“I really appreciate Hannah because I got home early and saw that she had taken Bruce out for a quick walk even though the drop in visit usually does not include a walk so that was very kind of her. I met her when they walked back to my house (which was a bit startling for her) but I'm glad I did meet her and she is very nice 👍🙂”

About: My name is Cadence and I’ve been obsessed with dogs my whole life. No matter how much time I spend with them, it will never be enough for me. I like to say, God knew life would be hard so he made dogs for us to make it a little easier:) Pet care fits perfectly into my routine, I have college throughout the week and tons of free time, which I usually spend with family or friends (and their pets) I don’t currently have any pets of my own due to money issues, but I am perfectly capable of walking any sized dog around any safe area. I am able to show up to your home in order to check on your pet, and I take pet care very seriously.

It is one of my top priorities that pups feel safe with me.
“Max did a phenomenal job, especially given how last-minute my request was due to a family emergency. He truly went above and beyond and made sure to follow all of my instructions carefully. He took the time to ensure my dog was well cared for, played with, and comfortable, which gave me so much peace of mind during a stressful situation. I’m incredibly grateful for his attentiveness and reliability. I would highly recommend Max to anyone looking for a great Rover sitter — he did an excellent job with my dog.”

About: I have had a dog in my house for my whole life. I’ve had to care for them when they are sick or injured as well! In addition, I love cats! I can lift heavy dogs if necessary! I am dependable and would be honored to take care of your pet! My pet walking and pet care business is my top priority at this time! For the foreseeable future, I will work the rest of my appointments and activities around my pet business! I love to pet and play with animals and give them lots of attention. I ask my clients what are some of the activities or preferences that their pets have so I can tailor my care to that particular pet. With dog walking, I will walk the amount of time and distance that the client feels their dog can handle and need. I will follow any feeding directions and make sure I change their water every visit.
About: I have house sitted for friends for weeks at times caring for their pets as well. I have also pet sat dogs, cats, and even a pig... I wish I was joking but animals of all kind need caring for at times. I am CPR certified and am intuitive of changes in animals the more time I spend with them. I am a teacher and have alot more free time now that it's summer time but would love to do this year round, walking dogs or house sitting when I can. I will not be caring for pets in my home since I live with roommates with allergies so I will only house-sit or walk dogs.

I'm currently working from home, so I will always be here during your pet's stay. The door will remain open at all times so they can choose when they're ready to come inside. If you prefer to crate your pet I have a crate available for use (just bring a pillow and blanket :) *I have 1 dog (Tinky) that will be in my home at all times.* The other dog attached to my profile will not be in the home, she is my sister's dog and is currently back home with her mommy :)

“Madison got along with my cat and took care of her well. She refreshed food, litter, water, gave petting and play time, and was able to pick up and hold my cat. Madison was attentive to instructions and gave clear updates with photos along with written summaries. She also responded to messages very quickly. I highly recommend Madison as a pet sitter.”

“Sophia was absolutely amazing with my cats and also took great care of my home while I was away. She was attentive, reliable, communicative, and clearly genuinely loves animals. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Duluth
Highly Recommend Brendan! Exceptional Care for our Senior Dog 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We booked Brendan through Rover to watch our geriatric dog, Roxie, while we were on vacation. Being our first time using an app service for pet care, we were incredibly nervous—but Brendan completely blew us away. He was extremely reliable and went above and beyond. Not only did he take amazing care of Roxie, but he also alerted us to a water leak in our home and was meticulously clean, especially in the area where we prep her food. Roxie was well-fed, well-loved, and kept very clean. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter and will definitely book Brendan again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
