About: A pup in my care is treated like my own. I typically will take them out and about such as the trail near my home, lots of loving and stern understanding through our time together. I work from home so I have all the time in the world to walk the pup every two hours, feedings through the day and scratches behind the ear often. I live alone with a fenced in backyard with cameras in and outside my home. The pup is allowed on the couch and bed. Your pup will be comfortable in a smokeless home.

About: Growing up I always had cats (5 to be exact) and dogs as I got older. I have three cats of my own since 2025. While I was in Law school I worked part time at a veterinarian clinic alongside my sister who is currently in vet school. I also have been dogsitting for May families since 2022 I do work 8-5 Monday through Thursday but always have time to drop by after work and on weekends! I am usually pretty flexible. My goal when I pet sit is always to give the animal what they need whether it be medication, a walk, or some play time. Top priority is always keeping the pet happy!

Baoer and her daughter visited our home for a meet and greet before we confirmed the booking. While we were away, they took great care of Kea (our cat). Baoer followed all our feeding and cleaning instructions, and they played with him a lot too. We were relieved to know he’s being cared for and adored.

We were so happy with Charlene who did drop in visits with our Golden Retriever Piper. We had never left Piper at home for multiple days and were nervous she may be lonely and not do well. Charlene made us feel at ease. She sent us a report and pictures after each visit and we could tell Piper was loving being at home and not in a kennel. Communication was awesome and we will definitely use Charlene again and highly recommend her.

About: I have been watching neighbors, friends and my families dogs since I was in high school. I’ve done week long dog sits or just letting them out to the bathroom. I am graduate student looking to watch and spend time with some furry friends. I am currently in Graduate School so I would be busy during the week. I am available after 5 pm on weekdays and I am available on weekends. I will make sure to care for your pet so that they are comfortable and having fun while you are out of town. I love to go on daily walks and would love to bring your pup along. I choose to care for pets in their own home so they don’t get too disrupted from their daily schedule.

Maria did a great job watching our 4 cats. She went above and beyond bringing in our packages and also topping up my aquarium. She sent wonderful daily updates with lots of pictures and made sure all 4 cats were accounted for. Our cats seemed to really like her and were much more relaxed when we got home than they were after previous long trips.

About: I have lived in a home with 1-2 dogs at a time for most of my life, starting when I was in preschool. Almost all of my friends and family have either dogs or cats, sometimes both, and I have also done a lot of pet sitting for them over the years. I have experience with large and small dog breeds, a few different cat breeds, and also some experience with farm animals. I do my best to stick to any routines or training, either actively ongoing or already in place, so knowing any pet’s specific command words or motions is helpful. I also have experience with almost all stages of life, other than fresh newborn baby dogs to eight weeks of age. I love animals, and treat each one under my care in any situation as if they were my own. My current schedule is fairly open as I am taking some online classes while I pivot in my career, so there is plenty of time for your fur babies to be loved on. My daily routine is fairly flexible and can be adjusted around a pet’s schedule who is under my care. My priority is the safety and care of your pet and your home. I am extremely respectful of people’s privacy and property so there would be no snooping, nor any crazy messes left behind. There would also be no one brought into your home not cleared to be there. House rules will be respected- like no dogs on the couch, no cats on the counter, don’t feed gremlins after midnight etc. I clean up after myself, bring my own food/snacks for overnights, and make sure the home is locked up tight whether or not I am there. I can care for plants as well- but need specifics as I do not have a green thumb. If your pet is used to having company almost 24/7, I will do my best to accommodate that. I am happy to sit curled up with your dog or cat and read or do my course work throughout the day/ night and have no problems co sleeping with your pet if they’re used to sleeping in bed with you. If they’re used to sleeping in their crate, that is easily doable as well.

