About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in college for some extra cash. Now I have 2 dogs of my own who are basically my children, so I’ve learned a lot along the way from experience and doing my own research. I can teach basic commands, basic obedience and potty training. What you can expect from me is to treat your dogs as I would my own with the same level of care and affection. I have two dogs myself. They are what got me into a routine. I have experience planning my days around potty breaks, enough outdoor time, play time, and feedings. I prefer we do some sort of walk through or schedule for the dogs because not everybody has the same routine so I don’t want to assume and carry on with what my routine would be and disrupt the dogs routine.
About: I’ve grown up taking care of family and neighbor pets. I also have some experience volunteering and fostering for the animal shelter. When it comes to walks, playtime, some basic training, and even bath time, I can provide loving, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs. I treat every animal as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work full-time, but I still have flexibility in my schedule and can adjust to your pet’s needs. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’m happy to work with you to make sure they receive the care and attention they need. Whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, check-ins, or plenty of cuddles while you’re away, I’ll do my best to help them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. While I don’t have a yard, I’m close to several parks—including a brand-new dog park! My home is calm and quiet, perfect for pets who need rest and relaxation.
“Raima does a great job of taking care of my older cats … giving medications, cleaning up after them, and updating me on how they are doing. I feel good leaving town knowing she will love on them and that they will be well cared for! I appreciate her willingness to meet to talk over care as well! Having her looking after them while I am away gives me peace of mind, and I am very satisfied with her drop-in visits. Thanks, Raima!”
“Devin was awesome, she spent so much time getting my cats to trust her and playing with them. Her communication was great throughout the whole time we were gone and you can tell she genuinely loves animals and pet sitting.”

“Anna Kate was a great sitter.Miss Kitty is very shy but Anna Kate made her feel safe and she loved seeing Anna Kate every morning. She did everything we needed and we were very pleased . Highly recommend her and we will have her sit again for us.”

“Alletta is an amazing pet sitter and really enjoys the pets (in our case, dogs). Our dogs completely bonded with her and were obviously happy to see her. Alletta also noticed a leak in our hose nozzle and turned the water off, so it would not continue to leak.”
“Kasey was on time and was very good with my babies! They seemed to enjoy their day with her and that is important for me to have that piece of mind when I have to work. Thank you Kasey!”
“Giana was so sweet with our boxer mix, Shelby. She came over during the day for walks around the neighborhood. She was on time, sent pictures, and had good communication. We can't wait to have Giana help with Shelby again in the future!”

“Rosemary was fantastic! She was so fast at responding to our initial request and accommodating at our meet and greet! She took care of our two cats, one of which is a super senior on multiple medications, but everything went smoothly! She was timely with each of her visits so our older kitty got her meds right on time! She left details about each visit on the Rover card visits and attached multiple photos! My fiancé and I will definitely reach out again! We were both out of cell service when she watched our cats but we felt comfortable and confident leaving our cats in good hands!”
About: Hi I’m Liz and I absolutely love animals! When I was younger I was always wanting to help out any animal I could find. I grew up with cats and a dog but once I got married my husband was allergic to cats so I never got to own my own cat. But I foster dogs on the side! I don’t work with any agencies, I just help certain life or death situations or senior pups who were denied proper care. I currently own 7 dogs ranging from all ages puppy to senior. I also own what most people call “difficult” breeds Akitas, Shibas, huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Samoyed! I have a few puppies in training at my house and would love to share my knowledge of dogs with others! If you have training questions I’d love to help you and get you on the right track! I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m currently working full time but I get off at 3-4pm each day and I am off Saturday and Sunday. I have a lot of wiggle room and would love to accommodate any way I can! I want to care for your pet in the same manner you do! I want your pet to feel like I am a second care human they are close and comfortable with. I will follow your instructions to a “T” so they aren’t left missing you too much! Right now I will only be offering your home for services but maybe some day mine as well :)
About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. I am great with puppy training and all cares needed for your furry friends. I have been around dogs my whole life and am very loving and caring with all animals! I am in the process of finding a new full time job so my availability is wide open to take care of your furry best friends! I always am taking pups on walks. I love to play with the animals. I also have experience with dogs with anxiety and willing to give medication if needed. Your furry friends are always very well taken care of with me!
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for family friends for several years, providing reliable and loving care while they’re away. I’m experienced with feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and following each pet’s routine to keep them happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Pet care fits easily into my current routine because I have a very flexible schedule and am available most of the time. I don’t currently work, so I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for pets. My schedule can vary, but with enough notice I’m happy to accommodate different needs, whether that’s drop-ins, walks, feeding, playtime, or extended care. I will follow each pet’s specific needs, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any other instructions provided. I do not offer boarding at my home, but I am happy to provide attentive and reliable care where your pets feel most.
“Maria was truly a blessing for us during our absence. She took excellent care of Chelsea every day, even during an ice storm, and then snow the following week. Her attention to detail and care were so appreciated. We will definitely be using her again.”

“We have used Maya several times, she's great! We have an elderly cat that needs meds daily. It's so comforting to know when I'm not there I can rely on Maya to check on my old girl ♥️”

Amber has done a great job with my pets including an elderly blind dog who need insulin and other medications and is finicky about eating sometimes. She took great care of my dog and cats and worked with me to solve a few issues that occurred while I was gone. I would highly recommend Amber! I could enjoy my time away from home knowing they were being loved on and having such great care.

Kathryn was amazing with my two dogs! I am a very nervous dog parent with leaving my dogs with someone while away but I had an upcoming trip. I found Kathryn and had a meet and greet with the dogs before hand. She made me feel comfortable leaving my dogs in her care! My building lost power during me being away and she kept me updated on that as well as making sure the dogs were okay. She sent updates and photos of the dog on each drop in! I would definitely recommend Kathryn to anyone looking for someone to watch their pets and will use her in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
