!! Last-minute we needed to find a sitter in the area and they had an opening- we did a meet & greet with our pup Brio, met their sweet dog Shadow, and played with the dogs together in their large backyard. They really know their stuff and Brio came back a happy and sleepy doggo! Would book again :)”

About: I’ve cared for pets personally as long as I can remember. After losing my beloved toy fox terrier, I’m excited to spend time with more loving animals. It’s the best of both worlds where I get to play with pets without being too tempted to take them home. I’ll make sure your pets get lots of entertainment and attention. I’m currently working part-time and have the flexibility to help take care of animals. Sometimes I’m out of state for work and will update my availability in advance. To check-in on animals I like to ensure they have enough food and water immediately. Then I would abide by the appropriate instructions- whether that’s go for a walk or letting the pets roam in the backyard. I’d be happy to take the pets on a long walk or short run. If allowed, I’d even spend some time at a local dog park.
“I’m really impressed with this dog daycare! The facility is clean and professional, and you can tell they take pride in maintaining a welcoming space. My dogs received proper care and attention from them, who were kind, patient, and truly seemed to love what they do. It’s clear that this is a safe environment where pets can play, rest, and feel comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, caring daycare for their furry friend!”

Donghao took great care of our dog on Christmas Eve. He offered to do a meet and greet before the scheduled date and was flexible with our drop off and pick up time. We appreciated his detailed update and flexibility. Our dog got plenty of play time and a long walk!

My booking was last minute so it was a bit hard finding someone available. But I’m glad Jalena was able to take care of Mitsuri for me. I’m so happy she had so much fun with her doggies. It’s like it was meant to be haha. Will definitely book with her next time! Thank you!

My 2 dogs had an amazing time at Sung Hee’s. We did a quick meet and greet a few weeks before, and I was able to explain my dogs personalities and behaviors. We did a day drop off and Sung Hee was great with sending photos throughout the day, took them on walks and I know my dogs were cared/loved for because they were extremely happy when I picked them up! Having a rescue who can be extremely skittish, this was such peace of mind for me. Very happy and will be using Sung Hee’s care for overnight boarding a few days in a couple of weeks.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