About: Dogs have always been an important part of my life and have shaped who I am in many ways. Growing up surrounded by them made it feel natural to always have dogs around me. That lifelong love eventually led me to work as a dog sitter and walker in Atlanta during college. During that time, I had the pleasure of caring for a wide variety of dogs. These dogs ranged from large Rottweilers to tiny toy poodles, as well as energetic puppies and gentle senior dogs. I really enjoyed becoming a part of their daily routines and experiencing their faces light up with joy and excitement! I work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible, and this applies for the weekends as well. We usually start the day around 7:30AM with a quick potty break, and then the dogs either roam around for a bit or go back to sleep. Breakfast is at 9AM, followed by some time in the backyard to play or go potty again. During the day, I am working but make sure to let them out every two to three hours. If the weather’s nice and it’s not too hot, we’ll go for a walk around noon. I also try to play with them throughout the day by playing with their toys, checking in, and keeping them engaged. Before dinner, I like to help them burn off any extra energy by running around with them or letting them play together in the backyard. At 7PM they are fed dinner, and then they get some time to relax and digest. They usually nap afterward, and if they didn't get a chance to walk in the afternoon, I like to take them for a walk around 8 or 9PM. If they're still bouncing off the walls, we’ll play a little more in the house before they settle in for the night around 10 or 11PM. If I need to step out for an errand (typically takes about 2-3 hours), I always make sure they’ve been let out beforehand so they’re comfortable while I’m gone. I have three dogs at home two toy poodles and a senior husky. They all get along well with small to mid-sized dogs. The toy poodles have full access in our home, and our husky prefers to stay in the basement or backyard. Because I have a flexible schedule, I’m able to spend a lot of quality time with the dogs and keep a close eye on them throughout the day. I always supervise potty breaks in our fenced backyard, and while I’m working, they’re usually either entertaining themselves or relaxing right next to me. Our backyard has stairs that lead down to a grassy area, along with various plants/ small trees, and a koi pond. I make sure to stay attentive while they’re outside, so they don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. Inside, the dogs have full access, but we are typically on the main floor together. I’m always available to take them out whenever they need a potty break. We do have hardwood floors, with a few small rugs. I understand that every dog has different needs, and I’m always willing to give extra attention, patience, or care. Grooming is also a regular part of our routine, so I make sure their coat is brushed often, so they can stay clean and healthy.

About: I’ve had dogs all of my life. I got “my” first dog when I was 11. He was a Jack Russell named Patches and lived to be 15. In college, I got a terrier mix named Claire. She lived to be 16. After Claire passed, I adopted June Bug and Ryder, two lab mixes. Ryder and I trained to be a therapy dog team and worked in assisted living homes cheering up the residents. I have gone through many hours of training with both June Bug and Ryder and am considering working for a dog trainer when I retire from my teaching job. Ryder passed away in May 2026. I recently retired from the field of special education and I’m ready to care for four-legged babies! I know how stressful it can be to find someone to watch your babies or to board them, so I’d just like to help. That’s my main focus. My pups are my kids. I’ll treat yours like family too. I am a recently retired (but still young!) special educator so I am extremely flexible these days. I’ll keep my calendar up to date for availability. When I come to your home, I will treat it like my own. I am responsible enough to follow all directions you leave. I can administer oral medications, feed, check mail, water plants, etc

About: Hi there! 👋 I’m Felipe, and I believe your dog deserves more than a sitter — they deserve a caring friend who makes their tail wag while you’re away. I have experience with both bouncy puppies and wise senior dogs, offering everything from gentle training and fun play sessions to plenty of snuggles. My active lifestyle means your pup will get lots of walks, playtime, and mental stimulation, while my background in yoga and mindful movement brings a calm, grounding energy that helps even anxious dogs feel safe. You can trust me to care for your dog — and your home — with the same attention and love I’d give my own. Teaching yoga and tutoring math virtually give me the flexibility to spend plenty of time with your dog. At most, I teach three yoga sessions a day, which means your pup will never go more than about five hours without a walk, playtime, or bathroom break. Your dog’s comfort and routine are always a priority in my schedule. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment so your dog feels completely at ease. I follow your routines closely — from feeding schedules to walk times — and make sure they get plenty of play, exercise, and affection. I also keep your home tidy and treat it with the same respect I would my own, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is for you to return to a happy, relaxed pup and a home just as you left it.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Duluth stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Duluth choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Duluth with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Duluth. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
