“Devin was a trooper! Luna doesn’t like strangers, and their first encounter (without Dad) was a bit unsuccessful. However, she didn’t give up on our girl. The second visit was much better and everyone was happy. Will definitely be using Devin again in the future! Great job!!! THANKYOU!!”

“Rosemary took excellent care of our cat, even giving medications for him and giving him plenty of attention and love. She was professional and reliable. We knew our cat was in good hands while we were away!”

“Alexis has a great energy and my babies took to her very easily. She’s pleasant, timely and has great communication which leaves me with peace of mind when they are in her care. Definitely will be re-booking 🙂”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kind since I was little. I come from a big family and we love to rescue dogs! I understand each dog has their own needs, and I can adapt based on those needs! I routinely dog sit for family and friends and my own roommates dog! I am currently a first year medical student! I typically have class in the mornings with a flexible schedule. In the afternoons, I tend to have some mandatory things on Mondays and Thursdays. I’ve been helping my roommates with their dogs while they are in school too so I’ve learned how to make my schedule work for each pets needs! I have a fenced in back yard and two very sweet dogs that belong to my roommates! I also live close to a dog park with a big field!
“Alexis is fantastic! Great communication. Very respectful and thorough. Always spends time with our pups. We get pictures every time are very confident our two dogs will be taken care of when she does a drop in!”

“Abby is professional, responsive, and really loves animals. I am so glad we found her on Rover. She cared for our two aging dogs and made sure they were safe and fed while we were out of town. I recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for family friends for several years, providing reliable and loving care while they’re away. I’m experienced with feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and following each pet’s routine to keep them happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Pet care fits easily into my current routine because I have a very flexible schedule and am available most of the time. I don’t currently work, so I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for pets. My schedule can vary, but with enough notice I’m happy to accommodate different needs, whether that’s drop-ins, walks, feeding, playtime, or extended care. I will follow each pet’s specific needs, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any other instructions provided. I do not offer boarding at my home, but I am happy to provide attentive and reliable care where your pets feel most.
“Kathryn was very professional, kind, and went far and beyond taking care of my cat, Ella. She spent extra time with her while I was away and also took great care of my plants. I would recommend Kathryn to anyone.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care and attention Sadie receives from Enjoli. She is professional, reliable, and caring. She always arrived on time, provides updates and photos during walks, and treated our Sadie with the love she deserves! We highly recommend Enjoli to care for your pets!”

“Gracie is awesome! She is so sweet with our old boy. Very dependable & is always available when we need her. We have used her services several times. Highly recommend her!”

“Stacy does such a wonderful job with my kitties. One of the two which is completely shy has started to come out to greet her, which I know takes a lot of work on Stacy’s part. Stacy also goes above and beyond trying to find Mickey, even when he hides under my bed. She will always take a photo of him regardless of where he’s hiding. This helps give me a piece of mind. Stacy has also been kind enough to come at the last minute when I’ve not been able to get home. She is very flexible as long as you can give her enough notice to make things work for her and yourself. I love Stacy, and I think you will too!!”

“We love to have Sarah as our sitter! Huck loves her and she always takes such great care of our sweet Huck! It’s so nice to know we have someone we can trust and depend on to help us out.”
“Cayla was the best!! She sent us so many cute pictures and made us feel very at ease while we were away. And I just know our kitty had a great time! We will be hiring her again!”

“Baoer was incredibly down to earth and kept me updated during every drop-in visit. She really took the time to connect with my cat and made sure he felt comfortable. The photo and video updates meant so much to me, and after the first couple of days, I had total peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Baoer to anyone looking for reliable and caring drop-in visits.”

“Angel was great! Our request was very last minute and Angel came through for us. Communication was fantastic and helped to make sure all our fur babies were in good hands.”

“Fallin’s drop-in service was incredible. She made herself available during a crucial time over the holidays. She communicates extremely well and efficiently and she is very punctual. She spent adequate time with my dog and we are both very pleased with her service/care. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a drop in sitter”

Pete was so well cared for! Devania R. came twice a day, made sure our pup was happy and comfortable, and even sent us pictures with each visit. The updates gave us so much peace of mind, and it was clear our dog was in great hands. We’re so grateful and would definitely book with Devania R. again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Sugar Hill with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
